Makoto jumped slightly in surprise, and offered his hand in Nagito's general direction as well. "Hey- now that Meiji's helped me gain my footing, maybe we can help you?" He stupped speaking for a second, thinking. "Unless I don't help much, because my hair..."

Rory was laughing at the fact that Nagito had fallen in- and after regaining his compsure, couldn't help but let out a snarky comment. "It seems that Lucky Doofus and Lucky Dingus are both pond boys now!" He grinned, sitting up again, as he had fallen over due to the sudden laughter.

(I swear Nagito is helping my IPod realize Japanese honorfics, because he is so polite and stuff)

"Tehee, hey, give me a silly nickname too!", Meiji giggled once she heard Rory mock Nagito and Makoto. She caught Nagito's words of gratitude as well and replied with a cheerful "No problem~!" She didn't get what he meant about misfortune and stuff, but it didn't sound very bad so she didn't mind.

Makoto nodded simply, sticking his tongue out as he stumbled and fumbled back to shore, trying his best to follow what he thought was Nagito's path.

Rory scoffed. "They weren't nicknames, they were meant to be insults-" he mumbled, going back to fumbling with the raptor claw. He looked up upon hearing Nagito. "How's Lucky Trash. Then you and Lucky Doofus can be, like, Luck Boyfriends."

"C'mooon...", Meiji pouted, "Pleeease, give me a nickname~?" She smiled enthusiastically, awaiting a funny name to be called by. She also started rocking back and forth once again. Even though she did notice Nagito's blushing face, she didn't point it out since she wasn't very focused on it.

Nagito was attempting to not blush, but was failing, horribly. Hiding his face in the hoodie he was attempting to wring out, he jokingly replied to Meiji “You should be gummy bear because you’re so cute, haha”
(And I just realized Rory is the first one here to actually call Nagito trash XD, well, apart from Nagito oc)

"Waaaah~ I'm cuuute~!", Meiji cheered and bounced up and down from the excitement of being called her favorite compliment. She thanked Nagito joyously, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She managed to calm herself down after jumping a bit too high and almost hurting her foot, though her bright smile remained.

Makoto glanced around, confused, taking a moment to take in the joke from Rory, before starting to blush himself. "I..." He began to focus on getting his hair out of his eyes, something he realized he could've done before...

Rory snickered. "It'll take a bit to come up with one for you. I'll have to think a bit more, unlike the Luck Boyfriends over here." He grinned again, knowing it'd Embarass Nagito.

Makoto stared over at Rory, trying to get him to stop. Of course, it probably did no good- a small boy like him would have no hope in intimidating Mr.Paleontologist.

Rory let out a laugh, both from Nagito and Maiji and Makoto's deathglare. "Ha! It seems Lucky Trash found love! But it's not Naegi... was it Naegi?" He snorted, rolling his eyes. "Speaking of, it seems the little guy Lucky Doofus is staring me down, trying to intimidate me. Somebody stop him before he hurts himself." He said Little Guy in an almost mocking baby talk, his grin growing ever wider.

(oof, good ol Neggito has to sleep. No more Mr.Paleontologist for a few hours)
