The hat: - No support on it increasing stamina. Being out in an actual storm while fishing, it actually saps a bit more energy from you. - Support for slight making bait last longer. - No support for making fishing easier, because as you said it's already easy. What's hard is having patience with the luck factor. "Wearing it strongly improves your fishing skills." Part of fishing skills is also knowledge of when (time and weather) a fish is more active/hungry. So instead, how about the chances of fishing certain pokemon are re-stacked depending on preference to time and weather? For example, water/electric pokemon would have a slight increased chance of being caught during a thunderstorm. During Rain, pure water types would have a slight increased chance. - No support on items being fished easier during the storm. A rare chance of finding something like that on the beach during a storm I'd support though. - Support on not increasing shiny chances. Thunderstorm Weather: - No support for finding just rare pokemon easier during a storm. Not all fish would be active during that time. Some fish can know when a storm is going to hit and hide. However, a rare ocean tsunami event would be interesting, as they usually bring deep sea dwelling creatures up from the depths. It would include more pokemon than those two, and would maybe last only a short time and giving a slight increase in them being fished. I feel like this might need a quest to obtain a boat first though before the ocean event being available. - No support. One, my suggestion above via the hat. Two, we have magnetic bait for that. - Support, but the chance of Zekrom appearing only if we have an item. Maybe a lightning rod? Lol. Luvdisc: - Support - Support - Support Shoal Salt and Shoal Shell: - Half support. I can see the shell being used to make bait, but not the salt. - Support. Salt is an important ingredient in some recipes and leaving it out can be disastrous. Fishing Contest: Support on Fishing tournaments! The winning qualifications can change. I personally prefer a catch & release system, where you get points for what you fish up. How many points you get depends on what it is you haul in per throw. Minor Suggestions: - Support for adding the key. The box is already there, why not the key as well? The box trade doesn't show up often, it's hard enough fishing out the correct pokemon, and it's a nice alternative to those who avoid the cauldron at all cost for the reasons of saving up gems and not wanting to waste gems due to not being able to tell a difference in some colors. Make the trades appear at the same chance rate, and make it cancel each other out so that both trades cannot both be available at the same time to help keep them rare though. - Support for the dream world task. Lets try looking this from a different point of view. Not one want's to compete with no prize, correct? The limited number of victini are limited as well. As someone else has said, how about their be different prizes, but overall more prizes handed out in general. The first drawn winner of a particular gets first pick from that prize pool that contains X amount of vicitini eggs. Whether or not they have a victini, they don't have to choose it as their prize but may if they wish. An addition to the prize pool could be another event pokemon, non-breedable and only obtained via SCEs. This would give those who already have victini a reason to participate, but a reason to choose something else other than victini. Personally, I would love to see everyone get something based on their participation. I would have been happy with even a box/key of any color. Another way to look at this is that the prizes are given as eggs. What if the victini eggs were replaced with victini vouchers? This would allow easier shiny hunting for victini, but also allow the possibility for those who want the eggdex and not just the pokemon to obtain it. There are other ways to come to a solution. I myself clicked my fingers to the bone, nearly 3k interactions during some and I entered around 11 SCEs. Nada for me. However, a friend of mine only entered 1 SCE, they filled the last open slot, only 1 egg could be won, and by the time the person had started clicking it was 4 minutes past the start of the event. To finally reply.. Yes, I only checked my miltanks at most twice a day. However, half of that was their product as there were times only 1 milk would be produced. I don't know if that was a bug a not. I've stopped feeding my miltanks berries and just remove any berry bulletin request that requires moomoo as the item or ingredient. As for me, at that production rate, berries are just too expensive. However, if we were able to use our garden berries, that would help a lot. I'd also like to propose another use for our garden grown berries. You know how our scour pokemon are given free berries for the mission they go on? What if we could give them grown berries as well? As for the purpose, maybe they gave an increase to the chance of pokemon bringing back items. Maybe a few special berries instead helped lure pokemon from those rumbles where pokemon are obtainable as well? One more thing. I think incorporating berry level would be a bit too much. Sure, let us choose which berries we want to use via what our tool shed shows, but coding in the difference for 100 levels per berry may do more harm than help. So maybe instead focus on the rarity of the berry vs effect amount? [Read more] |

The warning is subtle on the index page, only telling players that egg might be obtained as a reward. If you have Riako added on your friendlist and the minor updates thread subscribed, and read through everything you should, then there are ample enough warnings to keep a space free in your party. With that though, even older players sometimes forget till it's too late! However, Riako has been nice enough to add a pop-up warning on most things reminder players to make sure that they have an open spot in their party before continuing with the action they were performing. Egg storage slots are not that expensive. There are also very generous players out there how will give new players a sort of care package. Part of that package is usually a good amount of pd so that the player can outright buy or have to only put in a bit of effort for their first egg storage slot. Having features hold eggs for players would defeat several functions and put a needless, extra strain on the sight when we already have a feature that could be slightly altered to obtain just about the same effect. I finally found the thread. I do remember the OP being a bit different, but the title, also the main basic objective, is what's important. Yes, it's about utilizing the egg storage for another purpose, but in general your suggestion is a bit of a different point of view of the approach. The focus is obtaining an egg when your party is full. The thread's secondary focus is moving those eggs straight to storage. Your thread's secondary focus is moving a pokemon from the party into a box, and the egg going into the party. If your's was implemented, what would happen when you obtain a christmas retro egg, or any egg for that matter, when you have a full party of eggs? If you win an auction, accept a trade, or get a pokemon from Prof. Rowan the pokemon goes into the first field that has available space. Why was it coded this way instead of booting something out of the party? First off, it's easier to code. Second is it takes less coding. Thirdly, it's unnecessary. As such, it would be far easier to take that same coding and adapt it to when adopting eggs with a full party and those eggs going into egg storage. ..I really don't see how that statement cannot be taken as anything but offensive. There is no reason to be rude. Please show me the same general respect as a person as I show to you. :/ To sum it up. Yes, I support that thread and not this one. Your main objective of this thread is to obtain those eggs instead of those eggs being lost, which is the same main goal of the suggestion as the other thread and thus your same general idea has already been suggested. On top of that, the particulars you are suggesting is over complicated and would make unnecessary strain. Plus, you are not applying to everywhere where it could apply to. The other thread as is would accomplish the same thing you are wanting. The only difference is being it would be easier and more efficient to achieve while staying true to the current mechanics and would be easier for Riako to add. This is why I said I don't support your suggestion as is. If you changed your suggestion to change christmas retro egg gift boxes so that instead you get a retro voucher, then that I would support. The other suggestion covers everything where you may obtain an egg, even without notice. The harvest sprites, the special daycare eggs, and yes including sky gifts, christmas gifts, and advent gifts. Aka, if your party is full when you receive an egg at any time then the egg would go into your Egg Storage providing you have an open slot there. This suggestion alone would also be easier for Riako as it would mostly be just a little bit of tweaking from exiting code and adding in a bit of new code. Your suggestion however, Riako would have to do more new coding as well as rework and tweak existing code. The empty boxes I am sure were not intended. However, a proper suggestion on how to fix it other than players keeping a party slot open hasn't been made. Plus, in all fairness, every year there is a warning made for players about keeping a slot open not only when opening gifts but when opening advent doors too. Now, while the suggestion I mentioned is an excellent one, if it is not something you wish oh well. While I do not support your idea, I would support if vouchers were given instead. Mind you, again, the cause of this effect would be Riako having to do a little extra coding as well as tweaking existing code. I support. There is a weather event for every other type of pokemon and the old argument of there not being enough fairy types is no longer valid. If counting every dex data slot (including megas, events, and retros, there are around 75 pokemon with a fairy typing and will be more when all of the pokemon from the Alola region are released. Whether if fairy is a pokemons only typing, or one of it's dual typing, it does not matter as duel types would still receive an exp bonus just as all other dual types do. And if someone wants to still reject Fairy weather due to the amount, then the weather for Steel pokemon should be removed there are currently now less Steel types than there are Fairy. That ratio between Fairy and Steel pokemon will stay true even when all of the Alola pokemon are added. I also support the already make fairy sprite to being used. All the other weather follows the theme of using the castform sprite it's associated with. As for the weather, I adore and support meme's suggestion of using rainbows to represent the Fairy weather and it's description. For example, the current weather at the moment... Show

Lastly, having Fairy weather available will finally make the Fairy castform dex available. One would only need to.. The coding for this wouldn't take much either as everything is pretty much already there, including the art. Honestly, I like a different suggestion that has been made better. It's thread is eluding me though otherwise I'd link it. Anyways, the suggestion's basis is that anytime you receive an egg and you do not have an open spot for it in your party, that that egg goes straight into your Egg Storage box if you have an unoccupied egg slot. It would cover the tall grass, daycare, lab, etc.. Anything anywhere when you may receive an egg and your party is full. Down to the point, it is our responsibility to make sure we have room for it. It's the same when you are on a trip. If you don't have room for something then you can't take/bring it. Having an egg directly go to your Egg Storage if there is room still fits that test, it wouldn't disrupt anything, and the coding end of it could be easier on Riako than what you are suggesting.
