When you go to the Event Distribution page when an event is active, there's a graphic of an egg that bounces and shakes every few seconds. For some reason, if you keep this page open and left in the background (i.e use other tabs, just keep this page off screen) the egg graphic rises. The longer you leave the tab, the higher it goes, until you switch back onto the tab, where the egg then slowly bounces downward back into place. Doesn't seem to be a browser issue, as I've encountered it on two different browsers, both PC and mobile.

While a harmless bug that doesn't require immediate attention, it's still a bug, and does need addressing to keep the site looking tidy ;)

CatLady - That's the point - why make a one time thing near impossible to get? It's supposed to be a celebration. Something like that should be given away with little to no effort, especially if you've been a member for just as long. There doesn't seem to be anything special for the members who have stuck around for years and spent real money on the site. Why not give away the special Mew for free on login? The shiny chance can be determined by how many years you've been a member, or how many days you've logged in, etc. It makes being a member rewarding.

Any chance the spending requirements for the Mew plushies could be altered, or event extended? I'm trying my darndest to rack up the DP but I'm afraid I'm not going to make it anywhere near enough for 10 plushies. I don't really care for the shiny at this point, but I don't want to miss out on such a huge milestone celebration. It wouldn't be so bad if the points carried over each plushie; I think people have worked out it'll be around 41K for 10 plushies. I make around 700 DP a day, and event is only up for 16 days :')

It is a little bit unreasonable, especially considering some people might not have been aware this event was happening (me, after my 3 year hiatus oops), and that Dream World tasks have to be manually claimed, which I forget to do *every* time. I understand it's supposed to be special, but something *this* special should honestly be handed out for free or with little effort for just being a member of the community. It shouldn't have to be so laborious.

Edit: My bad I thought the special Mew required 10 plushies. But the shiny requirements is still a big yikes.

Shiny plushie is 20%, or 1/5
Obtaining an egg resets your shiny Zeraora chain, but not your Pokeradar chain
You can retain your shiny chance for years to come should you want a 100% shiny egg

I'm not quoting Riako's post but it's in there else I wouldn't know this info. Please, read the darn post thoroughly before you ask.

Thanks for the confirmation. Has the fact that berries have a higher encounter chance affected the odds compared to previous releases? I've done 20k+ berries and no luck. Others have done similar numbers. I get it's supposed to be rare, but you've encouraged people to shiny hunt it with the plushies but with odds like these it's more off putting than anything. Not everyone has the time or energy to do 10k+ daily.

Also, does the premium shiny boost affect these events, or will I be wasting nuggets?

Can we get some confirmation whether berries do increase chances because, as BOT-NPC has pointed out, there are two conflicting statements in this post. I have fed thousands, and I mean thousands of berries and no dice. I'm talking at least 10k berries fed. I got one encounter and that was before I thoroughly read this post and started berry feeding.

Edit: There should also be a cap that would guarantee a Zeraora appearance, because 17k for one encounter is kinda demoralising. Just let me have the shiny :'v

I'm pretty baffled at how many people, including myself, are missing one or two eggs. Riako says site maps aren't reliable and even dropped a hint that they are even missing pages, yet any obvious page would have already been on the map/found by users yet so many people can't find a specific page.
Does anyone have any super obscure links that can easily be missed? I'm not talking about pages like evolve a Pokémon via an item, I'm talking something that's possibly lost in time because I've scanned every easily accessible page and hyperlink more than a couple times with no results.
I'm suspicious something's gone wrong somehow, maybe some eggs have accidently been placed on pages that no longer exist/have changed like Herowalker or earning DP, or eggs are not appearing on a few certain pages due to a bug.

While I do agree site maps is cheating and not what the event is about, I do have to back it up. There is no way someone could get to some pages, like Kyurem or Zeraora pages, they simply do not have a link to them. Trust me, this is the first time in 4 years I've had to use a site map to find all the eggs, and I'm still missing one.
If all the eggs were within the 4 tabs and the 4 tabs ONLY (can be further within the tabs i.e in the shops) then it's all good but you can't expect anyone to find them in obscure pages dating back to 2015 with no links around to access them.

I also have to raise the point of locking eggs behind items/levels. If my last egg is behind wormhole traveling I'm going to be seriously upset because that just penalizes my and it's beyond my control.

Going through the entire site 6 times, with and without maps, to no avail is not fun. I'm going to make one final trip using every hyper link I find without using a site map. Probably won't find it, and if so I'm calling quits.

Some fancy Fabergé style eggs styled after Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza. It's so hard to work detail on pixel art, you're gonna have to zoom in a little to see the detail :S Not too happy with how the Rayquaza one looks, it looks boring compared to the other two.

Ruby Egg - A ruby egg with a pattern of bronze and black diamonds in respect to Groudon.
Sapphire Egg - A sapphire egg with a pattern of silver and rubies in respect to Kyogre.
Emerald Egg - An emerald egg with a pattern of gold and amber in respect to Rayquaza.
