"Of course, that was four years ago, who knows? She might be dead as the virus could've wiped her out." Dr. Money went on. Several people were booing now, not at him, but rather this mystery Faith woman. From Flay's line of sight she saw Dabria frown, as if thinking.

Blue shook her head, her parents weren't really fond of Dr. Money when they were alive and avoided speaking about it him if she was near by. "I dont think he's telling the whole truth, about Faith, like he's hiding something."

"But this virus that struck. . .wasn't it because of your making?" A random gruff looking male questioned rather harshly. "You did have the anitdote that killed people after all!"

Dr. Money, who somehow still had a smile on his face, didn't let the smile falter just the slightest. "Now now, why would I, Doctor Money, do such a thing to threaten all of humanity?"

"Because you're an egotistical *no-no word here* who only wants money!" The same male shot back. "Maybe this Faith person had the right idea!"

There was a short pause before suddenly Dr. Money's smile faded from a smile to a scowl and he snapped his fingers with a free hand. One of the bouncers went to where this man was and dragged him from the crowd to the stage, forcing him on his knees in front of everyone.

Blue felt the color drain from her face and clung tighter to Flay, she didn't want to watch this man die. Hadn't enough people died already?

Her eyes narrowed and she scowled. Why was the Doctor doing this? Couldn’t he just let him go, show the crowd that he is a “good man?” A small part of her was still thinking about where she heard of Faith, and another was thinking about Dabria. But her anger clouded these thoughts. “Blue, you’re right, he isn’t.” She looked at her with a reassuring look in her eyes. She could try and save the man, but... no, it was too risky.

"Under normal circum stances I, Dotcor Money and not a violent man, I'd rather just foget some of these things. In fact under normal circumstances, I would turn the other cheek and find a peaceful way to reslove this. However that being said, if there's one thing I won't tollerate it's a tratior who commits treason." His voice had changed from calm and asuring to angry and strict in a heartbeat. Doctor Money's eyes gazed at the crowd from behind his hat brim before locking on to Flay and Blue, a chill shot through them. "Young lady, come here please." The voice had changed again from his previous tone to an almost sickly sweet coo.

Flay realized that he wasn't talking to her but rather the scare eight year-old clinging to her, and when she looked at Blue, it was clear that Blue didn't want to go anywhere near him.

“She’s not going!” Flay yelled. She strangely wanted to protect her with her life, something she would only do for one other person. “What’s your problem anyway? You don’t get to decide if he was a traitor. To me, it seems like he did nothing for you, or with you.” Her voice became deadly serious, and her anger levels were through the roof. She was also scared out of her mind. Not for her, but for Blue.

"Very well." His smile became slightly wider, as if entertained by Flay's selflessness to protect Blue. "I'll just settle for you instead." The other bouncer was suddenly on Flay and yanked Blue from her and dragged Flay up to the stand by her arm. When they got there Flay jerked her arm away only to be greeted with a hard slap that knocked her to the stage floor. All she could do was wait for the next slap but it didn't happen, the bouncer's arm had been stopped by Dr. Money's cane.

"Now now Bruce, what have we said about harming the remaining civilains?" Dr. Money questioned, and the said bouncer took a stap back and nodded, agknowledging he was out of line. Dr. Money turned back to Flay and with uttermost care gently helped her to her feet as if she was made of the finest china. "What is your name, young lady?"

Flay rubbed the area she was slapped. She hesitated. “Flavery.” She was about ready to punch him in the gut, and the one called Bruce as well. She looked at Blue in the crowd, worried about her. What if he had bodyguards roaming the crowds?

"Say you have everything you wanted set up to restore all human life. . . .then one single person comes along and knocks it all down. . .what would you do Flavery? Would you hunt them down and get revenge on them? Or would you find it within yourself to somehow forgive them. . .even if it meant your own death?" Dr. Money gestured his cane and pointed at man who was still on the stage. "But most importantly, what do you regard for people who suport criminals who comiit treason?"

(Basicly he's refering to Faith escaping when she was the allged "last hope" for man kind, or him at least. If Faith hand't of left, he would've harvested her organs which had the only working anitdote in her bloodstream. Buuuuuuuuut Flay dont know that. . .yet. And he's asking if Flay would kill one person to save the lives of many.)

Flay thought for a minute. This should’ve been an easy answer, of course you would kill them or imprison them. If Dr. Money decided... No, that would be impossible... “Sir, the right punishment would be death. In this case, I wouldn’t believe so. That man is just saying his concerns about this, he’s been through a tough 3 years. We all have.”

Dr. Money nodded as he weighed her words with utter most care. "True." He waved a hand at the man, who got up and shot him a dirty look then a grateful one at Flay as he left. He motioned Fley to leave but as she did he grabed her arm gently then whispered just loud enough for her to hear. "Our town's surival is on a slipery slope, tread carefully, Flavery." Dr. Money then released her arm and she rejoined Blue, who hugged her in relief.

The speach ended eventually with his orders as new mayor (since the old mayor died from the virus) to resume their life as pre ussual. Kids would go to school, adults would make jobs/trades, and for the time being since there wasn't any money to around, payment would be trading goods with eachother. And while it seemed a bit far fetched, it was all the people could do for now as they tried to rebuild their lives from scratch.

Deep in the woods a bit from the town, there was a small house made of stone that had been over looked by society. This house was claimed by Faith and her daughter Hope. Both were now sleeping, resting up for later that day.

Blue nodded, holding onto Flay's hand. Blue knew she couldn't go to her own home, she had seen her parents' bodies being taken out and them putting some sort of tape up there to prevent people from going in, which also meant that she couldn't get her belongings. Or at least not now and hopefully later, otherwise this plushie was the last thing she had to remeber them by.

“Alright, come on.” She smiled and walked to her house. She put her hand on the door handle and pushed it open. She walked inside and set out a chair for Blue. She looked at her table and saw that she left the knife there, still stained. She flicked her hand and it went into the drawer

Blue hadn't noticed the knife on the table or Flay putting it back into the drawer, she was tired and hungry, only she didn't know wether to sleep or eat first. Blue gave a small yawn and rubbed her eye with a free hand as her plushie claimed the other hand.

(I'm going to bed, I gotta work 6:30 - 1:30, you can respond if you want but I wont get back to you right away tonight. Night!)

Flay let out a sigh of relief and pulled out a small meal out of her fridge. “Want some?” She asked.

She took the food out of the package and put it in the microwave. She waited for it to be finished, then set it on a table in front of Blue. She had lunch before the presentation, so she didn’t make anything for herself

Blue sat down in front of the table and began eatting, the wonderful aroma triggered the child's hunger, it took everything she had not to shovel it all down. When the food was empty she gave another yawn and ended up crashing at the table, her head on the surface fast asleep. Blue was exhausted.

After coming back from her room, she noticed Blue was asleep. She smiled and got a blanket and draped it over her. She sat down on her small couch.
