Mei walked along the sidewalk of Ba Sing Se through the lower section. She was hungry and quickened her pace to get home in time for dinner. As she passed by the different stalls, her hunger grew. "My father always told her to not eat food from this part of town, but it just looks so good!" She thought to herself.

Sozin ran through the streets of Ba Sing Se, leaping over carts and laughing when he watched as one of his friends slammed into a pole. He turned around, only for his eyes to widen as he slammed into Mei. "Aghh! I'm so sorry? Are you hurt?"


Shomi was walking down the street of Ba Sing Se. Her father was here on a business trip, and he took her along so he could help guide her in training some more. As she took a step foward, she practiced her bending, lifting small pebbles into the air.

"Now I can see why my dad wants be to walk quicker in the lower area," Mei thought to herself. "This is absolute chaos!" She held her bag closer to her as she walked along. After a minute or two, she was getting closer to her home in the middle class area.

She was startled and almost tripped as the stranger chased after her. "Gah! Uhh, hi?" She wasn't exactly the best at social interaction. She clenched the strap of her bag, which had her school stuff along with a scroll sticking out of it.

"Hey. Uhm... I'm sorry if I hurt you when I slammed into you. I didn't mean it." Sozin chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm Sozin, by the way!"


While practicing her earthbending, Shomi accidentally shot a small rock up into the sky. She flinched and started to walk faster to leave the scene. She didn't want to be there when it came back down and hit someone on the head and killed them or something.
