Hartroot thought. Ah, I do need to lighten up, don't I? Sometimes my brain travels in time, be it past present or even future. Then, Hartroot remebered. "Oh right! I need to give Berrypool's kittens the herbs". She went and collected the herbs left in den. Coming out, she saw Berrypool with Breezetail. "Hey Berrypool," Hartroot called, "Can I give these to your kittens real quick?"

Hartroot, hearing her name called, walked over. "Did somebody summon me...?", she asked. She saw Jaykit with the others. She had already seen Jaykit, so she was fine with that. Looking at all the people around her though, she started going. "Listen, I may not know how or when this kitten got here, but it's completely unsafe to be around this kitten at the current time. Any random cat that you find could have a variety of diseases or parasites such as ticks. I don't need to be your mother to protect you from this it should be simple enough. Every time Clovertail or Milofur or anyone else puts their nose in a thorn bush they always come back to me. It should be simple enough by know. i haven't even started on where they came from. Therearethetwo-legsorshecouldbeakittypetshecouldevenbeaspyfromanyotherclanyoushouldallknowbetterthanthis *lecturing becomes illegible*. SO", Hartroot finished, "IN CONCLUSION, you probably shouldn't be around that kitty".

Milofur looked around, then loudly said, "It's okay, little Lichenpaw, it's all good. Wait... did you say that there was... NO FOOD!?!?!?!? AGHHHH"

Hartroot walked away and grabbed something in the distance. She came back and put it in front of Berrypool. "Eat up. It's Borage leaves- it increases the milk that you have. You're going to need to feed all 5 kittens."

Hartroot looked at Clovertail, "It was dangerous. I have reason to be frightened". Looking back at Silvermoon, she thought for a moment, then said, "I'll check her, but I'll need some herbs from my den. It'll just be the basic stuff. Some Lavender in case she has fever and, unfortunately, Mouse Bile in case she has any ticks."

Late and off time, Hartroot and Clovertail arrived at the scene. Hartroot walked over to Berrypool and observed the kittens. "Well," Hartroot started, "You performed an unprofessional, probably dangerous, and mostly unsupervised birth... BUT nothing went wrong, and you gave birth to 5 kittens. I'd say that you triumphed greatly. I'll probably want to check up on all of them to make sure they're all healthy", she looked at the disabled kitten. "And that 3-legged one is lucky to be alive, I definitely need to investigate that". Hartroot gave a big smile, then, glancing around she spotted Jaykit. Squinting, Hartroot said, "When did we get another one of... No matter, though I'll ALSO have to check that one". I sure have my fair share of work, don't I, Hartroot thought.

"You needn't to yell, Clovertail. A simple 'Good morning' would suffice," Hartroot lectured. Clovertail smiled, "You rarely wake up early enough. I'm just lending you a hand. Anyways, I think that Berrypool should be birthing her kits soon. It would be good if you stayed around her for the time being". "Ah," replied Hartroot, "That girl... Well then, let's head over to her den".
