I think 100 mil would be still pretty low on the estimation scale as "want" is just as important as the cost of production. I would think closer to 500 Mil in all honesty.

@TheUltimateDragon - if you are asking if this is a good price to buy at then yes. Star pieces are selling still at around 50k each.

Just because no one has one doesn't mean that they are shiny locked or do not have the chance of existing, being lab eggs, they have the same chance of being shiny as lab eggs.

That's true, but what they meant is that Shiny Moltres are so rare (if there's even any) that they are priceless. The prices are decided by monitoring the price at which others sell them at. Since there are rarely any (more like none) shiny Moltres being sold, we cannot determine the price of one.

As MeepTheMareep stated, in the standard trading model the 2 axis of which affects price overall is supply and demand. With how PH is setup, there is no true "gold standard" aside from anything that can be bought from the Mall. Which is why the community had worked together to create a standardized appraisal of items/pokemon, however, theoretically anyone can buy/sell items to their perceived worth. (E.g. Pokemon that worths 10k but flips it for 50k), we've all seen it in AH and GTS. That's also where supply and demand comes in. To extrapolate, if there's only 1 Easy Shiny in circulation - it could very well be priceless as well. Not everyone is going to wait for another one or break their Radar Chain to get it theirself.

TL;DR - Price Check is a reference and not a true indication of what values are. It's a tool of which gives everyone a rough understanding of what things should be valued at and helps everyone be able to buy/sell at reasonable prices. Pokemon that are extremely uncommon and not in circulation is not subject to price check.

@Devil0356, no. Its up to the breeder on the price that they want to sell the Shiny Mega Pokémon for.

@Saratank Okay thank you! I've been thinking of buying one but don't know how much is reasonable. I assume a few million at least.

1 Shiny mega is normally worth more than a ditto. :) Hope that helps.

How much is a Relicanth worth? It is needed for the Regigigas Quest.
