Hi, I really messed up, I was trying to breed an event pokemon using daycare but wasn't aware that it could also produce regular eggs. I can't seem to release the wrong egg or turn the pokeradar off. I really don't want to admit that I just lost money over a dumb mistake.

I can't afford the event pass, so that's not an option either.

Edit: OK I figured it all out. Thanks so much for everyone's help.

As far as I know, there is no way we could release eggs. I've been in your situation many times :'D

The only way to save your chain is to afford an Egg Storage which can be bought at Bill's House. Then you can put that egg into the Egg Storage, preventing it from hatching.

(Also buy Wide Lens in Item Shop. That item will help you detect Event Eggs in Daycare)

You cannot release eggs, but you could buy an egg storage place for the wrong egg and place it there.

Event pokemon rarely breeds event eggs and the daycare releases the eggs within a day. You can buy the wide lens so they can analyze what pokemon is in each egg.

Also get yourself a wide lense. It will help you search what the eggs are in the daycare. So if you have like say a violedge it will help you determine if it's a regular one or the event one. I'll even help you out since you're very new
I think the egg storage is about 50k and you can put in one egg. But it still helps. If there's anything you need help with I'll be willing to help if I'm able to

Okay, so it's a race against time to get the egg storage box. Thanks everyone for the help. Once I get my bearings a little more I'll also get a wide lens.

Also with your current premium account, your chain would break but you wouldn't have to pay for new batteries. Your new hunt would start immediately after hatching the correct egg (which is why you can't currently turn your pokeradar off, it's technically always on until you no longer have premium).

EDIT: Oh, if you're using an event pass, yeah you'd lose the pass.

I know that the radar wouldn't need to recharge, my problem is just that I paid for nuggets to get the eggs - so even though I have the ability to breed more of them now, I'm a little sad that the money went to waste. I suppose it's my own fault for trying such a challenging hunt so early on, so I can only be mad at myself. lol

From experience always start low then work your way up. If you want to get at least some of your pd back I know some ways that will

I tried a lot of times, well eggs just come back. I don't think eggs are Releasable, sadly.
