Welcome to the official Team Pumpkaboo RP! Please note that the following two posts are entirely out of character and are not considered to be part of the story that is about to unfold.
Below is a depiction of Pumpkaboo Island, the setting at which this role-play will take place.

As this role-play will not be enjoyable if it is uncivilized, all members must comply with the following rules, which are not necessarily in order of importance:
• Posts must always have a minimum of two sentences. However, when possible, more is preferred.

• Please write in third person (he/she/it) rather than first (I) or second (you). Additionally, please write in paragraph style, with quotation marks, punctuation, etc. rather than writing with asterisks for actions, saying the character's name and then a colon for dialogue, etc. Your posts should look like you are writing a story, not like you are talking to a friend.

• You may not make overpowered characters or control the characters of other players. Each Pumpkaboo is given one signature move that other Pokémon cannot use; other than this, nobody may use any move that Pumpkaboo cannot learn, with the exception of plot-based characters controlled by CarpetMonster and I, which will only use moves known by their species.

• Read the last few posts before replying. If you're supposed to be in a forest, for example, please don't say "The cave was so dark that Pumpkaboo was unable to make out a thing."

• You may NOT double-post under any circumstances. Additionally, please do not edit your posts other than to correct typos, grammatical mistakes, etc. Even then, please make note of what was edited. Should you change the meaning of your post, even if it is a mere change in what attack you're using, other members may be confused, your post may no longer fit, and a huge number of other problems may arise, so please do not do so.

• Each member may only use his or her Pumpkasona from the actual fan club; by extension, there is a maximum of one character per person. Characters of other species will not be accepted. However, CarpetMonster and I may use characters of other species for the purposes of the plot, and may use more than one character.

• When you join, you will need to create a Signature Move for your Pumpkaboo, as mentioned above. It is hard to come up with set rules for what makes a move overpowered, so CarpetMonster and I will be going over them on a case-by-case basis; however, we will try our best to explain how you can make your move better when we do.

• There are two guilds to choose from; we are hoping to balance out the number of members in each. If there are three more members in one group than in the other, any forms to join the more popular group will be rejected. Please join the other, so that they can be balanced.
Though it is not very large, the town in which this role-play takes place just happened to be blessed by not one, but two Exploration Team Guilds around it: the Solstice Guild and the Equinox Guild. These two Guilds are similar to one another in many ways, including the fact that both are inhabited solely by Pumpkaboo. These Guilds help the town between them by bringing goods such as items from deep within Dungeons, and in exchange, many of the townsfolk have set up shops specifically to help Exploration Teams:

Spiritomb Storage - Pokémon can come here to store their items with Spiritomb, who seals them away safely until they are needed. Item storage is free, and Pokémon can store or withdraw items at any time if they visit Spiritomb.

Drifloon Shop - Run by a Drifloon who carries goods on the wind from far-off regions, this shop is full of the best merchandise. Pokémon come here to purchase items every day, ranging from the common Pecha Berries to the rare and expensive Pure Seeds. The stock rotates every day, so all Pokémon are advised to come often!

Shuppet Bank - Pokémon can store their money with Shuppet. The Puppet Pokémon always makes sure that money is safe with her, though she often makes creepy and bizarre statements and tends to scare off a lot of Pokémon. All Pumpkaboo will find 500 already deposited in their accounts when they first visit him, and every time they rank up, as Shuppet's way of expressing gratitude for their hard work as rescue Pokémon.

Golett's Dojo - Pokémon can come to this dojo, run by Golett, to train against others. A number of volunteer Pokémon from around the island will come to battle here, most of whom are Ghost-type, and Pumpkaboo may enter specialized training mazes to further hone their exploration skills.

Chandelure's Café - Pokémon can come here to purchase hot drinks made by Chandelure out of any ingredients they choose, which both taste good AND have amazing effects ranging from increasing stats and (somehow) teaching Pokémon a variety of skills to use in dungeons. Of course, it all depends on the ingredient you give, so if one gives Chandelure a Vile Seed...

Aegislash's Link Shop - Pokémon can come here to link moves with Aegislash's help. Aegislash can combine two moves into one, allowing Pokémon to use them simultaneously. However, this makes Pokémon hungry for some reason. The link is broken when the fused move runs out of PP, separating the moves until Aegislash redoes the link.
As stated before, there are two Guilds of Pumpkaboo: the Equinox Guild, to the west of the town, and the Solstice Guild, to the east.

Unlike in most Guilds, the partnerships are shuffled every day. In this way, Pumpkaboo can get to know each other rather than having permanent pairings. Immediately afterwards, the announcements for the day are read by the Guildmasters, and the teams begin their work, either by finishing jobs they have accepted previously or by going to the notice boards to decide on new jobs. Guild of Choice: Solstice! ^^
Signature Move: Kryosynthesis - an Ice-type version of Synthesis. It restores the most HP in Hail, just like how the real Synthesis restores more HP in Sun, and restores the least HP when there is a weather condition other than Hail.

Signature Move: Flirt - A dark version of the move Charm. Charm greatly decreases the enemy's attack (50%). With flirt this move can only be used once per battle and only works on enemies of the opposite gender. After all, Queen Pumpkaboo hates violence and loves you .3.

In any case, I believe that your Signature Move is slightly too powerful. The other moves that always hit have powers of 60, except Vital Throw (which has the downside of always going last) and Aura Sphere (which, though it has the same power as Plasma Ray, has no additional side-effect). As such, I think that it would be better if you reduced the power OR reduced/removed the chance of paralysis.
(However, I might accept it anyway, as you don't get STAB from it. I'm not really sure. XD)

I really wanna keep the paralysis effect so I'll just lower the power to 60. Thanks for the advice, I also thought it was slightly overdone but now I'm sure xD I'll also just say that it's a special move and not a physical one :p

Before I accept or reject, does "three knives" mean it's a multi-hit move that hits up to three times? (I say "up to" because some of the hits may miss, given that it has low accuracy.)

No the three of them are launched at once, but they go to the same point unless one is blocked, intercepted ect... The three knives are just to make the move sound cooler.

In that case, I believe that the move may actually be slightly underpowered. Would you like to increase either the power or the accuracy? It's up to you, but I'm just letting you know that the option is there if you want to. ^^

Guild of Choice: Solstice (I have never actually talk with King Carpet 1v1. He's my King anyway, and members got to learn more about the royal family they are serving. Hope you accept me.)

Signature Move: Kill-or-heals - Type: Ghost and Status - Power: ??? - Accuracy: ???
What it does:
50% hit. If hit, defending pokemon will have 50% of HP, dividing from the original HP. Meaning if the defending pokemon have 50% HP left, it will do nothing. Also there is 10% of palarizing the defending pokemon.

If it don't, the pokemon that do the attack will lose 20% HP, and have 15% chance of getting confused

Hi Ash, quick thing this attack may be overpowered since it counter acts it's own weakness by being fire and water. If you attack a grass type the fire works. If you attack fire the water works. If you attack water then you still have the water to hit to make up for the fire.

If you could check some Pokemon moves and base your signature move around it so we can have relatively powerful attacks that aren't overpowered.
