Sign ups: The Awakening and Haven of Beasts

Francis rides through a field with some members of his kingdom. He carries a large sword in his hand, his armor so thick and heavy you'd think it weighed similar to what the old man weighed. The sounds of the horses running were so loud it sounded nearly like gunfire. Behind Francis's horse lays a dead TB (Thunder Bird, it's gonna get annoying to type). The feathers are plucked and divided equally amongst the group. "Victory!" he roars as he raises his bloody sword into the air. Ahead of him are the powerfully high walls of their grand kingdom. Many miles away from that is the poor kingdom. A small stream and a wooden gate is their only defense against this grand kingdom. But their soil is perfect for growing food. They may not have a military, but they never have to worry about empty bellies

Gwen rides next to Francis, she holds up her bag of feathers like a trophy. This, this was power in her hands. It could be sown into armor to become slightly fire-resistant. A few more bags and she could have a full chest plate.

Vex was sitting on a fancy looking seat on her porch. Thier house looked as glorious as ever. Her father raised so much money after killing a large amount of 'creatures'. They looked so vile and ugly...and they would see them everyday. What pesks... "Ugh, I HATE this seat! It's so uncomfortable. Why won't someone go get me a better one!" she hollered in disgust.

Sol was asleep at the base of him and his kind. Everyday one of them was killed...or missing...or used like furniture. His comrades hunted forest prey as he slept. They made one big pile of prey to share around.

"Hey, wanna come in this trash can with me?"

Shadow explored the infinite forest that he called home. He enjoyed it here, it was peaceful and he could easily hide if needed. Being one of the only ones of his kind, he didn’t have to worry about competition. Besides, he could prowl the streets of both kingdoms for food and killing those who noticed him. Well, maybe not kill but do some magic. He hopped over the rocks of the river, traveling deeper and deeper into the mysterious wood. He couldn’t stop thinking about it. What was it like to be around humans without worry of being hunted? Should he go out more? He could easily defend himself if needed, so why didn’t he go? He huffed out a small breath and stopped right at the base of a tree.

Madrial was sitting in a dark room, enjoying the pleasure of being alone and be to himself. He pulled a knife out of thin air (not really) and threw it at the wall. He enjoyed this, it helped him keep focus on one thought.

Amy was roaming the streets, her clothes dripping wet after being pushed into a river that was close to the kingdom. She sighed as she walked, trying to find someone with a towel they were willing to share.

"Hmp!" Vex pouted, making it clear to the nearby servant that she need his service. The servant rushed back into the house with a much suitable chair for her. She sits down on the new chair and doesn't bother to say 'thank you'. Instead, came more complaints. "Heeeello? Get me some tea before I ask Dad to kick ya' in the shins, or worse." She clapped her hands, as this gesture tells him to move now

"Hey, wanna come in this trash can with me?"

He frowned, seeing that he was off target. He sighed and clapped his hands. “Anyone want to give me a f***ing hand?” He said, annoyed. He heard scurrying footsteps coming towards the door. “Y-yes sir?” A small voice said, clearly scared. “Get in here, b****!” He yelled. Rattling noises could be heard from the doorknob, then the voice spoke again. “Sir it’s-“ she was stopped by a gunshot from a revolver. A large thump was heard. “Don’t tell me what I already know.” He growled, not even looking at the door, then putting the revolver up. After a few seconds, he groaned. “Oops, guess that kills them.” He chuckled and clapped again.

Sage walks around the streets carefully. Her green dress blowing in the wind. She walks strong, regardless of her age. She glances over at Amy. She can't help smile at the younger girl. "What happened to you child?" She glances around at everyone. They are all busy at work tending the gardens or live stalk.

Both Francis and Gwen ride into the kingdom. They sell the TB off to the nearby butcher, pocketing the cash eagerly. They both ride off on their separate ways. Gwen rides through the streets. She watches everyone as she passes. She likes to people watch, it's interesting what she'll see.

Balin cries out into the sky. A rumble of thunder sounds with each cry. It shakes the mountain. The hundreds of nest shaking with each boom. The females, who are laying on their eggs look up in surprise, their feathered ruffled in shock. Another one of his children died to the hands of the humans. His eyes glow white as she prepares a huge volt of thunder, about to release his wrath. But he stops when he notices something. A glance into the future? He the volt with a simple snap of his mighty wings.

Serena woke up to the sun rising”Oh,is it morning already?”Serena got out of bed and went out to make breakfast,”Can all the residents of the kingdom go to the meeting area at 8a.m.?””That’s strange”Serena thought”usually special occasion do they went there,but today isn’t any special”Serena shrug and went to the meeting area anyways

The residents were chatting about why they were they when the elders of the kingdom walked up the stage”good morning everyone,I’m sure you’re all wondering why you’re here today,well that’s because the kingdom is running low on food,so we need everyone,even the younger residents to kill some beast for some meat to eat”the guards handed everyone a sword”Those who does not kill will have no food for the rest of the month,now you may go to the forest to slain the beast now”the elders said

Serena have no choice to kill them,despite not wanting to,she still need to eat after all

"Y-Yes'm...anything for you..." The servant was trembling, he feared this little girl. "Ugh. Dad gets getting these stupid hobos to serve me. I wish he would get me a real man." She gave the servant a disgusting look "Your little broke arse will get you nowhere serving me. Now stop standing there before I have you pinned on the ground under my foot!"

She turned to face her, a nervous smile was plastered on her face. “I-I fell into the water...” she chuckled before stopping. “Do you by any chance have something I can dry off with?” She asked.

A small gasp was heard from the other side, but it was quickly silenced. “Y-yes sir?” She asked nervously. She waited for the door to be opened, but her entire body was shaking. She knew what would happen next. Madrial got up and unlocked the door, then opened it. “Come here.”

While their kingdom was mighty powerful, there was still a lower class. They were easy to make out. They had torn clothes and were usually very thin. A small girl stares up at Gwen, her brother nearby, he clutches his sister's arm in worry. It was clear Gwen was a high rank, she was not only a military personal but she had lots of cash. She glances around, but people are too busy in their own lives to notice her and the kids. "Please let's just go" the brother frantically whispers. "Wait!" Gwen stops the girl. She passes down a few coins to the kids. "Take this.. please" the girl eagerly grabs it, a huge grin on her face. "Thank you!" The girl calls out as Gwen rides away.

Francis makes it over to his mansion. Being the elder of the kingdom, he has the largest house here. Servants tremble before him as he storms into the mansion. He throws his gear at a poor girl, who is too young to be at work. He rolls his eyes as he passes her. She struggles to carry the weight of only one piece of the armor. "She won't serve any use to use" he mutters as he walks into his room.

Sage smiles. "Of course young one, come with me" she practically drifts as she walks. She hums softly to herself as they reach her hut. Other than Francis, Sage had one of the smallest houses here. She preferred to be closer to nature. She grabs a towel and tosses it at Amy. "Take it. I have plenty"

Serena has been wondering in the forest for awhile,she has not seen a single beast,she found a river with a fruit tree near it and decided to rest there for awhile,she suddenly saw a few shadows lurking by,”they must be beasts!” Serena thought,she grab her sword and headed towards the shadow

After Vex was served some tea, she went back inside to her father. "Daaaaaaad the servant was being stupid again!" She complained "Hmm...I suppose we'll throw him back on the streets, but I won't give you another servant for another month" he said, not even looking at her. He didn't really care at this point. "Uuuuugh fine I'll keep him. But I'm going for a walk! In the woods!" Her father paid no mind, as she headed out. She May be a spoiled brat, but sometimes she liked the forest. She sat by a tree, still pouting from her dad's remark.

“Thanks.” She wiped her face off and looked around, still having a smile on her face. She was curious about other people, so she liked to talk a lot. “So, what’s your name?” She asked.

Before she could even react. Madrial grabbed her by the little clothing she had and dragged her into the room, then locked the door. He looked at her with a small, devious grin. “I’m feeling generous today. You get a choice. 1, you help with my target practice or 2, you do something else.” He held his fingers up as he said the numbers before placing his hands on his hips. She gulped, knowing what both of them meant. One resulted in a large and terrifying mental scar, and the other resulted in death.

Serena ran towards the shadow,just before she she saw a random bird flu away,”just another bird”Serena got up and wonder around the forest,after some time she saw another shadow,she hid behind a bush just to realise it was someone else,someone that was not from her kingdom,”What are you doing out here?its dangerous”Serena said to Vex

Sage laughs at this comment. "My name is Sage, I am your kingdom's elder" she explains. "What's yours?" She asks as she sits down on the outdoor chair. She liked it when the youth took interest in chatting. These days everyone was so busy working they hardly at time to talk with her.

Francis sighs as the kingdom's treasurer moves over towards him. He hands him the papers, which show that there is now an increase in the poor. "Hmm. I've been meaning to collect our taxes from the other kingdom anyway" he grabs his horse and heads towards the poor kingdom. He grins, enjoying the idea of being able to annoy Sage. Guards ride next to him.

Gwen pauses by Madrial's house. She feels bad for his servants. If it were possible he treats them way worse than anyone else she knows. She grins to herself, an idea forming in her head. She slides off of her steed and moves towards the door. She fiddles with her armor as she walks, wanting to look professional. She knocks on his door

"Nobody cares about what you think, dumba**" She contenued to whine.

Nearby, a Griffin was watching Vex and Selena. It flew down, and faced Selena. This very much startled Vex "AAAAH GET AWAY GET AWAY GET AWAY!" she screamed, the Griffin looked and her, and turned it's head in a confused manner. "Ewww look at it's face! I'm going home!" She started to run back home, leaving Selena alone.

Shadow paused when he felt 2 people enter the forest. One had a more hostile vibe, while the other seemed a bit more neutral. He narrowed his eyes and slowly weaves through the trees, trying to find them.

The servant began to shake even more, not wanting to make the decision. “T-Target practice?” She whimpered, trying to hide herself in the corner. He thought for a bit, not caring about her answer. Should he actually be nice for once and let her do her choice, or do what he wanted? He decided to do the latter. “How about no.” He grinned. Upon hearing the knock, he immediately clapped his fingers. “Get the door Jen!” He yelled.

“Really? That’s really neat!” She held out her hand for a handshake. “I’m Amy, just an average citizen.”

Shadow cocked his head when he saw the griffin. He never saw a griffin here before...
