To be honest, Hop has to be one of my favorite rivals. I can't tell you how bad I felt when I kept beating him in battles and soon took the title of champion when it was his dream to beat his brother and become it.

Spoiler if you don't have The Crown Tundra dlc yet!

But when you get to the Galarian Star Tournament, you can choose who you want to partner with and I chose Hop so we can battle together again.

Sadly my brother and my best friend don't really like Hop but I think he would make an awesome friend to have!

I like Silver. He's a very memorable rival to me and I like how his character develops. He's cruel at first but learns to be a better person and trainer.
