Plot: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

4/5

I haven't read the light novel so it's only expected. So far, this series seems to be growing on me but it has no dramatic fights apart from Ifrit and Disaster orc. The potential of Rimuru is limitless and very op (so broken..) but what the hell, this is isekai..everyone getting isekai-ed is so shittingly op and lives a casual easy life (with the exception of Subaru).

But I do like the concept of monster evolution when given a name (My favourites are the Kijins)

This anime might have a generic isekai beginning, but they were able to stand out over others by having a very different approach. Basically put, the plot is not about slaying the demon King and saving the world but it's about a slime trying to build a nation for monsters. However, the story arcs were dragging on and it was quite slow.

Characters: 🌟🌟🌟⭐

3.5/5

Well.. after the name gain..the characters don't seem to do much after showcasing a few of their prowess. I really wanted to see more of Souei and Benimaru in action, I also wanted to check on Shuna's magical capabilities.. but It's always Rimuru doing the saving. Since it's only the first season, I hope the light novel readers have seen certain boosts in their character development in the later arcs.

I'm excluding economy and society building here.

I see Rimuru as a clever protagonist but he/she can be naive in certain ways. Each character definitely worships Rimuru but I'd love to see their own opinions too.. they're too simple.
And I absolutely love Benimaru's character, he should really get a power boost and Milim should be nerfed. Why do authors make Lolis so op? That Milim reminds me of the saying, "Brute without Brains"

The extra episodes after season 1 was interesting, I like the interactions between Ifrit and Veldora. I guess Veldora will be released soon? Hopefully season two gets more character development.

Music:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5/5

The OSTs were simply great, I liked each of the scenario music. Apart from OSTs, I think the first op foreshadowed a lot of scenes which didn't even happen in season 1. But the ending songs were really good too!

Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

4/5

I liked the anime. It's definitely worth watching. It's slow paced but CGI is so smooth! You just can't help wanting for season 2 haha! (Season two will be released by Jan 2021) It's childish in the way that the tone is lighthearted throughout the series and there's never a doubt that the main characters won't prevail.

Slimes are often considered weak creatures so it's really nice to see a fresh viewpoint, and who knows? We might one day see a spider protagonist in isekai genre.

Additional thoughts

This duo reminds me of the story of red oni and blue Oni 😆😆❇ They are nice characters mhmm

I just wish I could also take part in the anime and flex my op powers..

If you've finished watching this, what's your take on it? Was it good? Did you find it boring? Or was this instantly added to your list of favourite animes? If you disagree with my opinions, feel free to comment your thoughts!

Plot
: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐

I won't go too much into details and spoilers of the web-manga.
The artwork simply stands out among other anime, the art style is similar to My hero Academia but it's less flashier.

The pacing is slow at first and it might be boring depending on your preferences but take your time holding on to this series for it keeps getting better with each episode. The plot is clever and well-written, this just might be one of those anime you'll get obsessed with and you may want to start reading the web manga or manhua before Season 2 is released.

What I really loved is the unpredictability of scenarios, it wasn't like the usual cliché plot where the MC is guaranteed a victory. Also, on another note I felt all of the episodes was just a really long prologue before the main arc was revealed. As far as the story itself goes it is too complex to briefly explain. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. On one hand there are a lot of intricacies in the story, and when you notice them it certainly feels like every little thing lead to this conclusion for a reason. However, it also makes the story hard to follow sometimes.

Nevertheless, the plot is well-written.

Character: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

There are a LOT of characters in this anime with their own individual thoughts and conflicts. I just think there are some issues with how the characters are handled in this series, after a few episodes they become kind of bland. Additionally the fact that there are a LOT of characters is both a good thing and a bad thing, on one hand it leads to the complexity of the plot but it also makes it hard to keep up with the characters that have appeared in the past episodes.

Music: 🌟🌟🌟

I have to say that this is just my very prejudiced opinion. The music was neither good nor bad. The orchestra music was fine, but it wasn't too impactful. It was just a bad straw for me, but you may like it if it suits your preferences.

Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

The anime was nicely done but a lot of comments for character development were skipped out on. So I suggest you read the manhua if you don't want to miss out any details. So..for the final verdict..do I recommend this anime?

Maybe

I can't deny that the plot skipped our certain details from the comic but it can be overlooked since first time viewers probably won't pay much attention to detail. The first few episodes would be confusing for someone who has never read Tower of God so there might be people who'll drop the anime before they get to the amusing part.

But I would really recommend a newcomer to read the manhua before watching the anime, it's better that way.

Plot
:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed this anime, there was never a dull moment. Every episode made me want to watch more. The series is well written and there is hardly a moment that doesn't race the viewer through something truly dramatic, or isn't lending depth, not only to the main character, but almost the entire supporting cast, both friend and foe. The writers are to be commended.

Great direction in how the various scenes are played out, especially the action scenes. And I found the voice acting crew does a great job in helping flesh out the emotional responses and social interactions between all the characters; fine job, indeed. The animation is good too, and the season 2 CCG I'd even better!

You'll find ecchi and fanservice in some parts, but I don't mind it. It was funny to watching for me atleast xD

Character: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Character diversity is amazing and each of them has their own scenes where they are absolute fire! Kudos to Atsushi for handling the characters ❇❇

Music: -

I can't really rate it, the OSTs were good and the OP is fire. I can't really seem to rate it haha

Overall:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

After watching episode 1 I was instantly hooked. It's about a boy who always wanted to become a hero, however one day he suffered a accident that made him lose everything. and now growing up he decided to still hold on to his dream but while becoming a hero he realizes he will need to uncovered the secrets in society. From reading the manga and comparing the animation it's paced really well!

You'll really like this anime if you don't mind a little ecchi

Plot
:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

let's forget about that fanbase here, their toxicity does not influence how good or bad this anime is. Boku no Hero Academia is not like your every shounen anime. This (and One punch man) is kind of "shounen gone american" version, like the concept of superhero society spreading around which is(and I mean it) certainly not a bad thing. We all watch things for something new but once in a while who doesn't like combos (here bit american-japanese).
Izuku Midoriya is your nerd with hell-lot of bravery who wants to become a hero no matter what. SO it's the story of the journey of this boy from being a zero to some ass-kicking-badass-'all-might'y hero......
The universe of My hero Academica is where everybody(almost) have some kind of power or quirk (in anime's terms), now according to their powers they become either heroes or live normally. Now Izuku (I think u already know) is our powerless but passionate wannabe hero, the emotions, the feelings that he carries are one of the +points and is beautifully portrayed. Every hero story needs a rival either in a form of enemy or friend-now here we have Bakugou who is one arrogant prick but yet overwhelmingly powerful, he my friends makes a great rival who is standing on the brink of the pit of evil held by Izuku from the other end. No matter which universe we go we all stay human, hence it is yet another saga of struggle against the odds. Ofcourse (you know) there is also an evil organisation at work who like any other one believes in extermination of all heroes and bring darkness, so what their plan is..>.>(don't worry not tellin) but they still have a big plan they need to execute...so now our Hero Academica will try and stop them..

Character: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐

Izuku is good earnest hero, Bakugou is your 'almost evil'-hero, Todoroki is your 'all powerful yet in pain' hero and many more interesting ones.I've read it's manga first and I think you can see a character more truthfully in it's original form. True, the anime and manga has developed a lot and as more diversed characters are introduced, it gets harder to control them but I think the author has managed to handle it well.

Music: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Music is good, OPs like "The Day" by Porno Graffitti and EDs like "HEROES" by Brian the Sun are awesome Background music in important and fighting scene is badass. But I really like the ED "Long Hope Philia" by Masaki Suda xD

Overall:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If you're wondering why I'm rating this high, it's because I'm a fan of shounen Animes. Not everyone will like this anime. Some will find it childish. Some will drop the series because of the toxicity of the fanbase. Some will read on nevertheless.

My hero academia is basically a mutant world which does not have any hate on mutants and instead forms the hero and villain unions (Magneto would love this)

I'd say this anime has a nice concept. There was never a shadow of doubt that My Hero Academia was slated to divide opinions among fans for all the not quite correct-- but inevitable reasons.

Stars Align

(星合の空, Hoshiai no Sora)

Summary: Constantly outperformed by the girls' club, the boys' soft tennis club faces disbandment due to their poor skills and lack of positive results in matches. In desperate need of members, Toma Shinjou is looking to recruit capable players, but he fails to scout anyone. Enter Maki Katsuragi, a new transfer student who demonstrates great reflexes when he catches a stray cat in his classroom, instantly capturing Toma's attention. With his interest piqued, Toma ambitiously asks Maki to join the boys' team but is quickly rejected, as Maki doesn't wish to join any clubs. Toma refuses to back down and ends up persuading Maki—only under the condition that Toma will pay him for his participation and cover other club expenses.

As Maki joins the team, his incredible form and quick learning allow him to immediately outshine the rest of the team. Although this gives rise to conflict among the boys, Maki challenges and pushes his fellow team members to not only keep up with his seemingly natural talent, but also drive them to devote themselves to the game they once neglected.

This story focuses on the potential of the boys' soft tennis club and their discovery of their own capability, while also enduring personal hardships and dealing with the darker side of growing up in middle school.

First off: I really think this show will be the best this season. From deep characters to an enrapturing story, this original has it all.

STORY: 9
The story of Stars Align is centered around a middle school boy named Katsuragi Maki. He moves schools and gets convinced by his friend to join the school's failing soft tennis club because of his athletic ability, despite never playing soft tennis before. From there, it seems like it will become a generic sports/drama, but there is a darker side to the story which reveals itself after the ending of the first episode, and the show starts touching on conflicts many people are afraid to talk about. On the outside, Katsuragi is a normal student who is part of the soft tennis club, but on the inside, he is a helpless boy, trapped by the trauma of his past.

ART: 7
The art style of this show is decent. The animation and drawing are perfectly fine, yet nothing especially stands out. However, I really enjoy the character design. The bright backgrounds are also very nice-looking, and the OP is animated very well. The ED is also very funny, with rotoscoped dance moves that *cough* "may have" been stolen without the creators' permission *cough*... nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

SOUND: 8
Speaking of OPs and EDs, I really enjoy the sound of this show. The OP and ED are both very good, and the OST is also enjoyable to listen to. The sound design is also decent, and listening to this show is very satisfying with good stereo headphones. The voice acting is also very good, as they hired very capable and established voice actors.

CHARACTER: 9
One of the best aspects of this show is the characters. 8bit was able to craft a variety of interesting characters, from the assertive Katsuragai and Shinjou to the shy Taiyou and Mitsue. The character development is incredible. Each character in the cast has their own unique quirks and troubles. From questioning their own identities, having family troubles, being antisocial, and more, many of the characters are relatable and much of the show is spent developing these characters. I guarantee most of you (regardless of sexuality, race, or situation) reading this review will be able to connect with at least one of the characters in this show. The amount of care put into crafting these characters is apparent, and as I mentioned before, the character designs are amazing.

ENJOYMENT: 10
I really enjoy watching this show. The rollercoaster of emotions I go through in one episode leaves me thinking about it for a while after I watch it. From the rebuilding of the soft tennis club to the darker themes present, I can honestly say that so far I have enjoyed every minute of Stars Align.

OVERALL: 9
As I mentioned before, I really do think this will be the best show of the season. Stars Align is the show I look forward to most the whole week. The combination of the deep story and the amazing character development makes me want to recommend this to everyone. Give this show a try, and make sure you watch the post ED scenes. I promise you you won't regret it.
