You are all wrong. Read how the mini game functions carefully before complaining.... it is one chance out of 9 to open the RIGHT chest. Then, in that chest you have 50% chance to get anywhere from 5000 to 20000 game chips, 25% to get any random gems from 1 to 10 of those gems, 15% chance of getting any 1-3 evolutionary item like fire or water stone, 2.5% chance for 2-15 ultra balls, 2% chance for any vitamin types in single amount like protein, zinc or iron, 0.5% chance for a rare candy, and 5% chance for a rare treasure like relics of any rarity, star piece or nuggets in amounts from 1 to 10.

Therefore, it is not 50% chance of winning. But 0,111111111% chance of winning anything of the above in any amounts. Just saying. I am sitting atop 300k game chips from only doing this from time to time, so you do win much more than you pay, just keep hitting the middle chest, you will for sure get something eventually. Same for fairy or dragon gems, I got so far maybe a little over 20 of them from the chest and a little more than 10 fairy and lots of everything else. Be patient, don't complain and you will be rewarded in the end, and also again, read carefully...... annnnndd, train my castform please! :D

It's 1 in 9 chances yet I've played easily 100 times and never once got the right chest is there a method to getting the right one?

There is no method but I typically pick the same chest untill I win unless it asks you if you are sure twice, if it does that then I pick a random chest

I don't even bother playing the treasure chests unless a Dream World Shop task asks for it. Even if I lose my game tokens, at least I get some dream points out of it. My approach may be a better way to handle it instead of calling it a scam; make it a situation where you don't lose either way.

Definitely not a scam. I have gotton over 20k game chips,and only played it a few times. At first 500 chips, 1k chips or even 5k chips semms like a lot, but I almost always get a treasure within 4-6 tries, at most 8. 8 tries is 4000 chips, and doing concentration in hard mode once gets you much more than that.
Not to mention you get at least 10k game chips whenever you win.
If you are unlucky, after 9 tries you get it. Ofc it can be more, but the chances are slim. 9 tries is 4500 chips, a win is 10k.
A concentration attempt is 5k, 18 out of 36 tries wrong is 10k.
This is not a scam, it is something that can make you rich (not in game chips, concetration is better for that, but in PD or Nuggets by selling).
