"Telekinetic? He could move stuff with his mind?" Pinku blinks, then shakes his head. "Never mind. Sorry. Um, I guess I've kept you both up enough. I can't sleep, so I'll just go sit in a closet or something."

Azumaya slides into Black's lap purring something warmly. "I know, I know." Black sighs, petting the purring russet-furred molly, "This is Azumaya, she's my cat. Her name is Japanese for Russet."

Another brief moment of brightness, and Pinku's eyes sparkle.

"Aw, it's a kitty!" He floats closer and runs his warm hands down Azumaya's back with a gleeful smile. "Soft. She's soft."

New Form!

Name: Baioretto Ouma
Age: Looks 16, much younger due to being a clone.
Appearance: Same as Pinku, but in a violet shade. He is a cold spirit, unlike Pinku, making his presence easier known.
Personality: Baioretto is a vengeful spirit out to haunt, while Pinku is a kind spirit aiming to protect. Baioretto never lost his insanity, but he learnt how to tone it down. Though, he can't help but give Kokichi, his original, nightmares.


Pinku simply giggles, before he starts wavering. His color dulls, and something wispy and violet seeps from the floor. It curls like smoke before forming a Kokichi. Baioretto.

The warm spirit blocks Kuro and glows brightly, as if by instinct. Also by instinct, the cold spirit hisses as the light touches his dull purple body.

"Oh, how rude. Is that any way to treat your baby brother?" Baioretto purrs, slinking around Pinku to get a glimpse of Kuro. "How's that leg faring, Kuro-chan? Was Shinigami too rough with you?"

"What are you doing here?" Pinku asks with a newfound seriousness.

"Same as you, Hotopinku. I'm just here to see my family."

The coldness in the room only grows, as does the plum-colored darkness enveloping Pinku.

(Harumaki cannot see any of this going on, but she can feel the coldness. The only side of the conversation she can hear is Pinku's.)

Pinku stammers, trying to glow brighter as Baioretto draws near. "You...you can't-"

Baioretto erupts with giggles. High-pitched, insane giggles that make Pinku want to rip his own ears off. "They can't see me! Some guardian you are, Hotopinku. You're nothing but a pathetic child! I could kill you right here, my lamp of a brother, but I'll let you off. For now. Tormenting Kokichi is just too tempting, and I only have a few hours of darkness left!~"

And with that, the darkness and cold subside as Baioretto sinks into the floor with a nightmarish grin. Pinku wastes no time trying to heat up the others and chase away the last wisps of purple smoke that only the warm spirit could detect.

Only once the others are safe does Pinku break down. The pink tinted tears flood down his face as he wails in a particularly ghostly manner.

Pinku, being upset, seems to waver in and out of existence before he begins calming down. "I knew there was a reason for me to see you guys! I didn't want it to be h-him!"

He nods with a sniffle. "Yeah, he's gone. From here. He's gonna go do something to Kokichi now!"

The flickering increases. He's not happy, but he's trying to be. "I need to help him, Haru-chan! I need to go stop him before he..."

He doesn't sleep, but he turns into a puff of pink smoke. He's overworked himself, and it will take a bit before he reforms.

Even as smoke, Harumaki finds, Pinku is warm.

Upon reforming, something inside Pinku snaps, and he glares at Harumaki. His color is very dull. "You couldn't see him. You think Kirumi and Maki can?"

"No, I'm sorry. That was an accident..." Pinku calms down, his color less dull.


Meanwhile, Kokichi wakes up in agony. He's tearing his hair out and screaming when Kirumi runs into his bedroom, restraining his hands. "What happened, Kokichi? You can tell me."

"Nightmare."

"Nightmare? Of what?"

Kokichi gives her a look that says too much. The maid sighs and holds him in a comforting embrace. "He's dead and gone. You know this."

"He came from the floor. It was dark, Kirumi. So dark, and so cold..."

Kirumi freezes, staring at him. "Cold? Kokichi, I thought-"

"Both kinds of cold."

The lack of calling her 'mom' concerned Kirumi, but she was more concerned by what Kokichi had described. Both kinds of cold?

If only Himiko were alive. Perhaps she could have helped...
