LightningBolt sighed as she watched her go. 'Poor cat... why is life so cruel? Like it was to me...' She shook the thought out of her head and licked her paws.
(Her parents died. One in battle, the other of sickness.)

LightningBolt ignored her hunger and decided to clear her mind with a little exploration. "Hey Nightpaw," she mewed to the apprentice. "would you like to come hunting with me?" She asked. 'Maybe some company can help.' She thought.

Nightpaw stalked out at a mouse with a serious face in the perfect pose to catch some thing she parted her jaws and meowed calmly "other clan cats not from ours."

"Hm." LightningBolt watched the mouse scurry away and faced Nightpaw. "Good scent. Your mentor must be proud. C'mon, let's hunt somewhere else." She said and nudged the apprentice toward a bundle of trees swarmed with birds and squirrels. Carefully, she approached a plump squirrel with her body low, and pounced as quick as lightning. She caught the squirrel and nipped at it. She turned back to NightPaw and flicked her tail toward a fat mouse. "Can you try that?" She said quietly, her mouth full of squirrel meat.

"NightPaw!" LightningBolt furiously hissed into her ear. "Follow me, quickly! Keep quiet!" She growled and darted into a bush nearby where clan cat scent was strong.

LightningBolt glanced to where she was pointing and found a tom warrior from the other clan. A silent growl rose in her throat, but she kept it down and said to NightPaw, "Stay down. Don't move, understand? I'm going to see what this is about..." She ordered her and glared at the other cat. She began to step forward.

LightningBolt shot her a warning glare. She growled once more and stepped into the open where the cat stood looking around. "You mind telling me why you're trespassing?" She snarled at the cat, which whipped his head to face her with wide eyes.
(Can I give the cat a name to roleplay with? He won't be my character)

The cat's expression darkened. "Who are you?" He hissed. "Name's LightningBolt. And who are you?"
The cat growled. "I'm StoneClaw." "Why are you here?" LightningBolt snarled.
"Why should I tell you?" StoneClaw mewed.
"Because you happen to be on my territory."
"Pfft, like I would tell you."
LightningBolt exploded with anger. She bolted up to the cat, her claws unsheathed. "Get out of our territory, and bring your scent with you." She spat, and StoneClaw glared at her, but then flicked his ears when he sensed something in the distance LightningBolt couldn't make out, and darted away, leaving her in the dirt.
