Its Sunrise on a cool morning. A small fog is in the air, though is slowly going away. Its Fall.

It was morning and TroutSpot stretched herself in front of the warriors den. The Sunclan-shecat wondered, if Dusktail would ask her to join the patrol again.
The striped deputy had crossed her mind more than once this night...
With a sigh, she decided to check on her brother and walked over to the medicine den.

PebbleDust was sleeping peacefully in his nest, snoring and unaware of his sister, who stepped into the den.

BoragePaw crunched his nose, dreaming of the mouse-bladder he had to put on a tick in DewLeafs fur.

MarbleLeaf didn't dream at all, being too exhausted from hunting the whole evening, far into the night.

ToadRush on the other hand, was already up, whirling around FoamWave, who watched him with an annoyed expression.

The StormClan deputy sighed, watching as the orange warrior finally sat down. LynxStar was still asleep, but he was used to plan the patrols and hunting teams all by himself.
"I'll lead the patrouille this morning, LynxStar probably wants to go this evening again...", the grey tom starts, "You and Carppaw can go hunting. I'd like to check on his progress soon."
He received an eager nod as an answer.
"Now... who to take to the patrol...", FoamWave murmured.

Snowbush, the MoonClan deputy, stood up from his sleep. "Oh, it's morning already?" he asked. Standing up, he walked over to Icestar.

Fernsong was already awake since before morning, carefully staring at his herbs. "Boragepaw," he called to the apprentice, "Does this herb seem... strange to you?"

Aspenfall padded across the warrior's den to the entrance and walked out. "All right it's finally morning! I can't wait to go hunting."

Carppaw bounded out of the apprentice's den. He was 10 moons old, and although he was small, he was very energetic. He rushed up to his mentor, Toadrush. "Toadrush! Toadrush! Can we go hunting? Please, please, please?"

Icestar let out a yawn as she opened her bright blue eyes. She looked around before she stood up and walked out of her den. She saw the fog before she looked around and saw Silvermoon walking out of the warriors den followed by Lionfang. The two seemed to be having a small conversation about the dream they had shared though the night.

Dusktail looked at the waking cats and called to Troutspot. "Take Shiningeyes and Jaypaw on boarder patrol" he said. "I need to take Volepaw hunting." He had been neglecting his apprentice a bit too much with the little amount of warriors they had. A sickness killed most of them off.

Ravenwing woke up with a jolt and shook her head. "This wont be good" she said before she ran to Lynxstar. "I must have a word with you" she said. "Please." She flicked her tail, trying to keep relaxed, and not show that is was bad in case another was looking their way.

Sagepaw was still asleep in her nest, her tail twitching as she dreamed of catching mice for her clan, growing up to be a warrior the clan could be proud of.

Warmheart woke up in the Warrior's den, momentarily forgetting where she was. Upon remembering she was a warrior, and that she had been for a week, she sat up. She stretched her back, letting out a yelp as her back popped. She yawned, her claws coming out reflexively. She sheathed them, padding out of the den.

Shiningeyes had been up since before the sun rose, just walking around his clan's territory. His tail swayed as he walked, looking around. He hadn't been able to sleep the night before, and his ears drooped a little. He let out a soft yawn, and sniffled lightly.

Cindertail was curled up in the Warrior's den, watching the others. Getting bored, she stood and walked out of the den. She looked around, and tensed as the felt the urge to sneeze. She sneezed, and her tail stuck up. She sniffled, blinking.

Aspenfall, noticing Warmheart had woken up, ran towards her. "Hey, you're finally awake! Want to go hunting?"

Snobbish walked to Icestar. "Would you like me to send a border patrol to StormClan border, Icestar?"

Icestar nodded and smiled. "That would be great. Thank you" she said. "Also, keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. I have smelled rats nearby."

"Of course," Snowbush asked. "I remember the last time there were rats. They killed several warriors from all the clans."

Warmheart heard the tom before she saw him. She turned to face him, and smiled. "That sounds fun. If you'd like, sure." When she was young, she always acted mature for her age. Now was no exception either. She gave Aspenfall a sweet smile, tail swaying.

Cindertail let out a huff, and continued to walk. She glanced at the other cats, her tail swaying as she sighed. She looked at her paws as she walked.

"All right, let's go!" Aspenfall laughed. "Ito's the early bird catches the worm! But then again we aren't birds, and worms aren't very tasty. Maybe it should be the early cat catches the prey, huh?"

TroutSpot confirmed the order with a nod.
"Good hunt!", she wished with a smile, before trotting away to find her clanmates.
The spotted cat found Shiningeyes near the entrance, seemingly nodding off. "Hey, are you ok?", she asked with worry. "Dusktail wants us to do the border patrol with Jaypaw... If you're not feeling well, I can ask someone else."

PebbleDust stepped out of the den, freezing in the fresh air.
"This weather is horrible for collecting herbs... but we'll need them, especially after that awful plague.", he murmured.
His sister usually wakes him up every morning to give him a prep talk, but the young healer still felt bad about how many cats the clan had lost, including his own mentor.

ToadRush beamed, when he saw his apprentice. "Perfect timing, CarpPaw! FoamWave just told me that we have the day free for your hunting training!", he purred.
"If you're ready, we can start right now!"

FoamWave shook his head about his enthusiastic friend, trotting over to the warriors den.
He heard the conversation of WarmHeart and Aspenfall.
"Do you mind joining me for the morning patrol first? And please wake Dapplemist up, too.", the deputy asked with his gruff voice, but not unfriendly. "The mentors hunt with their apprentices this morning, I want to make sure that Carppaw and Sagepaw make good progress... We need good hunters more than ever.", he stated, hoping that this was sufficient enough as an explanation.

LynxStar woke up, dizzily listening to the voice of StormClans healer.
"Ravenwing...", he greeted with a tired yawn. "How can I help you?"

Aspenfall groaned. "Oh all right Foamwave. I guess we can go." The ginger and white warrior didn't take kindly to orders, but he would respect the deputy's wishes.

Carppaw gasped with excitement. "We can! Oh how wonderful! Where should we go hunt? There's plenty of prey near the MoonClan border.

ToadRush nodded. "That's a good idea! Let's go immediately and see, if you can top your old record of two mice and a sparrow!", he meowed with a wide grin.

MarbleLeaf slowly opened her eyes, greeting the day with a huge yawn.
Realizing, that the sunset was nearly over, she put herself up.
"Next time, I'll just let it be...", she groaned. After blinking a bit into the sunlight, she trotted outside the warriors den, already motivated again.

Carppaw bounced eagerly. "Now it'll be three mice and two sparrows! Race you there!" The apprentice raced out the camp tunnel.

Fernsong looked wildly around, everything seemed to melt. "Boragepaw?" he called to his apprentice, "Remind me again of a cure for hallucinations?"
