Frank Macewinder looked at the Institute he was seeing. It was tall, wide, and seemed good enough. He looked at his best friend, Aria Westwind, and grinned. "This will be fun, wont it?" They smile and run in the Institute.

Aprell yawned. Something new wasn't necessary better. Or less boring, for that matter. She walks towards the Institute.

But at that moment, another kid was entering the Institute. His name was Aaren, and as he couldn't really be a ninja, his sweet ninja moves into the school sent him falling into someone. He quickly got up and walked away, giving whoever had been hit no time to recognize him so they could get revenge later. Or something.

Aimee gripped her bag straps, running a hand through her hair. She continued towards the school, looking at a girl in front of her. She blushed lightly, looking to her feet.

Aprell ignored anyone that got in her way. The first day was when people would get to understand you, but the thing you have to know about Aprell; she's a mess of mind issues and anger. She'll break something if she's mad, or maybe even someone. She didn't want them to know THAT so early. She'd not interact until combat, then suddenly WOW NOBODY CARES BUT SHE'S COOL AAA. A perfect plan. Foolproof, if only it weren't thought up by quite a fool.

(This is based off the fact that as a troll she's known for attacking her landmates.)

Jack knew from the prophecy that he had to attend this academy, but why did it have to be this boring of an academy? Although, he could always be entertained by the voices in his head, who were unusually loud and active today.

Aprell leaned on a corner of the wall, studying the incoming students from over her pale yellow sunglasses, eyes of a deep lemony color analyzing them as if she was already deciding how to take down each of the students in a battle. She absentmindedly moved her hand over a cut on the other, which was still dripping a little bit of blood. The blood resembled lemonade, but you probably should NOT drink it.

Aimee entered the school, glancing at a girl with pale yellow glasses. She sent her a soft smile, and stopped to bend for a drink of water. The fountain went to her chest anyway, and she barely had to lean down to get a drink.

Her eyes fell on Aimee. The girl looked quiet, possibly shy. Aprell figured if they ever had to fight, it wouldn't be an issue at all. But you couldn't judge a book by it's cover--even if that cover was... oddly cute.

She shook the thought out of her head. Silly kid, flushed quadrant is for trolls!

Frank grinned. His strategy every first day- Find new friends. So was Aria's strategy.

Aimee stood up straight, and decided she could read for a bit. She sat against the wall, and pulled out a novel. She ran a hand through her short hair, and smiled.

She snapped her sunglasses back over her eyes, the slitted pupils and yellow whites and irises only visible for a moment as she studied Frank before speaking. "Uhm, greetings."

You're blowing it, Aprell. One false slip and you'll be growing your horns back in and your teeth will be fangs and your skin'll be gray and you'll be extremely offended by this humans as it is with their nature towards trolls... she thought.

Aimee jumped, letting out a small squeak. She looked up at Aria, and smiled with a soft blush. She pushed up her glasses. "Oh! He-hello!" She smiled awkwardly, placing her bookmark back in her book.

She considered giving the kid a hint about her origins, but she decided not to. Dropping a hint... that wouldn't be good for her. At least, not now, while nobody knew about her strength, how unnaturally she acted...


(So, uh, you know how Aprell is based off a Homestuck fantroll I made? Since she's a human for this roleplay, I was kinda planning on it being a sort of curse (her being a human), and if she somehow managed to spill the secret, then she would turn back. For some reason, she really doesn't want to.)

He was arguing to Jason, the Main Voice, when he suddenly ran into a strange looking girl. She seems to waver, like a mirage. He thinks he sees a flash or horn, but that's not possible. Anything with horns had been taken out in the war centuries before.
