Nathana shrugged. "So the plant is a part of you then?" She finished cleaning her blades, brought some of the meat over to the other set of racks and lit a small fire under the racks. "Do you actually eat once that flower of yours is full?"

Alexane nodded and sigh. She turned around and walked toward Nathana.

"This plant is connected with my heart, or its my heart itself: Its a long story, but this plant give me the life, If it dies I die with it. Like every plant I have to feed it often."

She put both her hands on the edges of the long split and slightly pulled the sides, showing the roots of the plant inside the beating heart.

"The flower has its own life. Since I'm a human too, my other organs works with my flesh body. So yes, I have to feed my stomach too."

Nathana seemed to have no reaction to the plant that was connected to Alexane's heart. "The meat will be ready in a while... Look around and make yourself at home while I ready your bed for your stay." She said in a monotone voice as she headed over to the alcove filled with furs and began arranging them.

Alexane glanced Nathana.

"...Not the reaction that I expected." She shrugged. "Maybe It's not a good Idea to ask. I'll try tomorrow"

She sat on the ground in front of the wall and started to scratch the surface with her claws, causing sparks. Her mind went somwhere else.

Nathana separated the furs into two piles and once done with that she went over to the fire and tended it. Feeding it small sticks and checking the meat. I'd rather not get attached... Last time I did that I lost them... That always happens... She stands up and glances over to the sparks. "I've divided the furs, so you can pick which pile you want... I'd arrange them however you'd like before food..."

Alexane turned around her glance toward Nathana and slightly smiled.

"Yes, my stomach is kicking for the hungry" she giggled "I'll go to bed once finished"
She standed up and walked toward her pile of furs and sat on them.

Nathana shrugged and pulled several strips of the tender now greyish brown meat off the fire. (The color just means that its not raw.) She set the strips on two small concave stones and handed one to Alexane before taking hers and sitting in front of the fire. She leant her head down and whispered some words before reaching into the stone plate, picking up a strip and bitting into it hungrily.

Alexane took the stone in her hand and she started to bite one of the strips.
She looked at Nathana and smiled.

"You surely are hungry" she continued to finish her meal, chewing quielty.

Nathana chuckled and swallowed her bite before speaking. "Considering its been several days since my last good meal, yeah, I'm hungry." Once done speaking she bit into the meat again. Faolan walked over to her and rested his chin on her lap. She got up, grabbed one of the pieces that hadn't been cooked yet and set it on the floor for him.

Alexane looked at the stone in her hand.
"Me too" she whispered.

When Faolan came near Nathana, Alexane observed him.

"He will be a strong wolf If he will walk at your side"
She said no more and walked toward the pile of furs and whising a goodnight to the girl she laid on them. Here eyelids were heavy, so she fell asleep quickly.

Nathana sighed as Faolan laid right next to her leg and watched her finish eating. When Alexane bid her good night she nodded her head speaking no words. Once Faolan fell asleep she picked him up and set him near the fire to keep warm. She finished her meat, tended the fire and left the cave for a walk in the moonlight. On her walk she heard a noise, like the flapping of an injured bird. She approached the sound and entered a clearing, in the center of the clearing lay a rather pretty young woman, thing is, she had wings. One of the wings seemed to be broken, and there was a spear sticking through the woman's thigh. The woman looked up to Nathana as though she was on the verge of puking or passing out. She did the latter of the two. Now that the woman was unconscious, Nathana walked over to check on the woman. She began to inspect the wound when she was picked up by the throat and thrown across the clearing. She growled as she got up and was pinned against the tree, once again by the throat by the defender. "What are you doing with the angel demon-filth?!" Spat the man, she figured it was a male because of the deeper voice. She couldn't make out any details about the man because he had none. He was a Shadow. (I'll explain these later.) "I was... Going to fix her..." Nathana choked as his grip tightened. "Oh really? You weren't going to eat her?" Nathana laughed as she shifted into a small snake and dropped from his hand only for him to disappear. "If I was going to eat her, I would have already... If she's a friend of yours you won't be able to help her. I'm taking her back to my cave to tend to her. If you don't like it then kill me. But bear in mind, you can't close that wound and she'll surely bleed out." The shadow appeared over by the woman kneeling next to her. "Fine. But if you cross me... You'll wish you could die..." And with that the shadow vanished. Nathana sighed as she shifted back into herself, picked up the angel in her arms and went back to her cave, muttering about how she simply wanted to go out hunting and returned with two new mouths to feed. Now, she has a third. Oh what a to do... She entered the cave silently so as not to wake either being. She laid the woman on the floor near the table with the tools. She heated one by the fire and got to work removing the spear, straightening the wing and splinting it. Once done after probably an hour of work, she moved the woman onto the empty pile of furs and fell asleep on a large bear skin on the floor of the cave.

The night passed quickly, Alexane was too tired even for the dreams.
She got up looking out of the cavern, the sunshine seeped through the tunnel.

"At least its morning" with a blurred glance she looked around, but not putting too much focus.
She tried to walk toward her mask, but in the middle of the stretch she tripped on something and fell on the ground. She rubbed her head and turned around to see the obstacle.
Suddenly she jumped on her feet with an allarmed looking.

"What the...." she quickly grabbed her mask and put it on her head.
Nathana was sleeping quietly and the body on the ground seemed to breath too, there wasn't signs of battle. She sat with her back against the wall and waited that one of the two girls woke up.

Nathana awoke with a start as Alexane fell. "What? Oh. We have yet another guest." She sits up on the bear skin and looks over to the angel laying on the pile of furs. "I found her in the woods last night after you had fallen asleep... She was injured and because I don't like simply letting things die, I brought her in and fixed her up..." She puts a hand to her slightly bruised throat as she stands up. "You hungry?"

"I see" Alexane glanced at the body of the angel.

"No, don't worry. I'll go down to the river and then take a bath, the flower needs water too." She got up and walked toward the tunnel. "Do you need something?" She asked.

Nathana stood up and stretched. "I don't need anything, though she'll probably be thirsty..." She grabs a hollowed out gourd and tosses it over to Alexane. "I'll be out in a bit to gather some berries..." She walks over to the angel and checks on the wound and the wing.

Alexane catched the gourd and nodded.

"I'll be back later" she then left the cave.

She reached the river, the transparent water was streaming quietly. Alexane felt the wind on her skin, and smiled as the sun touched her. She walked toward the water and filled the gourd, she harvested some berries and put them on her shirt after she undressed. All of her clothes were crowed near a tree, and she immersed her naked body in the water, gently. She closed her eyes, remembered every single moment in her last 24 hours. She sighed deeply and plunged all of her head underwater; her white hair were spread like seaweed.

As Nathana worked on the angel's wing, she opened her eyes and kicked Nat in the jaw out of surprise. Nathana fell backwards having not been prepared for the blow. The angel stands up very wobbly and falls back down as she puts pressure on her thigh. Nat stands up and smirks at the angel. "Well good morning to you." The angel looked up to Nat and scowled. "Who are you and what am I doing here?!" Nat walks closer and grabs her medical supplies. "My name is Nathana and I saved your life..." The angel relaxes slightly as she realizes that she isn't in danger as of the moment. "M-my name is Eziekiel..."
