UNESSASSERY POSTS WITH NO MEANING WHAT SO EVER. I SORRY, BUT THIS GETS ON MY NERVES.
Example: (calling no names, since that would be just mean). Posting your game records. Someone can go on your profile and see that. THERE IS NO NEED TO POST IT. THERE IS NO NEED TO POST WITH THEM. THERE IS NO NEED.

Today's Rant: Mary Sues! (And Gary Stus)

Allow me to put it like this. In a Roleplay, these types of characters mess with the overall balance of good and bad. If the Mary Sue was on the side of the good for example, and a conflict appears, the Mary Sue will instantly stop the conflict. This breaks the balance of good and bad and makes the story dull. Same for the side of evil too. If the Mary Sue was perhaps evil, and a solution to the current conflict appears, they will stop this and the bad guy would be unstoppable.

People who have characters like these likely don't understand how annoying this is. I want to encourage the idea of a balanced character, with some flaws, but good sides too. That way the good and bad will be equal and the story is enjoyable.

My Luck!

Rather than talking about other things, let's talk about me today. Well if there's one thing about me, I just think I have rotten luck. To flipping the coin or a simple game of chance, the odds likely aren't in my favor. This is why I prefer effort more, at least then you might know what you get! I mean like studying for a test. If you study you know you will ace it (unless the test is crap). If you don't study what do you do? Guess. Not only that you can be wrong and unlucky, but it also just doesn't feel as rewarding. What? Talking about the Search for Gold Badge? Never....

Chances are, no matter how much I want a male shiny combee, I'll likely get a female. Such is my luck. By the way I officially hate combee now.

Now I'm not saying you absolutely must do things. I know, you do you. But I think this would help for the time that we don't have a mute feed feature. This is....

Probably should and shouldn't do's when you post a feed!

Number 1: Repeat feeds
Look, I totally don't mind your own advertisement. But for the love of Arceus, don't post a new thing about it every 10 minutes or so. This can actually apply to any type of feed. Please, I don't want to look in my notifications everytime just to see advertisement.

Number 2: "Can u warm my egg"/"Can I get some PD?"
No, no you are not going to get these things just by making these posts. Some people started from bottom just like you, or are already struggling like you. If you don't like a game that doesn't hold your hand then this website likely isn't for you. Oh and newbie or not, no, you don't need to be making this kinda post.

Number 3: Guys how do I do ______
Even I've been guilty of this before. But you see, forums exist for a reason! I don't think these feeds are needed unless you are having a real hard time finding what you need. And even at that, you may also wanna go to the help thread.

Ok well I honestly can't think of anymore rn, so uh on a side note I did hatch shiny combee (male)
