Marcus stood at the side of the bridge, staring out at the vast ocean. He sighed as he watched the waves gently lapping the shore. His bow and quiver hung on his back and his daggers on a table next to him. He wanted someone to talk to. His parents had died and he was left alone. Alone in this world full of dinosaurs and survival.
In the distance he could hear the wailing of a Brachiosaurus and the faint roaring of some large therapod carnivore. His necklace hung by his neck, glowing faintly in the moonlight.

joshua was watching the sky, as he was laying down. his gun was in his hand, as usual. he never took it out of his hand. "...hey, do you think we can survive?"

"I hope so... but it'll be hard.. especially with only us 2.." He replied, briefly looking down at him before gazing back out over the ocean. After a long silence he continued "They're breeding even faster than when they were on that island... it's the fact they can do whatever they want and they have very few threats.. and we're just another thing to hunt and eat so they can survive... but yes, I think we can survive" he smiled at Joshua and then muttered "Gods of Olympus, I hope we do"

He grimaced "I know what it's like.. I was in a group with 10 or so people. 1 night, they came. A pack of deinonychus attacked our camp and killed half the people outright. I ran for my life along with my parents. We split ways. I came back the next day and my dad was found dead in an alleyway near some bins. My mum was never found. I can only hope she's alive somewhere."

He walked away from the edge and towards his makeshift bed and laid down. A few minutes later he turned and looked at Joshua. "You'll get back to your parents. I swear on my life I will do whatever it takes to get you back home"

He woke up to the sound of a Triceratops herd trying aimlessly to smash the barrier on the left side of the bridge. He didn't bother stopping them, they'd give up soon. He sat down at the table and almost fell asleep again. Gods, he was so tired
