Located near Morning Village is a
legendary shrine dedicated to Lunala named the Stellar Shrine. One
day, the millennium-old shrine collapsed and brought out Lunala. In
a fit of despair, she put the world in eternal darkness, leaving
the village in panic. In an attempt to bring back the sun, pokemon
from Morning Village decided to venture out to rebuild the shrine
using the help of other legendaries. Although they are courageous,
they're all weak and thus have to defeat their foes using trickery
alone. Will they be able to rebuild the shrine before the world
turns into a frozen wasteland?
We'll start the roleplay right before the world had been plunged
into darkness by Lunala~
It was a calm, warm day in Morning Village where the sun shined
brightly onto the earth below. The sky was a beautiful blue and the
leaves shown brightly. On this day with the perfect weather, Mirai
floated around looking for familiar faces (although she knew
everyone who lived in Morning Village). She was hoping to find
someone who would go along with her to the Stellar
Shrine.
Rose yawned from where she was sitting on a rock, sunbathing. She
was comfortable but she couldn't help but have a sense of
foreboding. "Get a grip, Rose." She muttered to herself as she
stretched slightly.
:Aria woke up and yawned, her eyes squinting in the sunlight. As
her eyes got used to the light, she went over her plans for the day
in her head: "Berry picking, cooking dinner, and possibly searching
for evolution stones..." : She said to herself one she had finished
going over the list in her mind. She stood up and stretched,
enjoying the beautiful day:
Char, instead of enjoying a rather relaxing morning in the sun, was
trying (and failing) to balance a rubber ball on her nose. Each
time it rolled off, she had to chase it to try again. She repeated
this process over and over until she was in the heart of the
village. Char, however, didn't seem to notice and she certainly
didn't care.
(i know this is really early but what's with the colons
@littlegamer?)
Mirai looked around and saw Aria, Rose, and Char. "H-Hey Char,
wanna go to Stellar Shrine? I feel like sometime interesting is
going to happen today!" Mirai said but although she was excited,
she couldn't help but feel the slightest bit uneasy.
"Hold on, Mirai! Gimme one second, I think I can do it this time!"
Char barked gleefully, glancing over for a split second before
shifting the ball to her nose once more. She failed yet again and
let out an exasperated huff before giving her full attention to her
friend. "Stellar Shrine? I'd love to! It sounds super pretty, but
I've never been."
Mirai felt crowded though she was only with two people. "S-Sure!"
she blurted though that really wasn't what she exactly felt. I'm
feeling more uneasy with every second... she thought. Mirai was
going to make a small cheer until the ground rumbled and a loud
sound of something hitting the ground was heard in the distance.
Rose was about to ask if she could go when her head snapped in the
direction of the sound. "Something fell." She muttered as she
hopped off her rock. "Something big."
Char was preparing to nudge Mirai encouragingly, sensing tension,
before her ears shot straight up and she turned her head to the
sound of the crash. "Whoa. I wonder what that was." She murmured,
turning around.
:Aria jumped in surprise at the sound, before looking around with a
worried look on her face: "Did something just fall, or am I
imagining things?" : She asked herself in her head:
Residents of Morning Village looked in the direction of where the
sound came from until the same sound came back but much, much
louder and the ground shook harder than ever before. Some pokemon
were knocked off their feet from the earthquake. "W-What was that?"
Mirai mumbled and thought carefully about what it might've been.
Char instinctively pressed herself to the ground, paws over her
eyes as she was knocked down. She uncovered one and looked around.
"I-I don't know, but I don't like it."
Rose squeaked as she fell before getting back up. "I agree with
Char on this one. This isn't good at all." She said as her tail
violently swished behind her.
"It's a bit early for fireworks..." Misty grumbled, blinking twice.
She levitated up as usual, not touching the ground. She wasn't that
afraid, her cynical nature showing.
Mirai was very focused and stared at Rose without knowing. Though
she couldn't feel the ground since she was levitating, she could
definitely feel how bad it shook by just looking. "I-I think that
came from S-Stellar Shrine..." Mirai said to the others.
Char uncovered her other eye and shakily got to her paws. She shook
out her fur and glanced around nervously. "Should we go ch-check it
out?" She suggested. She immediately regretted speaking.
"Well, we were going there anyway! Lets do it!" :Aria
enthusiastically replied. She started walking confidently towards
the shrine, her tail held high:
Mirai couldn't help but feel a bit afraid. If it did come from
Stellar Shrine, that must mean something will happen to
Lunala... she thought but shook her head to throw out those
thoughts. "Let's go!" she cheered and levitated towards Aria,
following her.
