Meka shrugged. "I should hope not..." She murmured...anxiously glancing in every direction, hoping no guards came their way just now. "We need to decide quickly, in any case. Are we all agreed on exploring further? Because if so, we should move now. As Xerneas said, there could be guards anywhere." She hissed in a rushed whisper, her tail flicking as she visibly showed the rising tension inside her body.

Spiri, who'd been silent to this point, simply shrugged. "Whatever everyone else wants to do. I agree with Mew though, we should do whatever it is we want to do ASAP." The wispy smoky part of her booster tail was flickering in the low light, a strange showing of anxiety for the Reshiram.

Lola also nodded in agreement. "I too, think that whatever we do, we need to do fast." She was getting a little more anxious now, but also excited. This meant leaving the horrible humans! Truth be told, she kind of liked this human form, but she wanted to go back to being a Pokemon. She wanted to go back to Unova.

Silv nodded as well. He wanted to get back to Alola. "I swear, if we meet any guards on the way of busting out of here, I'm thwarting them," He muttered under his breath, still loud enough for the others to hear.

"I agree." The Diancie started, speaking in a quiet, almost a whisper voice. "We can't risk too much noise." Her hands were trembling in fear that they were gonna be caught no matter what, but she had to be confident.

The Tapu Lele nodded, showing that he agreed to the Mew. "Any last complaints?" They said, giving everyone a cold harsh look. They wanted to get out so bad and be with the beautiful flowers and fly around, scattering its healing scales.

With a deep breath, and a mental Here goes nothing, the Mew dashed off, her feet about a foot off the the ground. She wanted to explore quickly, to leave no room for the guards to notice them...or, at least to minimize the risk. She could feel the others' anxiety as well as her own.

As they explored the base, there seemed to be a suspicious split in one of the hallways. The left path was well lit, and there was the clear sound of voices. The middle path was pitch dark, it was impossible to tell what was that way. The right path was medium lit, and there were a few noises from that direction, but it was impossible to make out if they were voices or not.

Lola had been faithfully following until now, albeit very nervously, and she came to a quick halt when they stopped. She took a minute to assess both doors. Which one of them should they take? Lola knew that darkness was something quickly solved by a fire type move, but that would simply attract other guards and potentially cause a lot of damage. "I say we take the right path. There is at least some lighting, and fewer voices. If there are guards down that path, we have a higher chance of getting away."

Diana nodded, agreeing with Lola "The more guards the higher the chance of us getting caught." One could still see anxiety from her body language and trembling hands that were close to her chest. She looked around at everyone else and whispered gently "What do you think? And if there are guards I'm sure we can take on them..."

Lani seemed hesitant on the idea of maybe fighting guards. They didn't know what the guards had, or what they're capable of. They looked around at the number of Pokemon and very slowly, nodded.

"You may feel that way...but I certainly don't." Spiri lifted her wing, feeling the ache as she glanced briefly at Diana. She felt covered in scrapes, bruises, and strains from the abuse put on just this previous day. She needed to recover to go back to full fighting strength, and that meant rest. The pitch black, silent hallway was looking good to her. "We can agree on not going left, right? It's either middle or right...and I say we should go middle."

Flick shook his head in disagreement. "Perhaps the quickest escape route would be the one that's well guarded, yes? Think about it. We're in a prison, they aren't going to halt security at night. I agree with you, Reshiram, we can't go to the left, we aren't quite fighting fit, but that doesn't mean Diancie is wrong. We can still fight our way out if we have to." He pointed at the quiet grey hallway. "I vote we go right."

Lola hesitated, listening to the Reshiram's explenation. She didn't think that she would have a better idea then any of them, all she wanted was to leave this place. Being a Pokemon that brought luck, she knew that Giovanni would not let a failed attempt at an escape go unpunished. He wouldn't for any of them. So, she would go along with those older and wiser than her, but she still wanted her opinion to be heard. "I will go along with whatever the group chooses, but I agree that the right path would be best."

The Xerneas suddenly let out a high pitched squeal— “goddammit, if you guys don’t wanna die, move your lazy butts now. I can hear guards” she hissed, gesturing wildly. “I don’t want to be caught and put back in that nasty cell again, I don’t care what route you take, just pick one and let’s get the hell outta here” The more agitated she got, the more the shadows around her darkened, signifying her loss of control.

Flick slammed his tail over Xerneas's mouth before she could finish. "Hush! Do you want them to catch us?!" He hissed into her ear. He pointed at the two paths. "If you're in such a rush, how about you put in a vote. With our current count, we're still undecided." The tip of his long, violet tail twitched irritably.

She clamped down on Flick’s tail. “Oh” she mumbled, “You guys were squabbling?” She let out a girly giggle. “Let’s go then!” The Xerneas floated airily towards the middle routes, her mind spaced out and a extraordinarily creepy happy doll look on her face. “Come onnnnn, let’s gooooo” her voice floated down the corridor, as she went way ahead of the rest of the undecided and unbelievably ancient pokemon.

Flick debated just pulling them all back with psychic, but saw the others beginning to follow Scarlett down the middle path. He glanced at the others who hadn't moved yet. "I guess we're following them, then?" He wasn't sure whether or not to go after them, or if the right voters would rather split up and go right.

Meanwhile, there seemed to be footsteps coming down the hall

Lola shrugged. "I don't claim to know any better than any of you, so if you think we should go-" she cut herself off as she heard the footsteps. That made her uneasy. "Well, whatever we do, we should do it fast, because those footsteps are making me nervous. She took a couple of steps forward, peering down the middle hall. "It seems like Xerneas wants us to go that way."

Spiri shrugged. This was the path she had wanted to go down anyway. "Right. Let's not waste time." Though, with the sound of approaching footsteps, Spiri didn't want to risk lighting up the hall. They would be stumbling through darkness. She didn't see much choice, however, so she spread her wings and flew in without another second of hesitation

Diana, having no wings or levitation ran after Spiri, muttering about her not being able to levitate while in this weaker form. Her feet ran across the cold floor with a quiet, almost silent sound. Holding her dress with her hands so they made no noise, she looked behind her and waited for the others to come.

Lani seemed to grumble something, following the others. As much as the right path seemed to be safe, At least this path won't involve fighting- yet.

As they explored the darker path, they seemed to be going...down? That path seemed to only be going straight, no turning points. The area only got darker and darker as they went, until whoever was in the lead bumped into something. A wall. No, a door.

“Why did we stop? It’s not like the door is locked or anything, right?” Scarlett asked in the midst of laughter, before gently placing her hand on the doorknob. The darkness was comforting to her, like long tendrils of black sweet death wrapping around her. This was so much like her natural habitat
