Rainbringer stepped a little closer, allowing the fluffy lemur to lay a paw on his snout. His eyes had focused in on the paw, making him go cross-eyed a little. Blinking, he settled his gaze back on the lemur and Quoll, his scales turning a nervous green color, although it was mixed with a lot of teal, so it was difficult to see. "I.. Uhm.." His talons shifted slightly on the ground. "I-I'm not sure." There was clear embarrassment in his voice, and it was shown in his eyes too. "I usually just wake up with an animal on my back, like a sloth, but I've never really.. Y'know, held one before." He turned a light red on top of the teal and green, making him seem like more of a RainWing than a NightWing.

Quoll adjusted Kapok in his talons and looked at Rainbringer, a funny smile on his face. "What?" he asked, his scales becoming a mix of ice blue and seafoam, and a few specks of yellow on his snout.

"W-well, I don't want to hurt him, and I'm afraid I might if I try to use my talons to hold him," Rainbringer stammered out. His eyes flicked between Kapok, Quoll, and the ground, never fixing on one thing for more than a few seconds. Looking at the lemur, Rainbringer turned a little red, although it wasn't the same embarrassment red that he wore on his face. It was more sunset... And it showed in his eyes too, he was frustrated with himself, with his inability to decide anything.

Rainbringer flushed red as Quoll grabbed his talons, and green blossomed around the teal, which was now diminishing. Opening and closing his mouth a few times, Rainbringer tried unsuccessfully to find something to say. Keeping his eyes carefully on the lemur in his talons, Rainbringer seemed to freeze, as if he'd just been jabbed in the back by something pointy.
