Synthia began to pick up another life sign approaching from the air. 'My friend has will be arriving shortly. When he gets here, please refrain from making any sudden movements. He tends to be territorial, and may not take kindly to your presence. In the mean time, do you telling me a little more about yourself and your travels?' Perhaps I can accompany the boy on his journey to Mauville, she thought to herself. He reminds me so much of my "serenia" (Pokemon term of endearment), I don't wish to see him or his Little-One hurt.

We were able to survive pretty well for a while, but when we went to slateport to try and find a boat to take us back to kalos... We were cornered by a horde of them. I was able to fight them off for a while, but they just kept coming. Eventually a linoon burst through a-and latched onto my trainers arm. Needless to stay that Fallen did not survive our incounter. When he died something snapped inside me. I couldn't think, I couldn't breath. When I woke up I was sitting in a crater. I learned later that I had leveled the entire city. From there I just started wandering, eventually making it here. I built this shelter and gathered what few Pokemon I could find. When I first sensed you here, I couldn't feel Tizzy's mind.' She said gesturing at the sleeping child.' I nearly tore you apart on the spot. The only thing that stopped me, was the fact that you had a Little-One with you. I did not want to put one so fragile through that kind of pain...' Synthia gazed into the young mans eyes. ' I am glad that I didn't kill you though' she said with a smile.

"Whoa.." Kyle said looking at synthia he looked back at the egg it moved slightly but didn't start cracking open "Im hoping my family is doing alright.. My father is a pretty good trainer though.. Hes the one who gave me the egg from a pokemon of his.. im still not sure what the pokemon inside is though.. My Brother is probably protecting my family with his great pokemon though so i shouldn't worry" Kyle said

Suddenly there was a loud thud on the roof. ' that will be my friend Shrapnel' Synthia said as a large Skarmory shuffled in wearing a backpack. His eyes narrowed when he saw the boy sitting in the middle of the room. He let out a low growl, before glancing at Synthia, giving a sharp caw as he did so. Who is this Fleshling my lady? he asked in his strange raucous language She glared at the great bird, making a melodious warbling noise while gesturing at the boy. He is a friend Shrapnel, there is know need to be so prickly. You are my friend, Tizzy is my friend, this house is my friend. This boy is not my friend, he must earn that right he replied while pulling off his backpack. He will be staying with us tonight, as his Little-One will soon Awaken.Very well, my lady. He sighed

Shrapnel hand his backpack to Synthia. " I wasn't able to find much this time round. I looted a drug store in petalberg, but it was pretty well picked over. I was able to find a few loaves of bread and chunks of cheese in pacifidlog, who don't seem to know that there is an apocolypse happening"."This will be plenty for you two while I'm gone I think." Synthia replied. She glanced at the boy as if suddenly remembering he was there. ' Oh, sorry for ignoring you, this is Shrapnel, he can be a pain sometimes' at which she gave a gentle shove with her fist against his steely head. 'But he's really a big softy especially when it comes to Little-Ones. Shrapnel let out a low caw. Synthia glanced at him then said ' Shrapnel wants to know if he can examine your sword. He feels that the best way to get to know a man is through his weapon'

As Shrapnel examined the small sword Synthia looked at the boy with a slightly worried look on her face ' what wrong? You seem so tense. We're not going to hurt you. As gruff as Shrapnel seems he really is very nice' suddenly Tizzy wobbled over to the chair, resting her hands on it. Looking up at the boy she gave him a crooked smile and nuzzled his leg.

No need to shout Synthia, it's really not that big of a deal Shrapnel grumbled. 'Sorry' Synthia said in a much softer tone. Shrapnel then proceeded to pluck out one of his metal feathers, then grabbing a small strip of leather from the wall he rapped it around the quill. He gave a squwak at Tizzy, who quickly ran over. After making some short clicking noises, She nodded, then gave the leather bound quill a Dizzy Punch, causing the leather to fuze. Shrapnel then presented the weapon to the boy. "A-Always shaarp" he croaked in garbled English. 'I'll start making some dinner' Synthia said, walking over to a makeshift counter.

Shrapnel nodded his head in approval, while touching his wing to the tip of the blade. Tizzy spun in excitement. She didn't get to see shrapnel fight often. He gestured for Kyle to follow him as he flapped his way into the clearing below.
