"somewhere , just off the shores of alola there's a cave crested with rare and expensive crystals, however.. There is a problem. No pokemon has ever braved to claim one of these priceless gems for their master because of him... the king of snobs. A feisty salandit with off colourations and crystals that grew on his scales. he protects his prized crystals from up high sitting on his throne of rocks , he will protect them with his life, but will you be brave enough to attempt for some for your master?"




you arrive outside of this fabled cave. Its mouth looked like it was filled with sharp teeth, and the gentle pitter patter of dripping water could be heard from inside.. Off in the distance you could of sworn you saw a glinting yellow eye and hear the scraping of claws against rock, however you seem more distracted by the beautiful shine of some of the crystals off in the distance..

Maven admired the beautiful outside decor of the cave. "So, this is the place many others have rumored about, I'm intrigued..." The crystals almost seemed to shine so bright that it could blind someone, but it didn't bother Maven that much. Maven tilted his head "Hmm...I'm slightly curious of what hides in there..."

you could hear the scraping of claws again and it felt like someone was watching you from the shadows with harsh eyes.

One of his feet took a step back as he flinched. "Gah- What was..." He narrowed his eyes, and took a step forward again "Right, I must just be imaging things...am I?" He had a feeling that something was lurking in there. He shook his head, and faced the entrance. He sighed. "Well then, procrastination will get me no where." He started to walk into the entrance, bracing himself for anything inside.

the feeling of being watched seemed to grow on you then disappear , the noise had ceased and there seemed to be no sign of life in the cave. The place was smothered in darkness , there seemed to be mist in the air and as if on cue with your footsteps a torch would light guiding what seemed to be a hidden path.

He looked up at the torchs as he walked futher into the cave. "Hmm, fancy I'll admit. I thought the darkness would swallow me whole. Haha..." Maven cackled. He kept thinking as he went on "I wonder what keeps everyone from getting these gems..." He reminds himself of the sound of scraping claws again. "Was that...real? I feels like nobody and somebody is here at the same time..."

you could of sworn you heard the sound of crystals being pulled from the ceiling and then large diamonds and rubies were falling near you, as if being thrown but missing on purpose.

Maven panicked, what on earth was going on? This wasn't something that you'd see happen any day. At one point while 'avoiding' the attacks, he gazed at one of the gems that were thrown at him. He truly felt like something was behide all of the events in this cave. If there was something, it was a expert to say the least. He attempted to keep moving forward, trying to stay well aware of any other sort of trap or fright.

You could of sworn you heard a raspy cackle coming from behind, in front and from both sides of you but there was nothing but rock and crystals nearby. From the front , however, you could see a pair of yellow eyes watching you from the shadows.

Maven's legs started shaking, and he gulped. Everything that has happened thus far had something in common...they were trying to make trespassers flee out of terror. If they really wanted him dead, they could had hit him with a gem, but he wasn't. The scratching from earlier was quite eerie, but it made sense... "Just...keep going" He took deep breaths, trying to keep himself together although he was in most cases considered a scaredy cat

Maven cawed ouloud, and quickly turned to see behind himself. There it was again, the sounds that terrified him. It sounded like something you'd hear after scraping a chalk board

Maven jumped, trying to get whatever that was off. Well, he wasn't too sure if something was on him to begin with. He cawed in terror "Gah! Leave me alone.."

Maven started to heavily breath, the way back to the entrance was looking like a red carpet right now, but he hadn't come here to give up just yet. He gathered his senses and continued to walk down the tunnel of horrific events.

"Ah...maybe coming here will had been worth it after all..." He tried to block out the scraping sounds, if he reacted he would only please the one who was playing these tricks on him. He kept moving forward, hoping there was a good reason to go though all of this...
