Gifted. A name given to humans born with super powers, or in their words, Gifts. Yet, much unlike the stories, the Gifted do not have powers like invisibility or super strength. Instead, their Gifts merely grant simple powers, like allowing one to have very high intelligence, or being able to speak to animals or so. And, unlike many other stories, where people with super powers are loved and respected, the Gifted are looked down upon, hated, scorned, by everyone else, except by others like them. The reason? Simple. Humankind hates and scorns the Gifted's, simply because they envy the Gifted.

They envy how the Gifted are blessed with power, whilst they watch from the sidelines, only being able to envy the power they hold. They hate them, because to them it isn't fair how they were blessed, whilst they were forgotten. So, they scorn them, because that's the only thing they can do.

But, there are some other humans. Humans that are fascinated, with the Gifted and the Gifts they have. So, they experiment on them, because to them, the Gifted are nothing but, a test subject to be taken apart and toyed with.

But, with a new age, comes new times, and a new age rose for the Gifted's. The Government put up rules, stating that no one was allowed to cause any sort of harm to Gifted's. Doing so, would result in severe punishment. This resulted in many protests, but soon people came to terms with it. But, there are still some people who pay no heed to these rules, and instead continue to experiment and discriminate the Gifted's.

After lots of protests from the Gifted's along with some kindhearted humans, the government began to take action and forced the public to stop the discrimination and experiments on Gifted's. And, so the discrimination lessened and the Gifted's were happy.

But, as the saying goes, Happiness never lasts.

Many Gifted's began to disappear mysteriously, with no trace left behind. There were efforts made to find them, but they proved futile. Who could be behind this? Could this be a plan made by some humans, or is there a bigger picture behind this?

"Please... We just want our little girl back.." The woman began to sob, as her husband tried to comfort her. The camera turned back to a red-haired woman, who was holding a mic. "That was Mia and Tyler Smith, foster parents of Sky, the Gifted who recently went missing this week. With Sky, about 71 Gifted's have gone missing these past few months. Police have made many efforts to find them, but unfortunately, they have once again been proved futile. What could have happened to these missing Gifted's? Unfortunately, the police refuse to give us any information about their investigation, s-"

Autumn switched off the T.V with a sigh. "Hurray... Another one gone missing. This case will probably be the death of me." Autumn huffed, before turning to Violet, who was playing with a kitten. "Did any of your friends mention anything about the missing Gifted's?" Violet shook her head. "No. Milk didn't say anything." Autumn groaned again. "Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful."

Meanwhile, “3...2...1... flip! One last hamburger then I can call it quits for today.” After a perfect burger has been put on a tray he tore off his apron, washed his hands, and said hello to the employees coming in. He looked at the news woman, “gifted’s? I knew I have been living under a rock but what do people have against them? And why am I speaking to myself? I dunno. I’m going home.” He walked home, and started to play the piano, which could be heard from next door. Nobody ever questioned how he was so good with the grand piano, but he was playing a song from a video game he liked

Autumn got up with a sigh. "Why exactly did past me think being a detective would be cool?" She gathered the files that were strewn on a nearby table. "And, John should probably reach in... 3....2....1..." As soon as she said 1, there was a knock on the door. Autumn looked at Violet. "Violet... I really love you. Please go and open the door." Violet seemed to think about it for a few moments before she shook her head. Autumn pouted. "Please? It's only John. He won't hurt you. Besides, I'm too tired to even move, considering the fact that I haven't slept in 23 hours." Violet sighed before she got up and opened the door.

Standing outside was a tall male, with black ahor and purple eyes. He smiled when he saw Violet. "Ah, Violet." He held up a couple of files. "Here you go. Hand them over to Autumn. They're info about the newly gone missing Gifted. And, tell her, we're having a meeting tomorrow." Violet nodded before she took the files and waved at John before closing the door. Violet ran back to Autumn and held out the files. Autumn took the files with a groan. "Seems my last day has come..." She quickly flipped through the file before she turned to Violet. "You'll probably be sleeping alone today too, Vi. This'll take a few hours." Violet pouted before she nodded.

The young lean boy sat on top of a building over watching the town. "Whats wrong with the normal people" he had a multitude of scars an cuts over his pale white skin. His eye were groggy and tired. Two Massive white wings are spread open behind him.

Noah stopped playing the piano and watched the news, “What did those kids do wrong?” He began to play his 3ds, epic music coming out from its speakers, as he was battling a team galactic grunt in DPP. “I wanna help, though I can’t.” He finished up the battle, and flew to hearthome to make flawless poffins.

Josephine immediately switched the channel to something lighter. Albeit she did find the kidnappings tragic, she didn't find it important to her. So far it was only Gifted that were going missing, and she wasn't part of that group. She was safe...for the time being, at least.

Gifted. She hated that word, it had...such a sense of superiority. Why was it that people like her, people who had been working their whole lives to reach the point that they're at right now, had to be beaten down by somebody who get the job completed with a wave of their hand?

Josephine grimaced and began to pack her things to start another day at medical school.

The pale white kid took to the sky, he needed food. If anyone looked up they could probably tell what he was. "Somewhere less populated" His eyes flickered from house to store to building to building.

Era finished her breakfast and decided to take a stroll on a nearby trail in the forest. She whistled as she walked, hands in her pockets to a small clearing. She checked to make sure no one could see heart and took the bark she found on the ground, and set it down. She then used her Gift, and used fire to draw on the bark. She made a simple dog and left it on the trail, as she always did, for others to find.

The kid landed in an alleyway he folded his wings behind himself and covered them up with a jacket. He walked onto the side walk into a diner and sat at an empty table.

He ordered a couple of pancakes, finished them up and took off running out of the diner down an ally and up into the sky. "That was... really easy" he flew up and landed on the edge of the forest.
