Basically a high school rp, but with dragons


Lore stuff
-The school is a floating island in the sky, with two large mountains being the main school building. There are elevators built for dragons who aren't confident enough to fly, or have disabilities preventing them from flying
-Classes are Ancient runes, Potions, History, Math, Herbology, Music, Art, Geography, and Physical Education.
-Dorms are named after gemstones and resemble large caves with Bunk nests, (basically bunk beds for dragons) storage, and a large window looking over the school grounds.

NPCs
Headmaster: Dovah, an elderly dragon who spends most of his time in his office high up in the mountain. A wise and busy Earth dragon who founded this school thousands of years ago.
Deputy: Tren, a dragon who helps Dovah maintain the school. She is an earth dragon who puts her work before anything else
Teachers:
Nox: male dark dragon who teaches ancient runes. Despite his stern look, he's a gentle dragon.
Gek: male light dragon who teaches potions and History. Wears glasses purely for fashion.
Kaida: female Electric dragon who teaches Math. Wears glasses but not for fashion.
Rose: female plant dragon who teaches Herbology. Likes the students and is often the most favorite teacher among students.
Atel: Gender neutral water dragon who teaches music. Loves the water and the sounds of the sea.
Wyn: a female air dragon who teaches art. She is known for being scatterbrained and forgetful.
Ruu: a male fire dragon who teaches geography. Very strict, often everyone's least favorite teacher.
Katu: a male earth dragon who teaches Physical Education. Believes in trying and putting your best in everything.

Personality: split personality, kinda like the Stygian Nymph in Honkai Impact. She can be charismatic and warm hearted, but she can also be the exact opposite.Constant traits are loyalty and a strong sense of awareness. She can also be very sarcastic at times, and literally sizes up everyone around her
Abilities:
Deoxygenation— She can suck up all the oxygen around her for a maximum of 2 minutes.

Ergokinesis- She can create, shape and manipulate dark energy, usually drawn from inter-dimensional or other similar sources. It can be channeled to a variety of effects as an absence of light, a solid, gaseous and/or liquid substance that can be shaped/manifested in various ways. Unlike Darkness Manipulation, which draws from the similar source, dark energy focuses on direct, destructive and violently outward directed aspects of the spectrum. However, this magic is very, very unstable, causing damage over time to hee as she uses it. Long usage causes loss of sanity, and physically tear apart her body.

Teleportation/Speed— Using her darkness magic, she is able to create portals to teleport, and air magic to speed up her flying

With fur that almost seems crafted from of the clouds, many are surprised to learn that Pitaya is not a wind dragon. The various gems embedded into his skin betrays his earth dragon status but his plant dragon status blindsides many. The petal like patterning down his flank and butterfly wings are the only markers of such powers, his honeydew colouration a perfect blend between his two heritages. Pale pink scales cluster around his most sensitive areas, namely the bottom of his feet, the roots of his wings, and the base of his four horns. His sightless brown eyes are clustered with sparkling stones

Personality:
Soft spoken and a bit shy. Pitaya doesn't like to cause trouble or draw attention to himself. He can come off as a little apathetic as there are many things that he can not relate to and emotions don't come easy to him. He much prefers the company of plants over other dragons but he is fiercely protective to those he cares about. In those cases, he can be self-sacrificial to a fault and has a bit of a martyr complex

Abilities:
Center of the World
From the bottom of his feet, roots sturdy enough to ground Pitaya and make him virtually immovable sprout. Using these roots, he can gather nutrients from the soil and heal himself at the expense of killing most plant life around him. He can not use these roots on anyone but himself and he can use them to grow plants though he can not grow plants and heal himself at the same time

Earth's Emissary
Much like Toph from TLA, Pitaya can use the vibrations traveling through the ground to "see". In addition, he can communicate with plant life. However, he can only listen to the plants that he personally grows and can only "see" as far as the vibrations allow him to

Personality:

Itsu is a rather shy, non-confrontational individual who prefers to be a ghost in the room, which she often jokes as being part of the whole 'kitsune dragon' thing. Despite this, she can be a rather stubborn dragon when provoked, and is very stuck in her opinions. She has a 'if you disagree, that's your choice, but you're probably wrong' sort of philosophy.

Itsu is a very friendly and talkative dragon when approached first, but otherwise, there are things she'd rather do instead. Despite her ability to ramble on about things, especially her foxes, she's not particularly fond of long conversation, driving some away. She's okay with being alone though, solitary nature is part of her breed. She finds it hard to keep up social situations due to a lack of interest, so she just doesn't.

Itsu is a very curious individual, so she is actually very intelligent in a lot of passionate areas, yet she insists she's a literal idiot. She has a problem with feeling dumb, convinced everyone around her is somehow smarter. She's very insecure, possibly stemming from not being used to getting to know people, and has a tendency to be pessimistic for no reason. Because of this, she mostly sticks to her foxes, who never judge her.

Abilities: Itsu is what is known as a kitsune dragon, not because she has the powers of a kitsune, or just because she sort of is colored like one, but she happens to have a strange ability to tame foxes. She always seems to be followed by at least one, usually more.

She can breath fire, as well as manipulate it. Usually she doesn't like to hurt others, but she likes to intensify heat so much that her opponent passes out from it instead. Usually she'll just wrap them in a ring of fire and stay out of the way.

She literally can not get cold. This makes her a difficult opponent for ice dragons, as most of the effects of their attacks are at the very least weakened, if not nullified entirely.

Personality:
While most would reckon she was quiet and distant, she was the complete opposite. Those who befriend her would keep complaining of her loud, childish, reckless attitude and called her 'one who needs a lot of attention'. Just by looking at her apparel, it's pretty clear that she was raised with wealth, hence bringing on her negative attributes. On the other hand, she was praised for her loyalty and vast knowledge from her curiosity. She would also lose a wing (literally) to help another.

Abilities:

Glacio
Freeze, literally. Just as the name implies. However, this ability does not only affect matter. After refining her technique, she was able to even freeze time, though only for a few seconds. Being too comfortable with this extent of her ability, she didn't bother to try and improve it. Yet.

Frozen Arrow
Similar to using a bow and arrow, Frost can create very sharp icicles as a long-range weapon. All she needs to do is focus on her target. Other than injuring, these icicles are so cold that they could freeze anything around them, possible leading to paralysis making this ability is quite strong and holds a lot of potential against foe. Though, due to her personality, she would miss 80% of the time.

Freezing Fog
This ability is one that Frost would rarely use since she would need to gulp in huge amounts of air to freeze before using this power. The mist that she creates would be so cold that even the slightest touch of it could completely freeze and break something, no matter how thick or strong it is. Other than potentially blinding others, this mist is also very dangerous to breath in by anyone but herself as it can cause severe damage to their lungs. This is the only ability she wouldn't take light-heartedly.

They don't make dragons like they used to anymore...
Tesona's body is quite remarkable to say the least. While the left side looks like an ordinary electric dragon, with grey scales that make electric noises when shaking or scratching them and a normal grey skeletal wing, it's right half seems overgrown with moss. The moss itself sometimes moves or shifts as well, even going up to her face and her wing, impairing her ability to see/fly but sometimes also enhancing them.
Personality:
Nobody really remembers what Tesona was like prior to her shift in elements, in fact nobody knows if she was an electric dragon in the first place. All they know is the current mess of a dragon:
Two personalities at war with one another, one a reckless fighting spirit of the electric element and the other, a mellow and pacifistic plant element cause quite a problem, especially over certain things. However, most of the time, she is able to masquerade her two-sided personality in the cover of just being an indecisive and shy dragon. Also, her botanical features make Tesona converse with plants on occasion, so finding her muttering to them is not a rare sight.
Abilities:
Infectious Current
Tesona shivers and jumps, her scales opening slightly and releasing a large cloud of spores, which do not adhere to windy or dry conditions. If making contact, a patch of moss will start growing on the spot it latched onto. Scratching/touching the moss will make it shock the aggressor with a stronger shock against Plant Dragons.
Mosidermis (passive ability)
The mossy side will have adverse effects on other dragons and their moves. The known ones are:
- Plant moves against Tesona's moss will result in the attacker's abilities going haywire for a short time.
- Water moves against either of Tesona's sides will give the respective personality the upper hand.
- Any kind of move against Tesona's moss will make her take less damage, while moves on her scales will automatically shock anything in close proximity.
Cooperative Field Study
Two minds sometimes think alike, and let us hope that Tesonas minds don't. With the combined efforts of plants and electricity, Tesona enters a new state of mind, a sort of fusion of the two personalities. Nobody really knows how this joint personality behaves, but the battle effects change accordingly:
- Any plant and physical move she uses gets infused with electricity.
- Any electric move will automatically seek the nearest living organism.
- Electric and Plant moves coming from her get a power boost, so does her passive ability.
