Year 2014-New York
Greenwich Village-Matthews’ apartment

“Come on, Riley, Auggie, we gotta go!” Called out by an older Woman to her kids. “I don’t want to go, Mom! My Bay Window is here!” A young brunette who was only 14, in her last year of Middle School. “Farkle is here in New York! My life is here!” Riley continues as she holds her brother while sitting on her bay window. She didn’t want to move, but her Father had got a job offer to be the new Principal and History Teacher of Central High School. It meant more money for their small family, as her Mother, who was the best Lawyer who could match Laurel Lance in District Attorney. She was easily transferred to Central City.

“Riley, will things be okay in Central? Will we have new friends?” The little boy asks, frighten of moving to a new place. Looking at her little brother, she holds him close to her. “Of course things will be okay. We got each other.” And then, someone crawls through her window. “Riley, just say the word and I’ll have my Father transfer me to Central with you. You two shouldn’t have to face this alone.” Said the boy who was her childhood friend and best friend. With hidden tears, she pats a spot next to her, as the boy sits next to her, hugging her and Auggie. “Farkle, I can’t ask you to do that! Your life is here, Smackle is here! Your Ach-nemesis who has a thing for you. Who else is going to..” Auggie left to get the rest of his things as Riley unleashes her tears, hugging Farkle close to her. “I can’t do this alone!”

Later, The Matthews and Minkus’ families were at the airport. They were saying their goodbyes as both Riley and Farkle made a promise to facetime and text each other all the time, and to visit each chance they can get.

Central City-2014
Fall

It was the night of when the Particle Accelerator was going off. Cory Matthews wanted to spend this moment with his Daughter, as Riley happily agreed to. It was 4 months in, she was getting used to being in central. Most of the people were kind and welcoming to the oldest Matthews siblings. Even Auggie made a friend named Ava Morgenstern. While walking around, she bumps into a cute teen who was in most of all her classes. His name was Lucas Friar. “Oh, sorry-Lucas!” He smiles at her, but had the bad boy vibe, but she knew him for a couple of months, and he was her only friend at the new City. It turned out he also had to transfer over to Central. She changed him to being a better person. He also told her that he wanted to be a veterinarian. She was already head over heels for him and vice versa. “Hey, Sunshine!” After the announcement and after the Accelerator went off, it hit most of them, but it especially got Riley Matthews as she was knocked into Lucas’ arms, passing out cold.

It took a few days in the hospital, but she was able to return home. She felt fine, but her vital signs weren’t normal. A few days later after that, she found out she had powers when she went to tackle hug Lucas in the empty hallway, she ended up shooting a beam at him by accident. Her eyes widens when it happened from her hands. “LUCAS!!!” She screamed as her eyes filled with tears. She ran up to him, holding him close to her as she checks his pulse. He was still alive, but he was badly injured. She went to gently get his light brown locks out of his face as her hands glows, healing the injured boy. She was crying silently, repeating that she was sorry. “Lucas, please forgive me. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” She sobs, crying into his chest. A moment later, he was fully healed as the glowing stopped as he wakes up. “Mmm…” He stirs and groans as he looks hazily into Riley tearful brown orbs. He raises a hand to brush her hair away from her face as he also wipes her tears away. "Don't cry, Princess. I forgive you. It's okay."

“Riley, it’s okay. You didn’t mean it. You healed me too.” He spoke softly as he gets up and holds her into his arms closely, soothing her.

Central High-Present
2016-Central City

After what happened to Lucas, they formed a stronger bond as they were now dating, but her parents forbid her to use her powers. They didn’t know what could’ve caused it, but they knew she was just Lucky. Riley was also lucky that Lucas didn’t run away from her. She was happy as she could be, plus her best friend, Farkle transferred over with Smackle and Zay-Lucas’ best friend from Texas. She was just as happy as she could be.

After getting to School, more of those “Metas” was also in the same High School as her. Suddenly, there was a loud commotion going by the School yard. “I’m going to get you-you little punk!” A fireball appeared in the Senior’s hands as he burns a poor Freshman’s face. A gasps was heard from Riley and her group.

Just as Lucas was starting to run, Riley beats him to it as she pushes the bully aside. “Hey, pick on someone your own side! And can we just talk about this?” Riley asks as she turns to face the injured Freshman. She quietly heals his face, but then the bully punches her face, knocking her down. He was clearly piss. “Bitch, you shouldn’t mess with the big kids!” He was about to flicker a flame on her face as she struggles. “Get off of me! LUCAS!!” She calls out. Her hands reached out as she was too scared, he was punching her face with flames, but before he could do more, she lets out a beam of bright yellow light as he knocks the bully away from her as she slowly heals her own face without knowing. Her eyes widens as she corners herself near a tree.

Unaware of a man in Red watching, her friends runs over to her, making sure she was okay. She was too traumatized to say anything except “Sorry” over and over again, with tears streaming down her cheeks.
