Backstory:

Hidden deep in the forest is a lab. In the lab, scientists do forbidden research on Pokemon and humans, trying to create a PokeHuman. There have been several successes so far, and more on the way. However, the way the scientists treat the PokeHumans is terrible. And so, as one of the PokeHumans, you want to escape and live your own life in the dangerous outside world. Will you survive and escape? Will you get recaptured? Or will you succeed in living on your own?

Silver: "Meh," Silver opened her eyes, "still here." She was in a cage just large enough for her to stand up in. The room outside the cage held many other cages. Most of them held a PokeHuman, though there were some regular Pokemon. "Ugh. Shadow... You there?" Silver said without looking or moving.
Shadow: "Yup." Shadow was in a cage just like Silver's. Equality for all captives. "Shade and Sora were taken by the scientists for experimentation, though they should be back soon... I hope."

(You will start either in a cage, or in an experiment room. Your characters can know each other, but not other player's characters. GO!!!)

Meiya was trying her best to relax in her cage, but was having trouble with that. She was starting to lose her friendly nature, all because of this stupid place. "The least they could do is give us decent meals, right Arcti?" she asked the Togekiss gijinka.

Arcti nodded in agreement. "I guess that's true. And when are we getting out of here? I really want to know." He slowly unfurled his wings and began rattling the bars of his cage with his hands. "Arcti, stop, you're not going to do anything," Meiya yelled.

[Hopesong is in an experiment room currently]

There's nothing more beautiful than the rain.

Shadow: "Yelling Contest!!!" Shadow shouted in response to hearing yelling coming from a few cages down.
Silver: "Shadow... Shut up!" Silver said quietly. "Please refrain from getting us in trouble."
Sora: Just then, a scientist came into the room with a smaller cage on wheels. Inside was Sora, the Zoroark PokeHuman. The scientist transferred Sora from the wheeled cage to her normal one. Then he went over to Shadow's cage and gave him an electric shock to keep him quiet. "He should have kept quiet. He never learns, does he, Silver?" Sora looked disgusted.
Silver: "No, he does not. By the way, where is Shade? I thought you were coming back together." Silver was concerned.
Sora: "He is getting an extra checkup, I think."

Hopesong was chained up in an experimenting room, inside a wheeled cage. "First, we're going to see your reaction to Dragon-Type attacks," the scientist outside the cage said. Strange, I see the beam but I can't feel anything. I'm a Dragon-Flying, not a Fairy-Type, right? "Alright, well it appears you are a permanently mega Altaria, like we thought."

There's nothing more beautiful than the rain.

Frost was curled up in the corner of her cage, her long ribbon-like hair wrapped round her, and her wings folded on her back. She had been trapped in this place for as long as she could remember, but she still hated the feeling of loneliness and isolation, as well as the feeling of not being able to spread her wings properly. She wanted to fly! She instinctively knew how to, but she had never had the chance to, what with being stuck in a cage all the time. She let out a heavy sigh, tears pricking the corners of her eyes.

Shade: Shade was wheeled in and put in his cage, next to Sora's. He looked like he was about to fall asleep and was trying hard to stay awake. "Stupid sleeping gas..." He said, looking at Sora, Shadow, and Silver. "Hey, you know about the plan I had to escape?"
Silver: "Yeah, but it wouldn't work. We don't have weapons." Silver responded.
Shade: "I saw a weaponry when I was being brought back from the examination room! And I can fight without weapons. My new plan is for me to get us to the weaponry, then we get weapons, and then we bust out of here! I will formulate the details. You guys get other PokeHumans to join in on the plan."
Silver: "I think that will work! Yeah!" Silver whispered back. She looked over to the next cage. It held a male Togekiss PokeHuman. "Hey, I think my friends and I have a plan to break out and escape! We need to get everyone together. When Shade, the red Umbreon PokeHuman over there, breaks us out of our cages, we need to follow him to a weaponry. Then we grab a weapon and use it to escape. Spread the word!" Silver said to the Togekiss. "By the way, what's your name?"

Arcti looked over at Silver. "The name's Arcti, and the Milotic is Meiya. And if you see a Mega-Altaria, that's Hopesong." He gestured with his right wing to show where Meiya was, and she ignored him.

Frost looked up when she heard the other pokehumans talking in the cages nearby. She tried to listen to what they were saying, but just then one of the scientists wheeled an empty cage over to hers, preparing to take her to the experimentation room. She reluctantly climbed into the empty cage, but after the scientist locked it he said: "Today we're going to see how many fire-type attacks you can take before you faint." Frost became instantly terrified. She hated too much heat! As her breathing got faster, the air around her got colder, until her cage was covered in ice and the scientist had to put gloves on to even touch it. Frost shrieked and struggled as the scientist wheeled the cage into the experimentation room.

Bolt paced in his cage. It had been at least half an hour since they took the girl from the cage beside his. At least it felt like half an hour, maybe it was more. He didn't have much help with the concept of time in this place. Small sparks of electricity flew from his hands as he gripped the bars and tried to look down the hallway. Seeing nothing he shook his head and moved back. The voices of others in the cages brought him back to reality as he glanced to either side of him.

Amber growled and snapped back at the scientist. She pressed back against their attack, sending the jets of blue flame against their water attack. No way was she going to let them make her faint once more. She could feel the power draining from her. Moving wasn't an option, she was bound in place. How much longer would she have to take of this?

Frost struggled, having been strapped to a wall in front of a row of fire type pokemon. She couldn't move her arms or legs, and her wings were pinned to the wall by her back. When a flamethrower from a Magmar was sent her way, she countered with an ice beam. She would fight back for as long as she could, but she didn't know how long she'd last...

Marie slept in her cage, her body twitching every once in awhile, showing signs of a nightmare. She woke up to conversation a few cages down, and looked at them, her eyes set in a half-closed form from her sleepiness, sideffects due to the nightmares which left her tired even after a nap. She yawned, the noise echoing around the room, slipping through the cage bars. She sat up, rubbing her eyes.

Frost was dumped back in her cage after finally fainting from the constant barrage of fire attacks. The scientist who had put her back sprayed her with some potion, before locking her cage door and walking away. She shuddered, then slowly sat up. She hurt all over from burns. A potion didn't provide enough energy for her. She just had enough to look around at the other pokehumans for a moment before she collapsed once more.

Marie saw Frost collapse, and crawled to the edge of her cage. She stuck her hand through the bars, and stretched it through to Frost's, patting her shoulder. "Their horrible people..." She said to herself, glaring as a scientist walked into the room.

Frost opened her eyes and looked up at the kind Leafeon pokehuman, giving her a weak smile. It was the first time someone had ever been nice to her in this horrible place. She carefully stretched one of her wings out and through the bars of the cage, draping it round the leafeon like a blanket.

"What's your name...?" Marie croaked, her throat dry from lack of water. She smiled as the wing wrapped around her, nuzzling into it like a cold wet puppy would snuggle into a towel. She continued to pat her shoulder, trying to give a bit of comfort to her.
