Seraniph felt the axe blade make contact with him, then gritted his teeth and faded away. Now ghostly, the knight laughed. The sword had stayed in his hand, despite other weapons simply phasing through him.

Seraniph spun the sword, the blade ramming down into the ground. He felt energy pulse through the sword, then braced himself for what he knew would be coming. 'Void invaded the earth' sounded very lethal, even if he were the one wielding it.

“The void has found its way” the sword growled, before all the grass turned pitch black. Dark tentacles sprouted out of the ground, and rammed into the zombies. It ripped them limb from limb, untill the darkness melted away, leaving only blood and a few fingers “attack over”

Seraniph looked to the phantoms, then at the sword. "Phantoms are connected to the void.. Forgot about that." He smiled, although his face was still hidden. "Thank you for that."
