RUNAWAYS

You and a handful of other kids have been born with scrambled dna, Some of you might have dna like a bird, some like arthropods, some may be anbians, others avains. These effects have just taken place during or maybe even after puberty.

As a runaway your gonna have to well run away from your home and either find a way to take down this company, or live a new life off the grid.

There is a company which wants to use the kids as experiments. They have permission to because well, the kids are half animals and no one cares bout them any more Other than your family, probably.

Alana finished coughing up the hairball, and grabbed the garbage bag. She flicked her large cat ears as she walked down the stairs, and threw the bag away. Her long furry tail swished as she went back to her room to read.

Alex woke up in a pile of white feathers. "wha-whats going on?" he rose from his bed his hand clasped to his head. "ugh" He combed his hair and brushed his teeth before looking into the mirror. "What the flip!?!?" He looked at he feathon his face for a good chunk of time before getting dressed, hiding his newly found wings in his jacket, and put on a kitsune mask before getting his bag and heading to school..

Alana looked at the clock and almost flew out the door. She screeched throught the school doors, and into the classroom. She sat down next to Alex, and had her ears and tail hidden in her hood and skirt.

He had his hood on as well as a white kitsune mask with red stripes going down the sides. "Hey alana, almost missed class, again" His voice was kinda muffled.

"sorry," Alana signed, getting out her math book. "I had a. . .problem." yesterday, she had grown ears. Today, she had ripped a hole in her cat pj's, with a tail. Not to mention the hairball. "What's with the mask?" She shifted uncomfortably on her seat, trying not to sit on her tail. She thought the muffling was coming from her ears. Her real ears had disappeared. She raised her hands and signed "my body is. . . Changing, but I don't think it's supposed to change like this"

Farah had arrived late, wearing a pretty bizarre outfit. She had a plague doctor mask, a scarf, an oversized jacket (with the hood pulled up) which almost reached her ankles, a pair of leather gloves, and some heavy-duty boots.

"What? This is just..... a cosplay!" Farah responded, giving Alana the best excuse she could come up with, "Yeah! I just felt like wearing this costume to school, that's all!"

The real reason behind her strange getup was because she had woken up today, looking.... more bird than human, to put it simply, and she didn't want to go to school looking like.... that.

Leroy woke up from the dim sunlight that hit his eyes.It was very quiet.No alarm was ringing and parents always headed to work a lot earlier than he went to school. After a bit of snuggling,he stretched but something felt off...He could feel one, two, three... eight legs?!? After removing his blanket,revealing his lower body, he sprung up off his bed,mostly due to his surprise. His waist had that the shape of a spider's. How would he cover that up and go to school?!? Speaking of going to school,from the corner of his eye,he caught a glimpse of the clock and realised he set his alarm to ring tomorrow. "This is bad! I'm late!" he thought to himself. He put on a black hoodie and just didn't even bother coving up his lower body since there was no way around it. He took the long way around,going from rooftop to rooftop while also getting familiar with creating webs. He hoped covering his head with his hoodie would at least count for something.

Farah, who just arrived in class as well, was worried about how P.E. would turn out (she didn't even like that class very much, but she signed up for it at the beginning of the year anyway just to get it out of the way and move on). She'll just have to pray that the classic "I have to go to the bathroom" wouldn't fail on her.
