It's FREEZING outside. Weird for September. Sams would be interested, but NOOO, she had to go to that old turtle's island to go study butterflies named after cats...

Then she grabbed my paw and pulled me back towards the boat. "Quit being a grumpy butt, K.K."

"That's all you think about these days! I have no time for parties if my work's not done!"

"We're here," said KK, holding the door open as I ran in, pulling off my mask as I went.
KK stared for a moment, then noticed I'd noticed.
"O-Oh, it's just you never take your mask off that I've seen..."
"Hmph. Anyways, Sams told me I was the only one who could help you with the stage light issue..."
"What? How would she know about that?"
"I don't know, KK. Don't ask me any questions about her. She's kinda, um.... mysterious. You know her, not wanting to say much, running off at every chance."
"...Okay then."
"Sorry if I start talking a lot--I'm just kinda nervous, I've got to do a lot of out-of-town work for someone today and I kinda skipped something to come over here and help... But Sams told me to, so... is it really, um, wrong? If that's the right word to use... I wouldn't know... Sams is the human thesaurus here."
"Rems, just work. It'll calm you down..."
"I guess so... I'll probably keep muttering things, like, really quietly. Nothing important, though. Just some things I need to think about..."
"Alright then, I'll just try to disconnect and bring them down..."
So we set to work.
