Beep Beep Beep...

I wake up to the loud chirps of my alarm. I mumble something to myself, sitting up and turning on the tv. Big red letters on the screen blinked on and off about 6 times. 'Breaking News!' they read. I sighed, seeing the Avengers on the screen, again. I get up, getting my textbooks as I begin thinking. I wish I could prove myself to them, to show them what i was capable of! I mean, I may only be 17, but I have something special, just like them. I can control the elements around me, earth, wind, fire and air. Kind of like Thor, but more then lightning. I snap out of my thoughts, picking up my backpack and heading outside.

I walk the normal route to school. After the Blip, the streets and the entire area had been so empty and quiet, I would be lying if I said I was happy for everything to be back to normal. I went along like any other day, occasionally greeting the people passing by. I begin to smell smoke, seeing a small fire growing from one of the trees in the area. I fumble through my bad, quickly pulling out my water bottle and pouring the water out, bending it around my fingers and making it grow, putting out the fire. When all was said and done, I looked up to see people whispering and staring, some taking videos. My face flushed red, I grab my things off the ground and run off to school
