"Hell, they forgot to feed Mello for a month..." Dragi piped in.

Ella collapsed to sit down. "These friggin' kids.." She mumbled, stretching in exhaustion. It was usually children who gathered to watch her, and yet they never even saw the burning glares she shot at them in between fake smiles.
"Seriously," Sky sighed in response. She was even more tired than the centaur. "Can't wait to get an actual day of rest," she said, yawning a bit. She lacked several hours of sleep, which Ella couldn't blame her for. It wasn't like anyone was able to get a good rest every night, anyway.

She couldn't breathe without water, but it didn't stop her from doing things. "Can you all please calm down? Like the mermaid said, we all don't need to know that you don't like it here.

Oliver grunted and curled up again. Monofire sighed and curled up next to Oliver, glaring at Mello and Cyana who glanced at each other like they knew what was going on. Cyana whispered, "I bet they like each other and aren't accepting it." Mello nodded and grinned slyly. "We should try to get them to be in a relationship," Cyana added.

The harpy sat at the edge of her cage, unable to rest. Her cage was right beside Ella's, and though the two often talked, Ella felt like they had no possibility of being friends or anything. "Why don't you just sleep?" The centaur mumbled to Sky.
"Don't need to. I can sleep in all day tomorrow. Can't, anyways," she replied. Ella shrugged and slowly fell asleep herself.

Kiro tried to pace, but her space was too cramped. Soon more feathers had popped out.
"Well, at least feathers make a good bed. I really need them tho-" she was mumbling to herself before seeing a human and snarling at them. She was not a happy Griffin, she should be out in the wild, not stuck here!

Shadow looked around for the moon so that she could find some comfort, but she couldn't see it. She snarled, her sounds mangled. She couldn't handle it too much longer, she was going berserk. Maybe if she acted berserk enough the humans would let her go.......

Moon sat up, her silver scales glittering in the darkness. She couldn't fly, or they would have put a top on her cage. She hated the humans with a loathing like cats and dogs, her being the cat. She just wished she could be free and not Captured by these vile stinking humans.

Flyingstar pretended to sleep, keeping her eyes like slits but still open. Maybe today they would feed her. Then she could get out. They probably wouldnt knowing them.
"Why sleep? We're just going to be abused again when they decide we should be! If only I could get out- that's it! If they feed me too little for too long I can slip out!" she purred, before the realization came that they wouldn't let her.

Midnight clawed at the bars in his cage. Separated but in the same room. He whimpered and tried to knock his imprisonment over. He tried biting it, too. More whimpering. It was all that he could do now. Bite, whimper, try to knock this over.


(They're all in this very large room with several cages but Mono, Oliver, Cyana, and Mello are not in them.)

Corrina woke up in her small cage and sat up slowly. She craned her neck to look around. She was in an awkward position, with her head in between her knees, and her wings bent at an awkward angle as she attempted to pull them in. She whimpered softly as her wing hit the sharp lock, scrapping it till it drew blood. She pulled her wings in, now in some type of yoga move in the cage. She looked at the others, and tried to speak, but all that came out was a dry groan that sounded inhumane.

Shadow snarled in companionship. She knew that the others were just as tired of this life as she was' and she was fed up with it. She couldn't fire-breathe for her own lives sake...

Oliver's tail tip twitched and he woke up. "I smell food. Like, actual food. Not that brown-green-blue slop they feed us. Like, meat, plants, that stuff. Are we actually going to get something worth it?" Monofire opened one eye - the dark grey fur side. "Actual food? As if." Oliver helped her to her paws. "C'mon they're gonna feed us something good sooner or later, Mono!"

Shadow sniffed.
"It's true. There's food, but its probably not ours. They just wanna eat for themselves. Maybe the cat over there has an idea?" she barked, glumly.

Flyingstar nodded slightly.
"I'm small enough that if I don't eat for a few more days I can get out. I may be able to get the rest of you out too, but it'll be a while.

Corrina sighed, though able to understand the animals, she couldn't smell like them. She looked at the others. "So your telling me, that there's actual food?" She asked, grinning widely. Then she realized that the food was probably only for the masters, they were using the money from the freaks to buy food and feast like kings, probably. She sighed and laid down curled up in her cage.
