Ash in the newest version of the series... though, tbh I haven't enjoyed much of the new. I find myself always going back to the original anime time line...(ug that new movie and alternate timeline makes my nostalgia shake in anger)

I started watching Pokemon XY on netflix, and man is it redundant and just overall bad. Tournament arcs are a guilty pleasure of mine so I'm powering through, but man do they like to reuse the same tropes and bits over and over. Keep in mind that I'm watching the dub, which is generally always worse. I just enjoy previous Pokemon series much more than XY. (I know I technically haven't answered the question, so I guess it'd be science boy Clement.)
