Is that a thing? Can I breed two pokémon together to get a retro mon? I'm assuming it would work like breeding event pokemon where you rarely get that event egg.

Retro pokemon can't breed. However, because of this, whenever you hatch a retro egg, its twice (I think) as likely to be shiny than other regular pokes.
