So, I don’t have much to say about this. I’ve seen other people talk about it. You can’t post on it. You can’t see the user. Nothing. It says 48 years ago with no comments, yet somehow gets into the trending posts. I’ve heard other reports, it’s only ever been in trending posts. This is most confusing.

I believe the reason this occurs is because that feed was deleted for one reason or another , typically because the original poster decided they didn't need the feed anymore. An example of when this might occur is a giveaway feed: once the giveaway is over, the OP deletes the feed so people don't post in it anymore. It's in the trending feeds because a lot of people posted in it while it was still active!

It takes a while for the trending feeds to update, so it will eventually go away.

If I remember correctly, it's a "default" time for content that doesn't have a proper timestamp associated with it (because the feed was deleted, the previous timestamp doesn't exist either).

I've seen similar things happen on sites where there was a server crash, saying users registered years before the site even opened, etc. So the feed wasn't made 48 years ago, that's just what the system defaults to when it doesn't know what the original time was.
