Welcome, to the Evonolite Region!


Today is the day you can get your starter Pokémon! You are so excited! You don't even need to worry about being late, since there's a secret Pokémon supply source that no-one has an idea where it's located! You rush off in excitement, forgetting to take your Pokémon guide. You don't bother to get it back, since you'll get a Pokédex.

Ruby did manage to get dressed as she rushed to the lab, although she didn't have too much time to brush her hair, so it was kind of sticking up a bit before she placed her cap on. Ruby quickly put her locket around her neck before heading out.

Sophie had just walked inside of the lab, while thinking about the Pokémon that she wanted. A Swanna? No. A Dewgong? No. A Mismagius? No, no, NO! She had remembered seeing a Picture about Eevee and its evolutions in her guide, perhaps one of them?

She eventually made it into the lab, trying to catch her breath. "This, is why, I don't like running." Ruby panted, entering the building. She started thinking of a starter. "Who should I even choose?" she muttered, tilting her head thoughtfully.

Snowflake took her time on her way to the lab, still drowsy from waking up. She had stayed up last night from excitement for getting a Pokemon, and didn't actually pass out until late. Now all of a sudden she was regretting waking up. That should soon change though. She had already decided on a starter Pokemon. Liepard. She knew of it's cruelty, which might just match her well, punishing her opponents when she bonded with it. Also, she was a feline person

"Ah, I know!" Ruby finally decided to have her final pick as Salamence. It was odd yes because it was a more fierce pokemon and she was just timid, but she knew it was the best choice for her.

Then Sophie remembered, her Mum had chosen a Dragonite, and her dad, a Galvantula. Sophie knew which Pokémon to choose now! A Glaceon!

Jesse woke up late on the most important day of his life. Of course he did. Of course. He lives alone with his Mother, who has a Stoutland that she's had for a very long time. He really loved that Stoutland, but wanted his own Pokemon. He had been looking through a guide book given to him a while back, and could only decide that he liked fast Pokemon. He put on his favorite clothes and told his mother goodbye, and then sprinted as fast as possible to the Lab, about a mile from his house. He arrived right after he saw a few more kids going inside.

Sophie went up to the desk and asked for a Glaceon. Like so, she had gotten Glaceon's Pokéball, 6 other Pokéballs, a Pokédex and an evolution stone set.

Ruby followed Sophie from behind and waited until it was her turn. When she was at the desk, Ruby asked for Salamence. Once she got her starter, she also got its pokeball, a few other pokeballs, a dex, but she refused to take the evolutionary stone set.

As Jesse looked around, he saw so many amazing fast and tough looking Pokemon! There was Jolteon, who seemed like a perfect fit, there was Arcanine, who seemed a little rough around the edges, there was Crobat, but Jesse didn't really like that one, and there was a ton of Pokemon that Jesse just wasn't interested in. He decided to take a pick of a Pokemon that would really be like him and that he could train well with. As he made his decision, he walked up to the main desk and asked for his Pokemon. He also asked for more Pokeballs, as well as the other things that were given. As he walked outside Jesse threw his Pokeball containing his starter at a perfect angle, and out came his Hawlucha, and at first sight, they both knew they were going to be friends and partners forever.

She went outside to meet her partner since it would be rather weird seeing a large dragon type inside, but she would go back in. Ruby opened her pokeball as Salamence appeared. She checked her pokedex and saw that it was a male. "Nice to meet you... Otachi." She smiled, liking the nickname she gave him. Salamence roared, also having liked it.

Sophie caught a glimpse of Ruby and the huge Salamence. "Have you got that Pokémon for your starter? she asked while taking out her Pokéball. She threw it at the ground and a Glaceon appeared.

Snowflake immediately requested a Liepard, letting the creature out as soon as she got it. "Hello, Miko." She had already picked out a name for her. Miko made a little "mrrp!" Sound in greeting, actually seeming quite friendly

Ruby looked at Sophie and replied, smiling a bit, "Yep, I actually chose this one because my mom uses dragon types, so I wanted to see what that's like." Otachi grunted in approval, slapping his tail on the ground. He glanced at the other trainer and dipped his head in greeting.

As the Hawlucha sprung out, Jesse felt a sense of amaze wash over him. The Hawlucha was perfect. Hawlucha walked over to his trainer, and shook hands with him, which surprised Jesse by how human like he really was. Jesse knew that Pokemon were happier when they had friends, but he couldn't rush thing too much. He decided to go say hello to the other new trainers. He was impressed by the bold choice of Salamence, and the amazing calm the new trainers seemed to feel with their Pokemon. He knew that inside, he was just bursting to figure out everything about his new partner and see how well they could bond! "Hey" he said walking over. "I'm Jesse, nice to meet you!" His Hawlucha was also surprisingly nimble as well, as he bounded up the trunk of a nearby tree and glided over to the others.

She looked at Jess and answered, "I'm Ally..!" She seemed a bit shy, having to talk with people, but was feeling quite happy about it. Otachi nudged his head on her, already happy to be with his trainer. Ally laughed slightly, rubbing his head.

As the others talked about their parents, Jesse got a little sad. He never knew his dad but his Mom was literally the Dog Pokemon Queen. She has a Stoutland, Manectric, Houndoom, Mighteyena and all 3 forms of Lycanroc. She didn't really have a type, but he knew his dad used to be a Normal type Gym leader as crazy as that sounds. He had trophy's and things all over the house, and his Talonflame watched over it, but he had never seen his Dad in person. He called every once in a while, but never for long. He promised if he ever had a family that he would never do that no matter what the reason. He already had a Girlfriend but that was definitely complicated. She was in a different city at the moment, and couldn't keep in touch so he had no idea how she was doing. She had caught a Floatzel a while back, so that was her partner but he hadn't seen her in the better part of three weeks.
