David let out a silent groan as he slowly came to conciousness. His head was pounding as he pushed himself up. "What... happened?" He mumbled, moving to rub at his eyes.

Where...where am I? As Lamia thought those words, a searing sensation hit her mind like an arrow, sending a wave of pain through here body. She closed her eyes, trying to make the pain go away. I've failed, she thought.I've failed.Lamia treated herself pretty roughly... if she didn't know what was going on, or didn't do something right (which she must have, to be in this painful situation)..., well she gave herself a mental scolding. With each thought, another wave of pain seared through her head, like the worst migrane ever.

Quadruped? This didn't make any sense... Lamia's thoughts ran quickly through her head. Her headache slowly improved, but it was still there, hurting her brain at every new thought. Lamia blinked open her eyes, able to see now, and quickly took in her surroundings.

David let out a startled cry as he struggled to move. This was wrong, nothing about this was right. He briefly wondered if he had died, and was reborn as some horrible for legged creature. "No! I can't be dead, I was too young!" He gasped to himself, still struggling to move.

Lamia tries to jump in surprise, but something holds her back, her aches perhaps? This was really strange... she tried to figure out her predicament, to no avail. Lamia's chest tightened from worry as she looked at her back and sides, observing her strange new form...

"A pokemon?" David said aloud, before understanding finally dawned on him. "Oh my gosh, I died and was reborn as a Pokemon wasn't I!" He whined, covering his hands with his paws. While his theory was incorrect, it was the only scenario he could come up with that pleased his distressed mind. "I hope it's at least a good one. One deserving of me." He muttered, looking to find something reflective.

As you look, you see an overall yellow body with a purple, curled main behind your neck and a jagged, blue tail with a spiky ball at the end. There are black markings decorating your entire body, clearing up your identity of one of the legendary beast pokemon, Raikou.

The red brown pokemon had grey paws and black rings on those paws, resembling a big cat or dog pokemon, even with a lack of further inspection.

Lamia's breathing quickened as she looked at herself. A raikou?! How was this possible? She wracked her brain, trying to remember how she'd gotten to this point in her life... and was surprised to find nothing. She couldn't remember any details about her life... only her name, and that she was definetely not a raikou before. She tried to calm herself down by focusing on her surroundings instead of herself, and looked around, wide eyed.

Lamia rushed to the river, finding a puddle nearby. She looked at her face in the reflection. Was this really her? How did this happen? What now? The flurry of questions gave her another small headache. Maybe there were other pokemon around here... though they probably wouldn't help her miserable self. Lamia looked around, finding her sense of smell and hearing were surprisingly strong.

Lamia tenses, anxious to be in this new environment... well there was safety in numbers, assuming said numbers didn't attack her... oh gosh, she didn't even know how to fight or defend herself... Lamia hesitantly padded through the grass, scolding herself mentally as she almost tripped over her new paws.
