Phoenix saw Luellia all on her own so she flew over to her wanting to keep her company. At the edge, she shifted to her human form and sat on the ground. She smiled at her, wanting to be friends.

"Um, well, I'm almost embarrassed to say this," Luke coughed to clear his throat. "I guess you could say that me and Phoenix over there were playing around, since I'm technically still a pup and end up acting like one. The Kitsune decided to join us, and we pretty much were just acting like kids." His face showed the strain he was putting into his smile, since he was pretty embarrassed of it all. Sure it was fun, but he was a teenager. Teenagers did not "play around."

Fox couldn't help facepalming. "Oy, you Americans are ridiculous. I mean, I've lived in America over a third of my life, but still. You'd think that things wouldn't change so much after going to visit your homeland for a couple years." She mumbled as she peered between her fingers at the group.

"Actually, I'm Japanese!" Solitude cried cheerily as the child, which she now saw was a girl, made a comment about "Americans." She grabbed her ball and ran to the child, shifting into her human(ish) form. Long, black hair now fell down her back. She straightened out the kimono she wore that had appeared out of thin air when she shapeshifted. She pointed to herself, "I'm Solitude."

"Just now, you said you went to your homeland. So where are you from?" She asked the child, who looked to be roughly the same age as herself.

Alarmed at the phoenix's approach, Luellia dove back into the water, making quite the splash as she swam to the floor. All her years, she had isolated herself from most creatures, only making contact when necessary. It was quite strange to find an assortment of them frolicking about near her lake. With an inaudible sigh, she let her fingers trace the water currents visible only to her, recalling when she played about with the other nymphs. They did quickly abandon their playmate when they found out what she was.

A rare, bitter smile curled Lue's lips as she absentmindedly started her ascent. Perhaps she should retire for the day, cocooned in her oak tree home. She resurfaced, slipping onto the shore before morphing into her nymph form. Her flowing blue gown billowed around her for a split second due to the residue of the power she emitted in between transformations, and she paused in her movements to wiggle the feeling back into her almost translucent feet.

"Well, I was born in America, but technically my homeland is Germany." Fox said. "An I know I look young, but don't be treatin me loik a lil kid, alright?" Fox had picked up many accents over the decades, and they kind of faded, fluctuated, and mixed together at times. Some times it seemed that she had no accent. It was a bit strange, but Fox didn't really mind. "I'm Fox."

Phoenix looked a bit sad when Luellia dove, but she didn't let that bother her that much. She stood and walked over to Luke and poked him. Her wings on her back flurtted a bit, wanting to fly and play again.

"That's really cool. I'm Luke," Luke said, grinning. Truthfully, he was pretty nervous now that he was in his human form. He'd never been around so many different creatures, and he didn't mind as much about such things in his wolf form. If he were to shift into his full human form, he'd probably be so nervous that he'd freak out. Half-wolf form was better for communication, and he still had some of the confidence of his wolf form.

Luellia steadied herself as she forced her wobbly feet stand. Shifting between tail and feet did leave some rather bothersome aftereffects.

She stared at the other creatures with a strange expression, slightly uncomfortable at their proximity to her lake. It wasn't really her lake, as she was more nymph than mermaid, but it had been her home for a year now. It held a lot of sentimental value to her, since it was her closest thing to a home.

She glanced longingly at the ancient oak tree that rested nearby - her house. Lue pondered rushing to it, but sadly realized that the other creatures would probably notice a nymph passing by. Plus, the phoenix had already noticed her. She wasn't exactly the stealthiest of all mythical creatures.

Luellia bit her lip, weighing her options, hoping she wouldn't make the wrong decision. Her mixed emotions were evident, and the ground beneath her stirred, rumbling slightly around her. Plants sprouted at a snail's pace as Luellia obliviously stood there, swaying on her feet like a tree in a strong storm wind.

Phoenix glanced over and saw Luellia looking at the old oak tree. She thought for a moment before moving carefully between the others and her and spreading her wings a bit to block their view of Luellia while she faced them.

I hope she understands what I am doing... Phoenx thought, listing to the others. She brought up her hands and created a small ball of blue flames and began practicing with it, trying to increase her abilities with it. "I really should be better at this by now..." she mumbled to herself, sighing a bit.
