ThistleStar was dreaming. She saw the LeafClan Leaders of old and spoke to her mother. When she got up, she walked out of her den to see her deputy, SilverSpeckle, ordering patrols.

SilverSpeckle was stressed out, she had no warriord to help with patrols because of a sickness. The only warrior had done all the patrols and so had she and her leader. he admired VixShine in many ways but felt bad for givinng him so much work.

Vixshine was about to pass out. He had done a massiveamount of hunting and patroling since so many of his clanmates were sick.

As she padded towards the entrance to camp her heard paw steps. It was Thornpaw. "ThistleSilver wants you." Was all the breathless apprentice could say. "I'm coming, where is she?" "Twolegplace"

Amberstorm was pacing. She was waiting for Dimpaw to get ready for one of their many patrols.

Redstar was patrolling the border by herself. She knew that it was dangerous due to her losing a life by doing so but with almost her whole clan sick or injured she knew she had to.

Dimpaw rushed out of the den. "Sorry I'm late Amberstorm!" He said in a rush.

Redstar returned to camp. "You two going hunting?" She asked Amberstorm.

Amberstorm nodded. "We were also going to see if we can help gather herbs."

Dimpaw raced towards the camp entrance. "Can we go now?" He asked impatiently.

"SilverSpeckle , have Heartfelt and Moonpaw do a patrol. Our warriors are sick." ThistleStar commanded. "Yes, ThistleStar. HEARTFELT, MOONPAW GET OVER HERE." the two she-cats padded out of there den and walked over. "You know what to do," SilverSpeckle said. The cats nodded and padded off.

Every warrior was sick. "I'm going hunting" she told her leader. "Good Idea." ThistleStar said,"I'm going to take the apprentices out and patrol the borders." and without another word padded into the apprentices den.

Moonpaw

"I'm tired." she said. "I'm going to my nest." Her mentor nodded and stepped out of camp.
"Every warrior is sick. What am I going to do?" she heard SilverSpeckle mutter. Moonpaw was startled. She didn't know the sickness was that bad! "SaturnFeather must be working overtime" she thought.

Redstar walked into Thornberry's den. "Have you found anything yet? I'm starting to get worried with how many are sick..."

Thornberry sighed. "I might have found something..." She looked at her sister. "How's Dimpaw doing? I know how upset he was when Shiverpaw got sick..." Redstar sighed. "He's alright but I can somewhat tell he is still upset..."

Dimpaw and Amberstorm were patroling as well as hunting. "Do you think Shiverpaw will get better?" Dimpaw asked. Amberstorm sighed. "I don't know Dimpaw... Her life is in Starclan's paws right now..."

Thornberry sighed and looked over at the sick she-cat. Shiverpaw had been one of the first cats to get sick and was almost never conscious.

Redstar gave her sister a comforting nudge and went back outside to go hunt.

Dimpaw and Amberstorm reached the edge of their territory. They placed the scent markers and got ready to go back to camp. Dimpaw had caught a vole and Amberstorm caught a thrush.

Redstar was pacing in the middle of the camp.
