Both superhero and vigilante forms are same with the exception 'superpower' being changed to 'skills and weapons' in case of vigilante.

(Let's start then)
Orion was just about to go outside his house to take a stroll in the morning. He had done his night petrol and took plenty of sleep to keep him energetic for today. Thing is, he has a special kind of job to attend at night, he is a vigilante, called Arcane by people, he didn't like that name at first, but then grew used to it. He had a record of catching 126 criminals since his debut 4 years ago with two casualties so far. Most of them were just normal robbers and gangsters, but some of them were special and one was a meta.
Even after all of the mess he was facing in his life, there was still something that kind of scared him, something was off about this world. Orion wouldn't dare talking to someone else about it, how could he as no one except him remembered! This world, it seemed like fake to him, it was as if he had two set of memories, one making a completely different type of person than what he becomes in the other memory.

Mira got out of bed and stretched, ruffling her long hair. She was stiff from last night; she had caught a robber trying to break into a bank. Something still felt off. She had woken up one day and bam; something was different. She remembered everything still, but the world she had lived in changed.

Nevertheless, she got ready to go to work and stepped outside.

As he is about to lock the door and step out of his apartment, a beeping sound started coming from his smart watch. It meant only one thing, someone random person was trying to commit some random crime. He had divided the threats into 10 levels with 1 being very small threat and 10 being a threat to the whole planet.....the current one was level 4.
'Robbery at the bank, 36 taken hostages" is what the news read, and level 4 meant that they had high grade weaponry. Orion quickly goes inside his house to change to his vigilante form, he needed to save people in less amount of time, so he had only a black hood and pant with a black mask as his vigilante uniform, it is one of the reason he got the name Arcane. Also putting on his gloves, he rushed out of the building to the bank.

Mira's glasses suddenly lit up; a robbery was in place at the bank, with hostages. Her glasses she had modified to give her intel during a crime. She raced back into her house and put on her suit, grabbing her weapons and racing back out to the bank at a very fast speed, the wind slapping her face.

Orion hope on his bike, it was painted jet black to match his outfit and the tire rims were neon blue to add some style to it. He zoomed past everything till he reached the bank. Parking his bike somewhere safe, he went to the roof of the building beside the bank and jumped to the second floor, breaking through the window. The robbers heard the noise of shattering of glass immediately and sent some of their comrades to sieze whoever has entered the building. It was finally some a ruin time for Arcane after a long time.

Mira skidded to a halt in front of the bank, hearing the glass shatter. She frowned and climbed a nearby tree, jumping onto the side of the bank. She entered the window to see Arcane. Surprised, she pulled up her black mask to hide her face, pulling out her machete.

Arcane noticed someone coming through the window, but ignored it. Turning back, he saw a girl standing near the window, "Ah! You see the fancy dress competition is being held in the building across the street, you are at the wrong place miss" it was difficult to tell whether it was a sarcastic remark or if he was being serious. Suddenly, he heard some people coming up through the stairs. He took out his modified version of tranquilizer, he didn't felt a need to bring a lethal weapon to this operation. The men ascended to the second floor, "now will be a good time to go back miss, the things are about to get messy" he aimed towards the staircase.

Mira heard it too. "Oh, but the messy part is the best part!" She smirked, throwing a few knives towards the staircase. One of them stuck in a man's shoulder, and the other one in another's leg. "No need to be so slow!" She shook her head at the tranquilizer gun.

Arcane ran to the men and shot them in the arm, his special sleep drug could force a person to sleep in an average of 4 seconds. He took the knives out of them and slid them towards the girl. He finally turned towarrds her, "Well, you it ain't no fancy dress, that's for sure...." he said finally realising that she was a vigilante too. "What was your name again?"

"I am Arcane" he proudly pronounced his name, anyone could have seen him smirking if it wasn't for that thick black mask of his. "These people should be just a bunch of normal people playing cowboys in the city, there's no need to use knives at them" he said needling the guys with a painkiller. "So, there are seven members of the gang in total, two of them have been defeated...." he kept murmering to himself. He then took out five small balls, "say Gust, can you throw small spheres as good as you throw blades?"

He showed her the small balls, "what if the small spheres were filled with something that can send a person to sleep in 4 seconds by smelling it?" he said as the smirk returned to his face.....a smirk that no one was able to see at that time. "I need you to throw these balls as hard as you can as close to the nose as possibly you can get"

Arcane broke remaining of the shattered glass to make it noisy enough for the others to come up and check it. This time, three of the people rushed upstairs with their guns aimed to the second floor. "Alright, this should be over soon", he aimed his gun towards the staircase too, just in case if Gust missed a shot.

"Not soon enough," Gust added, throwing the first one. It hit the guy right smack on the mouth, but was close enough for him to inhale it. The second one was a better shot--a little slower, too. It hit him on the nose.

Just before she threw the third one, he shot, causing Gust to dodge and throw clumsily, hitting him on the forehead. She muttered a curse under her breath.

The drug wouldn't work if it was on his forehead, it would take the guy 9 seconds to inhale it, and then 4 seconds to pass out. According to Arcane's experience, a lot can happen in 13 seconds. He instinctively shot the guy immediately and ran towards him, covering his mouth so that he couldn't shout for help. "Wow! What a great aim, I am surprised to see such accuracy" he whispered, it was still not known whether it was a compliment or a sarcastic comment, though it did had a pinch of sarcasm.

"Yeah, right. I screwed up that last shot pretty badly," Gust shrugged, stepping over. "But, oh well. We're close to stopping this. Speaking of... Let's get going!" She ran over to the stairwell and paused, looking downwards and observing the bottom floor.
