Note: This is a remake of the original

6 kids, all in their teen years, wake up in a meadow surrounded by trees. In the middle of the meadow lay a circle of eggs, each nearly identical to the one beside it. Taking the eggs with them, the children from a bond with the young Pokemon inside. They all must find some way to either get back home, or settle within the forest itself. Pokemon linger in the woods--some threatening their survival, others willing to help them.
In order to make a way home or make a home, the six kids must work together to survive.

As he drifted into wakefulness, Arashi blinked groggily, his amethyst eyes still bleary from sleep. Lifting his head from the rucksack he was surprised to find that he'd been using as a pillow, he began putting his long purple hair back into a ponytail as he tried to work out what was going on. He was fully dressed, in what seemed to be a stretch of lush greenery surrounded by trees, with a number of both humans and Pokemon eggs. He'd have believed it a dream, or an illusion conjured by a Psychic type or perhaps a Ghost type, but the sharp scent of grass was a firm indication that this was no fabrication.

Perplexed, he decided that this simply had to be investigated, and he stood up to wander around the glade in search of answers. How could he have come to be in this place? He certainly didn't recall venturing into the woods recently. Perhaps he'd been teleported here as a prank by some bored Pokemon? If so, what was with the eggs? It didn't make much sense. Turning his attention to the eggs in question, he began to examine them. He hoped to be a Professor some day, so it would be in his interests to attempt to identify them.

He tried to reference the Pokemon Encyclopedia to figure out what the eggs were, but the patterns were simply too vague. Deciding to have a closer look at the one which was nearest to him, he sat down and lifted it gently onto his lap to get a better look at it. "Who are you, I wonder?" He murmured softly, stroking its shell. He'd normally be wary of provoking a mother Pokemon in this situation, but this was hardly a natural-seeming set up, so he had elected to abandon his more cautious approach for the time being.

Jeff woke up, not knowning what just happened. His head was hurting, though. He looked at the strange egg, wondering what was inside of it.

Brooke's head ached as she struggled to stay asleep. Now half-awake with no chance of getting back to sleep, she slowly opened her eyes and looked around. As she looked around the meadow, she was shocked to see that she was no longer in her own room. She pushed her glasses up onto her face, and noticed the eggs and other people dispersed around the field. One egg seemed fairly close to her, and she moved over to it slowly. Her small first-aid kit bumped against her side where it was connected to her belt, but she paid it no attention as she picked up the egg. It's shell was quite cool, so she rubbed her hand on the shell to warm it up some. She then realized that the egg's mother might be nearby, and she quickly glanced around for any other Pokemon.

He hesitated for a moment, then picked up the egg. It was freezing, so he got a blanket out of his bag, wrapping it around the egg. There didn't seem to be any other pokemon around.

Noticing that some of his fellows had begun to awaken, Arashi wondered whether any of the others might have a better idea of what was going on that he did. With this in mind, he waved in their general direction. "Good morning," He began, his mellow bass voice kept hushed in case they were not as alone as they seemed. "Does anyone happen to know what's going on here?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to one side as he spoke. He'd noticed that there were the same number of eggs as there were humans, and he was therefore certain that this could be no accident. However, whether this was some kind of experiment or something else, he had little to no idea.

Brooke noticed one of the others waving towards her, and she turned towards him and stood up. "Um, hi," she began, waving towards him. "I actually don't know what's going on; I guess I was hoping someone else did." She laughed nervously, gently tightening her grip on the egg. The other three people hadn't woken up yet, and the other three eggs sat on the cool grass. Brooke wondered what would happen to the others if they didn't wake up, it bothered her a bit that something might happen to them.

"I don't know, Jeff - I don't recognise the area. I'm Arashi, by the way." The ponytailed teen replied, upon being addressed for the first time since waking up. Standing himself, egg in arms, he responded to the girl who was the only other of their group to have joined him in wakefulness. "I suppose that it may have been too much to hope for..." He sighed, shrugging slightly. "My current hypothesis is that we were teleported here for some reason, possibly for an experiment of some kind - but I don't have any proof.." Frowning for a moment, he realised that the other three were not showing signs of waking, and it was rather chilly. "Do you suppose we ought gather up some undergrowth to blanket the eggs? I'd feel rather guilty if they didn't hatch when I could have done something to help."

Brooke walked over to Arashi and Jeff, pushing her glasses back up as she walked. "That sounds like a good idea, I'm Brooke by the way," she said. "If we collect some leaves or other stuff to put on the other people, I'd feel a bit better too. No point in letting them freeze." She rubbed the egg again, warming the already-cool shell.

Encouraged by the others' reactions, Arashi slipped the egg he was holding into his rucksack - which he felt he could easily stuff with leaves to make a snug and portable nest. "Yes, better not let them get too cold either." He agreed, when the situation of the sleepers was mentioned. If they're still sleeping, even in this cold and with the noise we're making, perhaps it's a result of a Pokemon move? Or sedatives, I suppose, but why? He mused as he gathered up errant foliage and stuffed it into his rucksack. His book would be fine, it had a cover that was designed to keep it safe - the target audience being likely to take it into all kinds of places. Once the bag was full, he slung it carefully onto his back and began covering the other eggs with leaves. As far as he was concerned, they were the more vulnerable, being small and delicate. Besides, being small, they'd be the quickest to cover.

Brooke grabbed a few branches lying on the ground, carrying them over to one of the other people. The branches weren't too heavy, and the leaves were large enough to keep whatever was under it covered. Arashi was already covering up the eggs, so someone needed to try and cover the others. Besides, someone needs to keep them warm while they sleep. Otherwise, they may never wake up. Brooke sighed, trying to banish the grim thoughts. What mattered was keeping everyone safe in the strange situation they were all in. After making sure the first person was covered up with the leaves, she moved to cover the next person.

Scarlett groaned slightly, feeling warmth next to her. With a jolt, she woke up, wondering where she was. She looked over to see a few others, some awkae and some asleep and looked down to see a pokemon egg. "Whaaaa...? What am I doing here? Where am I?" She frantically asked the others. The last thing she remembered was her warm and cosy den. She wanted to leave, run far far away, but drowsiness prevented her to do so. Besides, the pokemon egg laying pitifully close to her looked so lonely, so she reached out for it. Before realising she had a blanket of leaves and moss around her. SHe looked around, seeing a girl putting leaves and moss on another sleep kid. "Hello?" She asked, wondering if this was some kind of experiment or joke or bad dream. "Do you have any idea what we're doing here?" Scarlett asked hopefully. "I'm Scarlett, but you can call me Scar or Star. AT least that's what they use to call me..." Scarlett started to recover from her drowsiness. Standing up, she remembered the pokemon egg, and grabbed it. Expertly makng a small nest out of the leaves used to cover her, she laid the egg inside. Hopefully it would hatch.
It's okay to be a glowstick, sometimes we need to break before we glow.

Brooke jumped when Scarlett woke up suddenly, and almost toppled over where she was sitting. She clutched her egg gently, then fixed her glasses where they had come off slightly. "Oh, um, hello. I'm Brooke," she said nervously. "So far none of us know what we're doing out; you're the fourth person to wake up."

Thomas woke up... his neck in much pain. He passed out again, waking up only a few minutes later. He sat up, only causing much more pain. His body couldn't take much more, then he saw it... right before him lied a satchel. While looking at the object he realized... he was no longer in the Hoenn region. The trees were different, it also had a strange ,but pleasant, odor. He got to his feet... and heard something he hadn't expected... voices. Human voices! As soon as he heard the voices he wasted no time to rush to the satchel and run, but the satchel was oddly heavy.
Thomas ran to a nearby tree and opened the satchel. Inside he found a chipped mug, and something he never seen before. In that satchel lied an egg. It shaked slowly back and forth. Thomas picked up the egg and set it down. He studied it closely, trying to predict what would come out. Then he heard a loud "crack" and the egg split open. As the egg split open a small pokemon had come out. It was a pokemon he'd never seen before, only heard of. It was an Eevee...

"I am Arashi." The egg-covering teen responded, noticing that they were introducing themselves to Scarlett. He might not have usually been the most sociable of fellows, being a little reclusive when left to his own devices, but he recognised the value of being a part of a tight-knit group while apparently abandoned in a small team out in the wilderness. He was disappointed that the newly-woken girl didn't know what was up either, but he supposed that it was to be expected. Having finished covering the eggs, one of which he had placed in a satchel for extra warmth, he moved towards one of the uncovered sleepers. Ass he was festooning one with leaves, the other woke, surprising him. He was about to greet the person, when the ex-sleeper grabbed the satchel and bolted. "How peculiar... I don't suppose any of you know what that was all about?"

Ah crud I forgot about this again! >~< ))

Brooke stared as she watched the boy grab the satchel and run off, her own egg sitting on her lap where she sat. Unlike the others that woke up, he instantly ran off. "Nope. That was just strange..." She replied to Arashi, attempting to think of a partial explanation. "Maybe he was so surprised that his fight-or-flight instincts kicked in and he ran off? Who knows." Brooke laughed nervously, rubbing her egg.

His egg began to shake. It shook more. It cracked down the middle, and out came a Fletchling. "Aww, its so cute!" He said.
