Shinobu herself was clicking her ballpoint pen as she eyed the cameras while something was being heated up in her microwave, as Mito was watching the cameras and eating out of a bag of Pokéblocks, Garuda was sleeping outside the office, Espeon and Umbreon were play-battling, Absol was asleep next to an empty bowl of kibble, and Porygon-Z was glitching around the area where the office was located. It was getting pretty boring, but then Mito made some bubbling noises and pointed to one of the cameras. "What is it, Mito?"
And sure enough, there were several people, some of them with their Pokémon, who suddenly appeared by the camera outside of Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh region, along with the Mythical Pokémon Mew. "Come on, my child, we're going to the CEO," she told her partner, before she and Mito exited the office, holding a microwave burrito and a bag full of Pokéblocks respectively. "GARUDA," Shinobu shouted at her Salamence, "WAKE UP, GARUDA! Keep watch out here and make sure NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE comes in here just to use the microwave. OR the mini fridge. That's an order!"
And with that, Shinobu and Mito stormed off to tell Shroud about these strange people, as the former of the two angrily ripped open the burrito packaging and took a bite out of the burrito.
Alex was braiding his pokemon's hair. "Hows that?" His bouffalant mooed.
honey was trudging her way, ahead of the group. To snow point, and the warmth. "v-venonat h-h-how are you doing?" The venonat slept.
Shroud sat in a tall backed, comfortable, black office chair behind her large, regal desk, atop which laid stacks upon stacks of papers, sorted neatly by importance. The desk was pressed up against the wall, but curved around in a horseshoe shape so that she could easily turn and have a meeting with any that deemed their message to be of enough importance. In the center of the portion that she spent most of her time at was a curved panel of three flattened keyboards, each with many more keys than any typical keyboard would ever be found to have. The wall in front of her was completely covered by crystal clear computer displays arranged in a methodical format, allowing her to easily navigate through and monitor her company's proceedings. The far right of the array broadcast the statuses, such as the date installed, the remaining core life, etc., of each of their many security cameras throughout the world; although they were headquartered in Kalos, she kept tabs on the proceedings everywhere. For marketing purposes only, of course, she thought to herself with a smirk. However, she was constantly busy with the more standard workings of the company, and therefore had a sector of employees assigned to watch the cameras and send any potentially interesting feeds to her executives for review. If any of the latter so deemed the video to be of any importance, they were to report directly to her. Such was the systematic nature of her Shroud Corporation.
A mug of coffee in hand, the woman tapped her long nails thoughtfully against the ceramic cup as various emails popped up on her screens. She scrolled through them without much of a care; most were from other companies seeking to do business with hers, and she was not interested in any way, shape, or form.
Typically, when someone seeking a business deal with her would enter her office, though it wasn't often, as she turned most of them down right at the start, the first thing they would ask would be some variation of, "Do you have any Pokemon?" Her staff enjoyed, nay, were encouraged, to keep their Pokemon out of their PokeBalls, provided they didn't stray anywhere near the lower facilities of the building. She, on the other hand, preferred to keep hers inside theirs. None of them really held any emotional sentiment to her, aside from perhaps her Kingdra and Froslass, slightly, and if she really thought about it, they were just a means to an end. They provided her with the power she needed to "help" others find the motivation to do what she needed them to. Smiling, she leaned back in the chair and took a sip of her coffee.
Booster looked at the person, before tapping them with her paws for them to 'get up'
Shinobu had knocked loudly on the door, taking another bite out of her burrito. Despite keeping all of her Pokémon outside of their Poké Balls, none of them held any sentimental value to her, aside from Mito, and maybe Garuda on some occasions. She just thought it'd be at least good for them to get some exercise outside of battle. At least she actually gives them Pokémon food (except for Mito, who always gets better food than just dry kibble, and Porygon-Z, who just eats whatever junk mail or spam is sitting around in her emails).
Not even glancing away from her screens at the sudden rapping on her office door, Shroud called, "Come in!" Interruptions rarely irritated her nowadays; she expected anyone who had something to say to her knew full well the consequences of being incorrect in their information or wasting her time with paltry requests better suited for one of her executive assistants to deal with.
Ferra smiled as she watched another one of the girls enter the Pokemon Center, and gave the Ninetales that suddenly started trotting around a soft stroke behind the ears before it found something else to sniff. She turned to its trainer and motioned towards the bench next to her, inviting the girl to sit down. "Is that Ninetales yours? It's been raised very well."
Grovyle broke away from Ferra for a few minutes as they walked. While humans were fascinating (and often confusing), he preferred to leave that avenue of conversation for his partner. The Grass-type took inventory of the Pokemon around him; there was a sleepy Venonat perched on a young girl's head, and a young boy was riding a Bouffalant. Another kid was carrying a Flareon, and she was followed by a woman with a Charizard. Grovyle couldn't help a stab of surprise at the sight of the draconic Pokemon. Not only was the Charizard noticeably smaller than most, but she was also shiny. The only other shiny Pokemon Grovyle ever remembered meeting was a...well, she was best described as a bit odd...but a Celebi, a Pokemon that he hadn't seen for a very long time.
A sharp cry shook him out of his trance, and he lept over to where the Flareon and its Trainer were checking on a girl who'd fallen face-first into the snow. Biting back a laugh, he bent down and quietly pulled the young girl to her feet. She looked a bit younger than Ferra, and he remembered that she was the one with the Absol. Though Grovyle wanted to ask the poor girl if she was alright, he figured it would be better not to scare the living daylights out of her by suddenly speaking English. Instead, he just gave her a reassuring pat on the arm.

Slightly put-out that the Grovyle girl had ignored his question about her watch, Felix just shrugged and marched on with the group. Despite his clothing being better suited for the bitter cold than some of the people here, he was certainly starting to shiver after only a few minutes in the snow. Grateful for the suggestion to reach a Pokemon Center, he began to trudge onward, his Wigglytuff following close behind him. As much as this is super, really, extremely weird, I'm kinda excited for whatever our 'powers' are gonna be!
Felix jumped a bit at a snarl echoing close behind him. He whipped around to see a very intimidating-looking Pokemon softly growling as it glared around at the people around it. Timidly, he spoke up. "U-uh, miss, your, um, your..." Pausing, Felix realized that he'd never seen the Pokemon before. "Um...your...wolf...thing...it won't attack any of us, right?" He felt his Wigglytuff shift closer to him as it glared protectively at the unfamiliar Pokemon.
The venonat took honeys pokeball and brought out a fluffy galvantula. She didn't mind as the Galvantula hugged her.
Daemon had only gotton half a stack of work done. His sneasel was playfully pouncing on the yarn ball.
