Sign-Ups.

Some rules and stuff.
Show hidden content
- This is loosely based on Rick Riordan's mythology books, such as Percy Jackson, the Heroes of Olympus and The Kane Chronicles.
- If you know nothing about Gods, don't worry. Your character starts knowing nothing about them anyway.
- If a God is taken, do not choose it.
- All role-playing rules apply. No bunnying, be nice, etc...
- Preferably not too many one-liners, please.
- You don't literally get to be a God, you're just specifically good at their skills.
- Try to keep it pg with the language - words like flip and bloody are allowed.
- I will not be controlling this rp, I will just have a character. Any monsters can appear at any times.
- This is set before Rick Riordan's series', so no talking about Percy.
- Keep the spoilers to a minimal. Not everyone has finished the series.
- All ages are 16. Because I can't be bothered to put age in the form.
- If they are related, two people can follow the same path.
- Newbies are being attacked, Apprentices are helping the Newbies and have been practicing their powers for three days, but are still very bad with them.
- Everyone will be arriving at Camp Half-blood, even the Egyptian people.
- The 'Fears' part of the form is important. You will see why later. At some point.
Jeez, that was long... Now, onto the Gods.

A monster of some sort walks into your room, after blowing up your door. It's late at night - the moonlight floods through your window, illuminating your burning room with a mysterious glow. How are you supposed to defend yourself against that? Well, maybe you could learn to control the strange things you've been doing... In the next five seconds. Good idea.

Alder huffed, marching to the nearest house. The monsters had decided to attack an entire street this time, for some reason. After arriving at the nearest one, she stood by the annihilated front door, wondering why she was even bothering to help these people. They had never done anything for her. Chiron's orders, she scolded herself. With a sigh, she stepped through the empty doorframe, and was rather surprised to see about ten cats staring at her. Ignoring them, she slipped past, to the bottom of the stairs, whilst desperately hoping that the other people being attacked could hold out.

Tirik's body jolted when his door exploded. He shivered, then sat up. The beast leapt down his stairs, knocking down the door to his doorway. He stood up, slow and collected, then launched himself at the beast, purposefully shoving his hand down it's throat, pinching a nerve. He watched as it struggled to close it's jaw. "Alright, now I can't move until somebody comes to help me," he thought. He pinched a little harder and the beast whimpered, ever so slightly.

Meanwhile, Akira was running around like crazy, dodging the beast as it tried to attack her. She hadn't noticed that at some point during all of this, her ears had changed into those of a cat, complete with light brown fur that matched her hair.

Adler burst into the room, behind the beast. She seemed completely controlled, and not at all worried about the monster attacking the girl... Who seemed to have grown cat ears. With a sigh, she grounded herself, focusing so much that her face contorted slightly. She managed to let loose two scorpions, which attacked the beast immediately, clawing out chunks of skin. With yet another sigh, she called, "This way," to the girl, and started walking out of her door, not waiting to see if she followed.

Kohaku had been folding up his clothes when the monster had burst in, his old oak door blasted off its hinges. "Oh come on, ye ever heard of knocking?" He complained thinking it was one of his master's. Turning around, Kohaku stilled at the sight of the odd and grotesque creature and raised an eyebrow. "Well yer new. Who sent ye this time 'round?" He asked warily, hands held up and ready to punch whatever living nightmare had wandered into his dingy room. The beast very helpfully let out a screech and lunged at Kohaku, the pink haired boy sighing in exasperation as he had anticipated this. His hands moved fluidly, his arm connecting with the beast's mouth as he forced the creature back using its own momentum. The rows of jagged teeth digging into his flesh certainly felt real and Kohaku frowned as he pinned the writhing creature down with his knees with a sickening crack. It had been shockingly easy to subdue the creature, even more so than normal. Sure he'd been trained to take down people larger than him but this monster was much heavier than any normal man and Kohaku had never been great in terms of physical strength preferring to use him mind over his fists.

Akari had begun to follow the girl, soon noticing that not only were her cats here, but some of the cats from the neighborhood were here as well, including a few strays. And though to most people it sounded like they were just meowing loudly, she could actually.... hear them talking to her? This was getting really weird. First, this monster bursts into her house, now her cats, along with all these other cats, were talking to her? Akari still wasn't quite sure this wasn't just some weird dream.

Alder strolled into the next house, still not looking back, only to find the boy's arm being eaten. Well, she thought it was being eaten, until she saw that the beast wasn't moving. "Erm.." Folding her arms, her expression turned from one of surprise to her normal one. "Looks like you've got this sorted already." With a smirk, she pulled out her wand - a more or less boomerang looking thing, bone-white. She pointed it at the monster, then spoke, "A'max." A hieroglyph burned in the air, and the beast erupted into flames, with the boy's arm still in it. She turned, obviously exhausted, and began to walk to the next house, again not looking back. Her knees almost buckled beneath her, but she managed to continue, knowing that they could lise perfectly good Apprentices if she failed.

Mercury had been hiding for the past ten minutes, he was switching hiding spots constantly, yet the beast that seemed to roam around his house wouldnt leave that quickly. He knew that he had always been good at Flirting but he wouldnt be able to just flirt with that beast and tell it to leave, even if he would do it in the sweetest voice he had. He shuddered at the thought of the beast being all dirty and filthy a small "Gross" was heard as he just thought about it. He then heard shuffeling a few meters away from him and quietly cursed himself for giving out his place of hiding because of his mindless thoughts

Kohaku looked genuinely surprised so see someone walk in. Yeah sure he lived in a run down offshoot of the mansion he served in but still, the security couldn't have been that bad. But then again, if something like this monster got in, he supposed that their security must be pretty bad. He made a mental note to tell his masters that but the thought was soon dispelled when the monster burst into flame. Reeling back, he stared at Alder's retreating back his arms still throbbing. Oh that was going to be a pain to bandage and heal up but he was grateful that his young master was out of the house today. That boy was way too nosy for his own good and wouldn't have gotten caught up in this odd hallucination of event that Kohaku was half convinced was a dream if not for the stinging pain. Though he didn't feel particularly inclined to follow Alder, he did slowly trail after her with curiosity pricking at his being.

Tirik watched the beast vaporize, his fingers connecting as the back of its throat disappeared. "Hm." He looked at his broken door, then picked it up, pulling it back into place as he exited the room. "So now what? My neighborhood is being attacked by rabid bears?" He jogged after... Whoever it was that had just eliminated the beast, then stopped as they entered a massive building.

"Rabid bears?" Alder let out a barking laugh. "Sure, let's just call them that." She paused, listening, before turning and stalking over to where she had heard the voice. She stared down at the hiding boy, a look of disgust in her face. "Get up," she ordered, taking a step back with a quick glance over her shoulder. Three people. She really needed to get a move on. "Wait here," she told them, before moving onto the next house.

Tirik looked almost offended. Wait here? Who did she think she was? He almost went with her, then stopped himself and turned to the other two with him. "Let's see... Akira.. And Mercury, right?" He sounded almost bored, as if he were talking to a dead bug that was stuck to the wall. "Nervous? Sore? Genuinely pissed for no reason?" He had two fingers out in front of him, pointing back and forth between the two.

He shrugs a little, he didnt really plan on talking but wondered why Tirik knew his name. He wanted to ask yet decided against it and just Shrugged again. He didnt really know how to feel after just being attacked by some monster and missing his beauty sleep

[QueenBee - this is a roleplay thread, where people create a character and play it in a certain way/place. Please do not post on these threads, unless you have signed up and been accepted. If you're wondering how to get something, look on a help thread, not here.]

Alder stumbled into the next house with a blown door, where someone had been caught off-guard, reading. The beast was in a good position - directly between her and the girl. Mumbling under her breath, a stoic expression on her face, she again pulled out her wand, though she was unsure if she could cast another spell without passing out. Perhaps a simple, small one would work. Taking a deep breath, she raised her wand, saying another spell she knew well: "Ha-tep." Another hieroglyph burned in the air, and the monster seemed to calm a little. At least, enough for it to step to the side. She grabbed the reading girl, dragging her out of the door and to the rest of the group.

"Oi, don' push yer'self." Kohaku hurried forward from the shadows he was following the group by and helped support Alder who was looking very pale. "'m grateful for yer assistance but y'gotta do things in moderation." Frowning, Kohaku didn't like the look of things. The girl seemed to be gathering and saving people like him who had been attacked by those mysterious monsters. Well, if it was just saving these kids and holding off monsters, Kohaku reckoned that he could at least help out somewhere.

Gaelos stared down the strange monster in his room, a frown on his face. He stumbled back against his window, reaching for the latch. He picked up a lamo by his bedside and threw it at the monster as he worked to unlock the window. Finally he slid it open, jumping out and moving towards the road. What the heck was happening?

Alder pulled herself away from Kohaku, a snarl on her face. "I don't need your help." She heard a dull thud as someone landed on the road, so she cast her eyes towards them. Another attacked path finder, she guessed. Gesturing for him to come over, she sighed a little, hoping that was all of the people that needed saving. "Right..." Assessing the group, she figured some were more prepared to fight than others. They could make it back, though chances were rather slim. "Any of you know which path you're following?" She suspected that they didn't even know the Gods existed, so was mostly doing this to wind them up.
