Well that IS kind of the theme, though a lot of the enemies are not fat, but yeah the characters are just round and chubby, not pools of fat. The worst is probably Splendid Ricky, but even he's only droopy around the (concealed) legs, and that's due to my general fatfur style being heavily influenced by Akira Toriyama, who has a lot of characters like that who are mostly round except for around the legs (Think Buyon and Balzaak/Tuskateer/Grandmaster Nizmo/Etc). I kind of like this style cause it adds density to the design, which IMO gives them a better illusion of being a living wall. ...That's usually about as far as I go, though, I find anything more than that to be kinda gross.

Ironically, two of the playable characters are Akira Toriyama OCs based off monsters from Dragon Quest and Blue Dragon.

"Ladies and gentleman" The first words Pokemon heard in the grand Fighting Tournament entry match. Already, a match was taking place. Pokemon could see three figures: a large cloaked figure with an orb floating next to it and two competitors. The cloaked figure was standing between the two, slightly taller than both of them. One of the competitors was a Vigoroth who seemed quite feisty and ready for a battle. The other one had its back turned to the other. It was a Drowzee, and he was munching on a large steam bun.

"As it turns out, we have an odd number of competitors, so we shall have one qualifying match for our last two competitors to enter," the cloaked figure said before the Vigoroth ran up to the cloaked figure.

"As if this is necessary!" Vigoroth shouted. "You seriously think pitting me up against a fat food-hound is a fair fight!?" The Drowzee paused his pre-fight meal as he said this. "But I suppose it's a good idea to fill him with false hope. Let him have a chance to make a fool of himself as I, well, you know, weed out the weak!"

The Drowzee stood up, his back still turned to the Vigoroth before he tossed what was left of his steam bun, about half of it, behind him. He then turned to the Vigoroth, ready to fight. ...But then his eyes darted back to his steam bun, which he rushed right to and resumed munching on. The audience laughed at the Drowzee. The Drowzee wasn't particularly different in size for his species, which was pretty chunky, but most Drowzee weren't known for stuff like this.

"What's the matter? Are steam buns more important than fighting!?" the Vigoroth shouted. "Come on, tubby! At least try to fight! Or are you just going to sit there and stuff your face!?"

The Drowzee had finished his steam bun and stood up to pose for the Vigoroth. "I'll make you feel quite silly when I'm through with you," the Drowzee taunted.

"Oh, so you ARE going to fight me, then!" the Vigoroth shouted. The Vigoroth charged right at the Drowzee, launching himself for a claw swipe.

...As you'd expect, the Drowzee spun out of the way. He then sent a fist to the Vigoroth's face. He followed this with a knee to the chest, staggering him backward to allow the Drowzee to follow up with a kick from the same leg to the same area. The Drowzee then followed up with one more attack, a hook from his hand, which beared a ring with a purple gem. The attack knocked a fang out of the Vigoroth's head. It was clear the Vigoroth didn't know what hit him.

The Vigoroth got up, and he kept trying and trying to get a shot in, but the Drowzee outsmarted him quite easily, dodging most of his attacks, sending harder blows. It was clear the Drowzee was slower than the Vigoroth, but the Drowzee's brain was faster. Eventually, the Vigoroth made one last attempt to get up after a hard blow from the Drowzee's ringed hand again, but failed and collapsed.

"Weeding out the weak, was it?" the Drowzee asked the Vigoroth after putting a hoof on his back. The Vigoroth wasn't getting up.

"Congratulations, Enzo," the cloaked figure said. "Not that I'm surprised, of course, since it was obvious that idiot was setting himself up for failure, but regardless, you are now officially in the tournament. Of course, there are hundreds of other competitors who are probably a lot smarter than "Egg-Head" down there, but still... Good luck and such."

Enzo... That was the name of the Drowzee. He was now officially in the tournament.

But also in the tournament, the other competitors were getting ready for a fight. Some more confident than others, but all itching to win.

Note, I am trying to post this around my niche. I'm also not into it like some people are, and tend to prefer less exaggerated fatfurs like HIJOKE and Canson to the senseless, pools of fat I see some people draw. It's complicated, but I feel for me it's about the playful personalities, the illusion of size, and the fantasy trope of being impossible to hurt in the belly rather than merely making a character fat. I try to reflect this in my game by trying not to go too far with them. I ALSO REALIZE IT'S A FANTASY TROPE AND NOT REALISTIC, SO PLEASE DON'T USE THAT CARD AS AN ARGUMENT. (Can't find the Bold option here)

I also don't see it as a fetish, but more like an interest. Some people like pools of fat, but others like me just like round, soft characters cause they find them cute and their design has a huggable appearance to them. And Toma, it's not as easy as finding something else. Fatfurs are currently my favorite thing to draw, and is generally a big interest of mine. FA has fatfur art of all kinds, ranging from the more tasteful stuff I'm generally interested in to more unpleasant stuff that I usually avoid.

But I'm also looking for advice on starting a contest, and I'm wondering about good ways of advertising.

I have been making an RPG in RPG Maker 2003 for a while, though it's kind of a niche RPG based on a niche interest (Fatfurs to be exact). Though it uses a Niche interest, I tried to keep it tasteful and give it features that set it apart from other RPGs such as the hostage system and the Gordo Grande system, and I also have the option to have your own characters put in the game. (Being a fatfur RPG, only fatfurs are actually allowed).

...I've been struggling to get noticed though, and I want to start a contest for the addition of a new contest, but I'm worried I'm not well known enough to pull it off. Being a fatfur RP, I'm looking for a Mole playable, since they are obvious fatfurs, but... Fatfurs are niche enough, and I'm worried moles are too niche even among fatfurs, and am starting to consider making it a contest about dragons. Everyone loves dragons, and the contest would be less niche. ...But I was hoping I could save dragons for later. I also have a good mole-based character planned up, but no dragons. Still, regardless of what I do, I'm not sure how to advertise the contest and how to get it out to my niche.

Could someone give me some advice.

Special Appearance Description: This Dragonite wears a top hat and a red bow tie to go with his umbrella.
Personality: He's a ham. He likes to talk fancily and egotistically, but in fact he just has an incredibly playful personality along with his friend Punch.
Bio: Not much to say about his past, but any I come up with will be RPed.
Anything Else?: Pop and Punch have a relationship together. ...unless that's awkward. Both being gay, their options for soul mates are limitless. especially since Pop and Punch would otherwise not be compatible.

Personality: He's kind of a silent creature, and doesn't say much, especially in a fight. He also tends to get agitated a bit when bothered. He's not a bad guy once you get to know him, though.
Bio: Not much to say about his past, but any I come up with will be RPed.
Anything Else?: Like Arch, he wears an Everstone on him. His everstone is attached to a ring he wears on his finger.
