After a minute or two of trying to get Tray to get out of bed, he stopped and decided to lay back down and watch everyone. He wanted to help Tray talk to people, but she wouldn’t. She needed someone to talk to, it was obvious. He whimpered quietly as he thought about Tray. If she needed help, why didn’t she want it? Why did she push everyone away? It was a pain just to get her here, and now he had another task

Marie suddenly yipped, Arishamel had landed on her back, his claws sinking into her skin. She reared up to throw the huge bird off of her, and Zuki rushed over to separate the fight.

Immediately, the grey wolf gently sank his fangs into the scruff of Arishamel’s neck, so as not to hurt the bird, and tugged in the opposite direction, growling a bit with the effort.

Sylphid snarled and lunged at Kodiak. He would have sunken his fangs into the wolf's neck if not for Queen who saw what his guide was about to do. "Sylphid!" Queen barked harshly, throwing the nearest object at his guide. This happened to be a hairbrush that smacked the viper right on the snout. With a spitting hiss, Sylphid reared back and glowered at Kodiak. It was plain rude to touch someone without their permission and Sylphid firmly believed in consent first. Slinking back to Queen's side after a Stern gaze, the large snake crawled up his guardian before nestling in a bundle around Queen's shoulders. "Sorry about him." Queen mumbled, voice thick with exhaustion. "He's a bit cranky in the mornings."

Arishamel screeched, flapping his wings frantically. Marie grumbled and moved back towards Zuki, hiding behind her.

Kodiak let out a low growl and promptly released Arishamel from his grasp when he saw the large Fox Marie scramble away. He stepped back sternly, seeing that his point had been made. The fur on his neck ruffled, and the gray wolf agilely leapt from the range of Sylphid when he lunged. The poor wolf gave a series of whines and low barks, startled out of his wits. He had never been fond of snakes, but then again, he didn’t quite understand why the snake couldn’t accept such…irony. To touch others without their permission was a pet peeve of Sylphid’s for sure, but hadn’t that entitled hawk-like bird just done that? He returned the viper’s stare with his own, hackles raised defiantly.

“All is forgiven.” At the soothing voice of his Guardian, who had been standing in the doorframe, Kodiak calmed. “We’re all wound up in the mornings Alraune.” Kela’s white hair was combed neatly, after some time of tugging it straight. She gave Alraune a soothing pat on the shoulder before returning her attention to the group as a whole. “Is anybody hurt?” The snow-haired girl cast a gaze around the rather rumpled room.

Tray shuffled a bit in her bed, trying to block out the sound with her pillow, being as unnoticeable as she could be. Timbow let out a sharp, loud bark to try to get everyone to stop. He hated the noise and the fighting, but he couldn’t just butt in

Queen's face twisted into a grimace at the pat but nodded. He wasn't one to cause trouble dispite what his guide may seem. Sylphid hissed from his position wrapped around Queen's neck and shoulders and his forked tounge tasted the air. He had calmed down from the adrenaline rushing through his coiled form.

"If everyone has calmed down, I will take my leave. Sylphid has caused too much trouble already." Queen murmured, ducking out towards the showers. The snake made a move to slide off Queen's body and slither back into the barracks but Queen held up a hand before his guide's snout. "Peace, Syl." He sighed. "I'm fine, see? There's no need to fight anymore. All is well." Very slowly so Sylphid could twist out of the way if he wished, Queen gently placed his hands over Sylphid's coiled body.

Calling her wolf to her, Kela bid her own leave with a simple once-over again. They knew where to find the medic if they needed her. With Kodiak following her, she shyly ducked around Queen and headed for the mess hall.

One of the mentors was alone on the path, his blonde hair pulled away from his face in a small bun, revealing his white runes. He had a journal in his hands, and wrote something down. He was pale, despite his naturally tan skin tone.

Once most everyone seemed to leave, Tray slowly sat up and began to pet Timbow. She decided to at least look decent, not look like a homeless kid. She got up and brushed her hair, then put on some jeans, a plain white shirt, and a blue jacket. She put her mask on carefully, trying not to get it caught in some of her hair. She didn’t even know why she wore the mask.

Walking out of the showers, hair now a pink puff of soft strands, Queen yawned and Sylphid mimicked the motion. The warm water had done nothing to wake the male up and Queen still felt like he could sleep another hour or so. Dressed in his regular skin tight shirt that hid his runes quite well and a thin jacket, Queen shuffled back towards the barracks. "Syl you have to stop picking fights with others." He mumbled, rubbing an eye sleepily. A low purr sounded from his guide, alerting Queen to the mentor standing by the path.

Gerald’s wolf sat at his feet, the sickly looking beast starting to doze. Gerald was quiet, still writing. There was a sudden loud snap as his pencil tip broke, and his runes glowed with the startle.

Tray glanced over to the snake and the male. So that’s what I heard... She turned back to face her handheld mirror that she laid down on her lap. She became disappointed at her own reflection, knowing she could’ve been better. The weird scar on her left jawbone close to her ear made her sigh as she looked at it longer. What was she doing here? Timbow nudged his muzzle against her arm, noticing that she was sad.

Queen swallowed down a small squeak when the pencil broke. Assuming that the mentor was mad, Queen shuddered and unconsciously reached up to grasp at Sylphid for reassurance. His guide however, let out a spitting hiss. He wasn't going to let anyone touch him without expressed permission. Not even his own guardian

She sighed, decided not to dwell on the past or whatever. She put her stuff up and folded the blanket she had, as she didn’t like to sleep under the covers. She decided to walk around the baracks, find something to do. She hoped no one would talk to her, or even notice her, but they probably would.

"Yes, sir! Sorry sir!" Queen yelped, hands latching onto his jacket zipper when Sylphid hissed again. He also quickly averted his eyes for good measure, scuffing the ground with his boots. If Sylphid could, he would be rolling his eyes so hard that even he'd get dizzy. He sometimes wondered why Queen was still slightly scared of authority figures even after all this time.
