Melez Morningstar sits at her corner table in a small tavern, sipping at her drink. She looks around the dusty place thinking to herself. "Why am I even stopping here? This place is far from clean, and the smell... But, it is quiet, for now..." Her eyes stop at a group of men and a couple of demons beginning to quarrel. One of the demons looks over at her and then turns back to the others. They all seem to quiet down once he begins talking to them. She sighs, "They probably know who I am... But I doubt that they'll cause much of a problem in here... The bartender has already threatened them..." She grins as they all walk out, casting ugly glances her way as they leave. "Well... Now the place is better looking..."

Melez finishes her drink and leans back in her seat, she takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. She calls a waitress over and orders a couple pieces of bread. Which is brought out quickly. She looks down at the pale bread on the plate. "Stale... But not moldy..." Melez picks up her bread and eats it hungrily. "I need to get a good cloak with a hood... Leather would be nice... Divided into three strips at the back... That would do nicely..." She says to herself as she fantasizes about an article of clothing. After she finishes her thought, she chuckles to herself as she realizes that she just day dreamt about clothes.

Aimi walks around the streets, trying to fool People with her ability to change form and being sucessfuly everytime, she enters a small tabern with her regular look

Melez eyes the newcomer for a moment and then refocuses her attention to her stale bread. "It is getting late in the day... I could probably rent a room here if I wanted to..." She thinks to herself. "Then again I could continue on the road for the next town..." She sighs and sets down her bread. She asks the waitress for a candle, a piece of paper, an envelope, and a pen. The items are brought to her and she begins writing a letter by the candle light.

Melez stares at this demon confused. "Excuse me... But I said nothing to you... And I'm far from needing help from you." She says somewhat annoyed. She finishes writing her letter, then she seals it and puts it into the flame. The letter burns but there are no ashes. Melez stands, leaves coins on the table and she heads for the door.

She starts laughing "ok, do whatever you want. I really doubt you'll survive without help... And if you want an advice dont play with fire" she looks at her, with a small smirk

Melez stops just before the door and turns to the demon girl, "I was raised around fire... I think it is you who shouldn't play with fire." Her eyes shimmer and reflect the candle's light making it look like her eyes are on fire. She turns and leaves.

She follows her, jumping a little like a little Child "oh, but I love playing with fire.... It makes everything more interesting "

Melez growls, thinking to herself, "Who does she think she is? Trying to tell me how to live my life..." Melez turns to her, "Leave, me, alone." Melez disappears into the shadows.

She pouts but quickly smiles again "oh well... Someone is on a bad mood " she Turns around and heads for her place

Ace jumps in the city happily looking around as he gets his sword out ..

Melez reforms a few buildings down from where she shadow slipped and she sighs. "People need to mind their own business sometimes... How did she know what I was thinking anyway?" She thinks to herself as she walks down the darkened road. Off down an alleyway she hears a rustling, and then a voice. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? The child of Jakaan is it?" Melez doesn't stop walking. Several figures come out of the alleyway and begin following her. "We just want to talk... How is the traitor doing these days? And how is it you're so far from home little one?" The voice chuckles.

Melez stops, "Why won't people leave me alone today?" She mutters. The figures surround her, she looks about and her gaze rests on the leader. "These odds aren't quite fair? Are they?" A small grin tugs at the corner of her mouth. The leader laughs, "They are very fair, for me..." In a few swift movements, Melez throws daggers, which were hidden under a flap in her tunic, and they all find their mark. Almost half of his men fall with blades sticking out of their chests. The leader sighs, "Aww the game was going to be fun..." Melez's grin spreads over her lips, and the leader's smile fades. He charges at her drawing his sword, and his men follow suit.

She shadow slips about, taking them out one by one until the leader is the only one left. She charges out from a nearby shadow at him and she pushes him against a wall, dagger to his throat. "How shall this end?" She hisses. He grins as one of his men stands up behind her, his wound not taking its deadly toll yet. "It shall end in blood!" The leader shouts as his man stabs a knife into her shoulder. She grits her teeth, as the leader spins, pushing her against the wall and taking her dagger as his man falls to the ground dead.

He smiles wickedly, "Well, it seems the tables have turned little one..." he says as he holds her against the wall, his hand on her throat. Melez coughs as she tries to reach for another dagger under the flap in her tunic. But the leader grabs the last dagger before she can and he presses it onto her throat. "Any last wishes?" He says with a sneer.

Aimi walks around and sees the demon from before "wow, she has friends... " she shouts for them to hear her "hey, having fun?"

Ace walks as he doesnt notices anyone around him and he frowns down wards..

The leader his head to the person, "Yes, quite a lot actually!" He laughs as he turns back to Melez. "Well... Tell your father that he's a..." He doesn't finish the sentence, he looks down to his gut and the dagger protruding from it. He looks back up at her and realizes that its the dagger that was in her shoulder. "You... Cheated..." He says as he falls to the ground. Melez steps over his body and collects her daggers from the bodies, wiping them off before putting them away.

No one even noticed Glasya sitting in the shadows of the tavern. And she preferred to keep it that way.She was just enjoying the fight from the shadows

Aimi looks at the scene, still smiling "why did you killed your friend? "

Melez doesn't even bother to look at her, "First off, he wasn't my friend, second, he tried to kill me... and third why does it matter to you? I don't believe we know each other..." She says as she gathers the rest of her blades, wiping them off as she goes.

Melez turns to her, "That was what you called meeting someone? I call it interrupting someone's meal... The name's Melez..." She says gruffly.
