WELCOME TO POKE'VERSITY! A school where trainers aged 10 through 18 learn the tricks of the trade when it comes to battling.

A faint, chilly scent of berries taints the air; you've been walking for a while, and have been travelling even longer. A few months back, you had received a package in the post offering you a full-paid scholarship to the most prestigious battling school in the country - Poke'versity. The package included a student ID, as well as a plethora of forms and vouchers. When first receiving the package, your imagination soared, filing your head with ideas and images of you as a pokemon trainer, perhaps even owning your very own gym- or better a member of the Elite Four.
Gym leader training was really what students tended to specialize in, having to choose a pokemon type upon entry. However, many different majors were offered in the university, ranging from Pokemon Center training to general care to even breeding!
As you approach what finally seems to be the campus, you let out a relieved sigh. You wipe your brow and tread further. You decide to re-read the forms you filled out:

Majors in the Study of the Genetic Makeup of Pokémon, and has a special interest in Water and Dark Pokémon.
Personality -
Amane is considered by her parents to be an extremely driven and determined young adult. With this though, comes with Amane being somewhat sensitive, and pretty literal. She’s spent most of her school years excluded; whether it was by her choice or she was just not able to fit in, no one really knows. Amane can come off as reserved and hostile, but everyone around her believes that it’s because she’d rather become a Pioneer in the Pokéworld instead of retaining strong friendships. Her parents hope that in Sending her to Poké’versity will assist in her social life, along with the ability for Amane to Further her studies. She has a special connection with Pokémon, and she thinks it’s because they are capable of picking up on things that other humans can’t. She was 5 years old when her parents brought home an injured Eevee, and she assisted in nursing it back to health. Since then, Amane has taken a keen interest into how Pokèmon can share an element type, but have completely unrelated genetic makeup. Amane personally believes that she hasn’t met anyone who can match her intellegience or interest, and That by going to an eliete school, she’ll be surrounded by likeminded people.
Appearance -
Amane gets her looks mostly from her father, adopting the thick, chocolate brown hair and cool blue eyes. She has her mother’s skin though, which is nearly porecelian, save for a circular- shaped birthmark on the back of her right elbow. She’s also prone to sunburns, and generally has sensitive skin. Being a 14 year old , Amane has just started taking an interest in how she presents herself, and wears a fairly light amount of makeup. She enjoys the simple things, and would pick solid, sensible colours for her wardrobe. Her favourite colour is dusty rose, and can be seen wearing at least ONE item in that colour. She has a small, white scar underneath her left eyebrow, from when she was trying to bathe her pet Eevee. Amane prefers her hair to be at medium length, so it spills just past her shoulders. She’s extremely insecure about her legs, and avoids wearing skirts or dresses as much as she can. Amane has a petite figure, and finds it a struggle to wear bare- legged clothes.

Fun facts -
•Amane is double-jointed in her left wrist.
•Amane enjoys tea, music, and art. She can be found doodling or working on a side project when she’s not studying or doing research.
•Amane collects books. She loves them.
•Amane’s biggest pet peeve is when someone acts like they know more than her, or refuse to be open- minded.
• Amane has an irrational fear of bird- type Pokémon. A wild pidgey attacked her when she was a child.
