Dust blew off from the front paneling of the book, a poorly done etching on the front cover of it. I ran my thumb over the letters, only making out a few "s" and other lines that appeared to be letters. Opening it, I claimed the journal as my own, only a few notes left in it from the previous owner... "Nothing like ripping a few pages out doesn't mean it's tattered," I thought to myself.
